When it comes to DV Cams. You pretty much get what you pay for. I would at least bring your budget up to the $400-500 range if you want to get something worthwhile.

Men in Black most certainly has a "Sad and Pathetic" line.

Most Improved Theme Park?...
CoasterFanatic replied to Movieguy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Not to be a total homer, but I really like what Kennywood has done post 90. Here are some examples: Take the world record with Steel Phantom. No other traditional park will probably ever claim that again. Completely rebuild Noah's Ark from the ground up. At most parks, it would have been history. Addition of Lost Kennywood. Over the past decade, rides like Exterminator, Phantom Flyers, Tristar, Pittsburg Plunge and Pitfall have been added. EDIT: How could I forget about Phantom's Revenge! Renewed maintenance program. In the mid 80's, some of Kennywood's woodies weren't looking nearly as good as they are now. Complete Carousel renovation from the ground up. Addition of Phantom Fright Nights. Brand new entrance and enhanced facilities. I am sure there are a bunch more, but this all I can think of at the moment. // Suprised nobody has mentioned Holiday World yet. Most people didn't even know that place existed in 1990. -

Gay Day @ Cedar Point
CoasterFanatic replied to BrownStreak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Good way to start out the thread. You tell us to not turn this thread into a "gay-bashing" thread and then you turn around and make a broad generalization on religion. Anyway ... this post might be better under the calendar if you are trying to meet up with some other members. -

Pretty sure that it was actually Derek's car. -
Firewire captures in real time. I don't know any other way it would work. For compression, use something like TMPEG. It is less fluff and will get you down to where you need to be in no time.

Whether we back their decisions or not is of no importance. They are our elected representatives. I quit apologizing for being an American a long time ago. If they want to burn our flags, then let them. It is their right. With that said, I support a hard stance against North Korea. One needs not dig too far into the history books to figure that one out. KJI is more than "ronery". He is a complete idiot.

They will in June Anyway, if you want to look at a company that made a fortune selling land around Orlando, just take a look at Lockheed Martin. They owned most the land from Disney to Downtown Orlando and sold it in small parcels. Each one for more money than the last. International Drive and Universal Studios are almost completely built on former Lockheed land. If I remember correctly, Universal is built on what used to essentially be a "dump".

What's Your Beer Personality?
CoasterFanatic replied to PhishyBrewer's topic in Random, Random, Random
Since my Grandfather is no longer with us, I will take the test for him. You Are Hamm's You like to shop for beer at the Piggly Wiggly after a hard day of buying Izod shirts at the local Goodwill. Your tastes are refined from years of drinking, but you still can't bring yourself to pay more than $3 for a six-pack. Your a classic and nothing states this better than a beer that even your grandkids won't swipe. What's Your Beer Personality? http://www.blogthings.com/whatsyourbeerpersonalityquiz/ -

Go figure. You Are Guinness You know beer well, and you'll only drink the best beers in the world. Watered down beers disgust you, as do the people who drink them. When you drink, you tend to become a bit of a know it all - especially about subjects you don't know well. But your friends tolerate your drunken ways, because you introduce them to the best beers around. -
I used to go cheap on Orlando hotels, but I have given up on that after being burned too many times. Last time, we stayed at the Hampton Inn right across the street from the Kirkman entrance and it was great. If I remember correctly, it was in the $80/night range, but you might get a better price if you book in advance. Whatever you do, check out the reviews on Travelocity and TripAdvisor before booking anything. there is some real crap out there.
