I pretty sure that this is NOT the Dorney coaster. The picture is just there for reference. My guess is that they used it for tradeshows or similar and they are now getting rid of it. Hence the "Sorta Used" description.

While I think that the season pass price is too low, it is actually pretty easy to cut down on the "Baby sitting" thing without even changing the price. Just do like Lake Winnie and Kennywood and require guests under 18 to have an adult with them. Problem solved.

^ I also belong to that "Twister is Underated" sect, but there are others. At PPP you can always find about a dozen people that can't get enough of it. At it's best (which is usually night in late season), that thing is just flat out insane. The Air-Turn-Dive jack move right before the helix is amazing when the ride is running on all cylinders.

Funny you should mention that. Thursday are "pool league" night with my beer loving buddies (Search 'Beer Fest' for explanation). John got a German tap for christmas and the current keg (well one of them) is Spaten. Had a nice tall glass before going down to the bar. // Does Soren approve?

Dave and I went during Solace 2004 and I found it to be a nice little kids park. It looked like they were doing pretty good with the whole Birthday Party scene they had going. Guess in the end that it just wasn't worth the work. Most of all, I will miss Ted the Train Operator! // Now that the park is closing, I would like to boast the Freeway Coaster to be a top ten caliber ride!
