  1. Send a self-addressed stomped antelope to: T Cromwell 250 Wayne Ave Weirton, WV and I will send you what I have.
  2. I also found Long Beach to have some rather "Interesting" sections. When I went that way last spring, I stopped in West Coast Choppers and that neighborhood was "interesting"
  3. I hate how American has this big aversion to nudity but violence is cool. Just goes to show how f**ked up our standards are. If you kiss a ***** (XXX Rated) If you cut off a ***** with a chainsaw (R Rated) WTF!
  4. I will be there with bells on .... and NOTHING else. If you didn't know it already, this is the MUST-ATTEND event of the year.
  5. Actually, it is about the same here. I can get it in PA for around $55/case. // Beats the hell out of shelling out $110 for 12 bottles of Chimay.
  6. ^ Not to mention the great PR the park would get as a bonus. "Child Falls Out of Busch Gardens Ride"

  9. ^ I just thought it was funny because nobody is more "METAL" than Manowar. // If you're not into Metal, you are not my friend
  10. Since the TPR boards started, I have noticed that there is a decent number of "beer enthusiasts". Just curious what everybody's favorites are: My Top Three 1. Hop Devil (Victory Brewing) 2. Rugged Trail Nut Brown Ale (Troegs) 3. Christmas Ale (Anchor)
  11. The lunch break picture looks disturbingly similar to my desk at 12pm EST.
  12. The Parking Lot Tram: The uncredited workhorse of the Disneyland resort. You take visitors from the largest parking lot on earth to the front door of Disneyland and back again. You aren't the picture of glamour and most wouldn't even think you provide any sort of excitment, but without you no fun could be had at all. You don't mean to, but you seem often sour. You get little respect and sometimes get losts of scorn, but yet you are faithful and eager to please. People need you and you need them. Your simpleness is the perfect backdrop to showcase the eager smiles of children riding you for their first time to the Happiest Place on Earth.
  13. Dave, I am guessing that you haven't seen this one yet. Manowar + Coasters http://www.coasterfanatics.com/sec_videos/video_detail.asp?id=2
  14. Well everybody, I am back in good old Weirton, WV and here is the final update from my last night in Myrtle Beach, SC. After a day at the beach we headed to North Myrtle where a stop at Hooters would become our dining event of the evening. Catrina and Ang demonstrate that they love Hooters just as much as the guys! Here is a picture of me with the world's smallest chicken wing. I am not making this up .... it was actually on my plate. After our meal, Brandon and I learned a neat trick. If you walk to the front and just start clapping your hands, a buch of "Hooters" girls will come up for a picture. Next we headed further north to the Myrtle Beach Grand Prix. This is a shot of us waiting for the "Indy" cars. As you can see, helmets are optional on the "Grand Prix" track. After a short wait, I am ready to take my cart out on the track. Brandon gives the op his ticket for his second lap. A shot of me waiting for the green light to start my first lap. These carts were a lot of fun and much faster than I expected. If want to see how you measure up, my best time was around 48.5 Seconds. Not quite the greatest picture in the world, but here is a shot of that "only one in America" flat-ride thingy. I didn't whore it up too bad (passed on the wacky worm credit), but I did have to get a lap on the Crazy Mouse. At $4.50 a ride, this will be our only lap of the evening. #207. Cha-Ching! After the Grand Prix, we headed back to "Broadway" because Ang wanted to ceck something at the Speedpark and Catrina wanted to pick up some Hard Rock gifts. I figured this would be a good opportunity to demonstrate my super-human strength by balancing Rusty Wallace's #2 Car above my head. My last picture of the trip. Thanks to everybody for reading.
  15. If anybody is in desperate need of work in the "waterpark" area, it is Idlewild. Their waterpark was great when it opened but has become pretty outdated over the years.
  16. I am totally embarassed to admit it, but Robb's Japan video has totally got me hooked on Toxic (Britney Spears)
  17. At least it wasn't a New England Patriots logo // here we go!
  18. Well it has been a couple days with no updates, so I figured I would log in and drop a quick line and a couple new photos. Sunday was a "No Coaster" day at we started out our day with a few hours at the beach before heading to "Broadway" for dinner and a little nightlife. Here we are at Broadway at the beach. We had dinner at "Liberty" which is a brewery/restaurant. I had the pale ale and it was pretty much just a cheap BASS rip-off. I never pass up an opportunity to get my picture next to a big pile of malt. After Liberty it was off to Fat Tuesdays for some $1 Rolling Rocks before ... ... heading to Crocodile Rocks. Crocodile rocks is a Dueling Piano bars and is definately a fun place to spend the evening. They have two "Two Player" teams that spend all night performing sing-a-longs and requests. They even have mirrors set up so you can see the piano players doing their thing. Apart from the piano playing, the performers at Crocodile Rocks have a great sense of humor and do the funniest toasts. Monday it was back to the beach. Don't I just make a terrific beach bum. Monday also meant more coasters as I headed to Family Kingdom while everybody else was getting ready for dinner. I couldn't believe how great the Swamp Fox PTCs looked. These things like as good as the Racer's (Kennywood) and they were completely rebuilt this year. Welcome the the Swamp Fox. The 8th highest rated wooden coaster in the United States. WTF! I had heard it from a couple different people, but I couldn't believe till I saw it. I have been on elevators that dropped faster than this tower. I don't know how Family Kingdom keeps Swap Fox in such great condition. The money is definataly not "Rolling in" at this park. The first drop gives some pretty good action in the back seat. Actually the whole ride is much better in the back. Turnaround This "packed" train climbs the lifthill On my way over to Family Kingdom I noticed something that really caught me by suprise. The Hurricane was running! I guess they finished that "2 week maintenance" a little early Overall the Hurricane is not completely awful, but the bottom of the first drop is one of the most evil moments I have encountered on any coaster. Here is the lifthill that is situated along the shore-side of the ride. The Hurricane uses Gerstlaurer trains and overall the tracking is pretty decent. When I rode it for the first time, I was wondering what everybody was talking about as I went down the first drop. When the train hit the bottom of the first drop, it started to jack hammer harder than anything I had ever rode (including SOB). It is a shame because the laterals through the turns are actually pretty good. Another evening gets started with a great meal from one of the local restaurants. Our wait for dinner was much longer than the coasters I hit today. Catrina and Ang pose for a picture while we wait to get into the Kwey West Grill. More pics to come including The Myrtle Beach Grand Prix.
  19. If J2 is running anywhere near what it was doing at the end of last season, it is definately "not to be missed" Try to get on it late!
  20. I just wanted to add a post to thank your friend for not wearing his Patriots jersey. Tell him I said thanks.
