  1. I kind of like the one park idea and it will make it easy for you to gather clips. The raw footage should have some "human" footage. It will be interesting to see what kind of funny out of context moments you can put the people in.
  2. Cut her some slack. She is probably just worried that he will end up looking like this:
  3. I vote for about 10-15 minutes of RAW footage (hopefully donated by Robb and Elissa to simplify the process). If there is only 6-7 minutes, I think a lot of the videos may look similar. This way most of the videos will use some different clips. It may be best to limit the raw footage to 1 or 2 parks.

  5. ^ That is funny, cause it popped in my head yesterday also. We really need to do this! It is kind of like a Video Editing version of the Aristocrats.
  6. I really hope that it does not come to that. Geauga Lake is a fairly strong park with close proximity to Cleveland and one of the few places that many local families travel too. I think their construction of the new waterpark is evidence alone that they plan to root themselves at that location. The park has a great history and doesn't really belong in the same category as Astroworld. Geauga lake is somewhere around 120 years old! It has roots as a traditional Amusement Park. What I really want to see is Cedar Fair use it as an experiment. Just take a page from the Holiday World book. Get the woodies in tip top shape, offer free parking and raft rental and see if it actually turns it around. You just might find that people will come back if given the reason. This isn't to say that the park is BAD. They have made great improvements over the last two years and ride operations are better than they have been in 10+ years. It is just that the place could be really special.
  7. I hear that Clair is pretty good at motivating people If you plan on working for GCII, you better not be afraid to sweat.
  8. We just purchased our tickets and are "sure-things" for the December 4th event.
  9. Watched and added my comments. Excellent as always. // Why the hell am I flapping my arms
  10. Came through to both my @coasterfanatics.com and @gmail.com address fine.
  11. ^ I just had my first Weyerbacher Christmas Ale for the year and it too was a little bit on the dissapointing side. Must be bad missletoe or something this year.
  12. I love the Food and Wine Festival, but haven't been able to get back to it for a couple years. My only beef is, why is Lowenbrau the only beer available for sample in Germany!
  13. Oh snap. The Christmas Anchor is out! Running to PA to look for it!
  14. Now we have a productive discussion. Stick around. Trust me. I know where to draw the line.
  15. ^ Yes. And that is CanobieFan. A member of these here boards.
  16. ^ They typically like to keep their long hours on Saturdays with the exception of "Night of Joy". It would be double-plus good to meet you two!
  17. I voted somewhat favorable because I am all about the progress baby! // finally a proper use of the poll feature
  18. ^ Yes You can enter the park between 4-6pm (and get a wristband) and after 7pm. At 6pm, the park closes to everybody but party goers. The event runs till Midnight.
  19. ^ How could "Clean Safe Fun" hurt a company. You almost make it sound like a bad thing. Attendance isn't everything. Ask Astroworld. They had attendance out the wazoo and it still didn't produce better profits. The season pass prices are now so low that any Six Flags Park with public transportation is crap. People through the gates no longer means more profit. I do think that all forms of business follow the same basic blueprint for success, and saying that Sports Entertainment is completely different than family entertainment is a stretch. I guess anyone that doesn't have any first hand experience with Theme Parks should just stay away. I mean that Walt Disney guy was an animation mogul. What ever made him think he could build a world-wide theme park empire.
  20. This thread is back from the dead .... AGAIN!
  21. ^ That is surprising especially coming from someone in the area. If there were any detractors from Snyder taking over I would expect them to be the people who live in the DC area. Mostly because of the price increases at FedEx Field. But then again ... you a Ravens Fan
  22. I promise. At least on the first Sunday in December.
  23. Curious if anyone was planning on heading to this event this year. If so, post your dates! Maybe we can meetup along the way. Catrina and I will be attending on December 4th
