I have only been there once, so I am hardly an expert on the subject, but this was my take: We arrived at opening Rode - Superman 2x (Top Tier Steel Hyper) - Viper 2x (better than your average arrow looper) - SLC (better than your average SLC) - Predator (big pile of suck) - Log Jammer (dirty water) - Boomerang (it's a boomerang) - Superman 2x Left in after about 3hrs in the park We then drove to Waldameer (Credit Whoring in mind) and ended up staying there twice as long.

If you buy a $10,000 Rock-O-Plane you better believe that it won't be able to run "out-of-the-box". It will need a lot of maintenance. You will have to have custom pieces fabricated because they haven't sold parts for them in years. Once you start putting "Custom" parts on it, the insurance company is gonna be all over you. Now you got a $50-60,000 Rock-O-Plane and your insurance premiums have already doubled. // understands why there isn't too many Knoebels and Kennywoods around

Interesting. Actually my Avatar is unrelated to the whole "Slayer" incident. Instead it is a new thing I am trying where I will change my Avatar to compliment something funny I see on TPR. Kind of like an "Award of Recognition". Congrats on being the first recipient.. With that said ....... SLAYER!

I will second that. Carowinds is a very enjoyable park. I have not been there since they "stole" the flyers, but I have rode them at PKI and they are without a doubt in the top 3 in the world. As Jonathan said, the B&M is one of the best Inverts out there.

Don't save the "ghoster" for the kiddies. It is the only good woodie left. Wilde Beast is uneventful and MCMB is a spoiled coaster. I do agree on the Top Gun though. It is the worse SLC I have been on to date, and people line up hours for it.

Yep. There are cheap crappy ones out there, but the better ones are more expensive that you would guess. Also, you still have to find something to feed it into. That means you have to either purchase a compatible camera or get a stand-alone recorder.
