"Behind the scenes"
CoasterFanatic replied to Musical Pete's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have been in the engine room for the Noahs Ark attraction at Kennywood. And here are some quick highlights. - You can actually crawl under the plexiglass in the first room - The original wallpaper is still in there from the original Hipppo room - The motor that rocks the boat is pretty damn impressive - You can stand behind the "imploding chamber" in the last gag -

But we do! Actually, if you haven't had a chance to try some of the Penn Brewery beers, I highly recommend them. -
Greg, I knew you had great tastes.

I would also recommend Florida. - Their Universal is Better - Their Disney is Better - Kissimmee Skycoasters is kind of "The Skycoaster" - Easy Access to Busch Gardens Tampa - Warmer - Cheaper Flight - Cheaper Hotel - Cheaper Car Rental Wait ... Elissa already said all of this.

That has to be the prettiest keg I have ever seen. -

True. Almost everybody I know that votes in the poll is an ACE Member or some sort of enthusiast. I think the real problem is that a lot of people don't vote with their gut, because they think it will just go to waste. I know people who have wanted to vote for something outside of the norm, but it just doesn't make a difference. Kind of like voting "Green". Anyway, if it the truth you seek, do what many have suggested and check this page out: http://www.geocities.com/wcoasterpoll/ In the end, I think that most polls are pretty useless but to gather a general opinion. My top 10 is the only one that matters!

Sorry Gregg. 2 Weeks too early for me also. Damn PPP! -
That is hysterical. The photo gallery is worth the price of admission alone.

I need some portfolio help
CoasterFanatic replied to CoasterEricHP's topic in Random, Random, Random
^ I would recommend designing a promo for your video including a small blumb and some good quality stills. I don't really have any video in my portfolio, but I do have a decent bit of flash and treat it about the same way. The easier you can make it for the people viewing, the more they will like it. I actually designed 3 of the templates that the Art Institute uses for their websites. Examples: Design 1 http://www.aicala.artinstitutes.edu/index.asp?ref=1 http://www.ilic.artinstitutes.edu/index.asp?ref=1 http://www.ailv.artinstitutes.edu/index.asp?ref=1 All the menus and news tickers are in Flash with an XML backend so they easily change for each school Design 2 http://www.aim.artinstitutes.edu/index.asp?ref=1 -

Looks like Yahoo photos doesn't like you leeching from their site. Try saving the image to your drive and then uploading it here.

Germans on a coastertrip in October in California

Why not lump together Legoland and Sea World back to back? The traffic you have to deal with sucks. No sense in doing it any more than you have to. Also, I don't know if it is open or not, but if you go to Sea World it would probably be worthwhile to drive the extra mile or two to check out Belmont Park and the Giant Dipper.
