  1. Heres what the ride looks like without the themeing. This is Xpress from Walibi World, a clone of that ride. http://www.rcdb.com/ig769.htm
  2. Thats horribly funny that they had the footer off by that much. Oh well, glad it was fixed. It just still didnt look like that piece was set the first time round.
  3. Silver Bullet, Dueling Dragons Fire AND Ice. (Fire wingover and Ice Cobra Roll) Other one could be anything, no real identity mark. Other than its a Dive loop which makes it one of like...alot. Im diggin the Combine from HL2 too. (well, maybe not but it looks like one of them)
  4. I think the double helix would for me make it better than all the other rides Disney has. I love helicies and that thing looks quite sweet. Plus I also enjoy detailed themeing. Eye candy doesnt make a ride better tech wise but can make it more enjoyable. I look forward to whenever I find myself in Disney again...
  5. If your legs are bent that requires you to use more effort yourself. Ideally you want to just stand straight up with legs locked. With the joints locked the forces will be better taken through your legs and you wont feel much. Ive never had issues with my legs or crotchel region. I just knew right away - its not made to sit on, dont sit on it. But my head...oh my poor ears and head... I think Ive lost brain cells to that ride. If so, I want them back! Ive ridden Arrows that were more comfortable, even though they jabbed harder my head didnt thwack and vibrate against those obnoxiously huge restraints.
  6. Boxer Briefs and a white t-shirt. Geez, I seem like the exhibitionist in the group.
  7. LOL @ the bribe. Isnt this the same night as Holiday Worlds shindig? Nope, its the day after. DANG!! Maybe I can pull this off...would be costly but 3 straight nights of ERT with 3 CCI's and one GCI...?!@#!
  8. I bet itll have floater in it. Its VERY flat. Much like Hydra, Silver Bullet and if you havent noticed, Patriot. It seems like theyve opted for these much more elongated and gradual parabolas rather than the more pointed previous versions of yesteryear. If you compare those ZeroG's with any normal ones from the past youll see huge differences. The parabola itself is much flatter giving you more time at Zero G and taken at a faster speed. But that also means it has to be lower too. But I really think you will see some great floater with some great rotation.
  9. You probably cause all these crashes with your ridiculous amount of bandwidth and hits and this daily backup deal. Think about the data being poured through because of this baby! Glad to be back up.
  10. ^^^^I have tried riding with my head back...I call tht defensive riding. It still doesnt work for me. I just avoid the ride at all costs
  11. Yea, and I thought Talon rode better than Raptor when I was there this year as well. Maybe Im just far too used to Raptor and something different was in the cards, but I had just ridden BTR the day before and found more than a couple spots on Talon to reach the magniture of BTR. Patriot has alot of uniquness. The loop is a bit round for B&M and it just looks different - especially that zero g. Oh and to whomever said its on flat land... HA! Have you looked at any of the photos? Theres a pretty good undjulation in the land. Ive already tried recreating it in NL and its going to take some doing to figure out all the heights and drops for each element since the land drops off pretty nicely. Heck the loops exit was tightened because of the land. Come on Viking, you should know better
  12. 22 Years old, 6'0. With full or empty train it vibrates more than the Blue Streak and for me, defense or offensive riding doesnt stop me from coming off with very sore ears. It someone has the magic code to riding without hitting your head on at least 4-5 spots, let me know. Otherwise, Ill just take pictures from now on. I think 6 years of torture on that is enough for me. It actually rides better with NO trims too BTW. I also am a wooden coaster fanatic so pain in many forms isnt much of an issue. Infact, I have a pretty high pain tolerance to alot of things. I just dont enjoy a ride that has incredibly smooth design flawed by horrible train design. Restraints reach much too high and the trains vibrate something fierce.
  13. Cant believe a pretty girl like you would say that. Unless you enjoy the ensuing hooting and hollering
  14. Actually, TTD does give more air than MF imo. The drop on MF isnt enough to do it for me. Ive got who knows how many rides on it since its my home park. I even got to ride it before Media Day the year it opened. Sure it was good and fun the first few years but its somewhat boring. I can go 70-75 legally in my car which would be the average speed of MF. Plus going over train tracks at 40mph will give me more airtime than on any other part of MF besides the drop. 15. Thanks to a German Exchange student Ive had the Lion cereal, the gummies and most of the chocolate. Milka is GOOD. Very similar to Hersheys except far smoother. Great package.
  16. On: Relevant Magazine Podcast Next: Relient K - Apathetic Way to Be
  17. ^Dont rub it in. I had a friend let me test his 2.5 RS and it was NUTS. That WRX suspension is insanely tight and edgy and the near WRX motor (only missing the turbo) was extremely fun. Some day...some day. Heck, Im only 22. I got some time.
  18. I can bet you that Ka was in design even before that. Remember, Dragster was in "design" for 4 years including build time. I would bet that KK started design 1 year or so after TTD started design. These things do take time to design, you just dont plop one down in a years time. So yes, I bet KK was in the plans before but the public didnt know. Intamin knew and Im sure they told them "hey, we think this would fit perfectly in this spot" but without telling them they were designing a larger one at the time. At any rate it doesnt matter. It will be 10 times better than KK ever could or will be.
  19. I dont think its going anywhere. CF makes enough money annually that if they can start breaking even they will keep it just to keep it and monopolize the area. You guys are ker-ray-zee.
  20. Mt. Everest! Duh! But out of those 3...probably Space.
  21. I totally want an Impreza right now...grr for insurance on that fast little car.
  22. Which will piss people off and while you may get those visitors money that time, they WONT be return visitors if they arent SP holders. So in the long run you get screwed.
  23. ^LOL Actually, its a bit more linear. Not as curvy as previous models but Im not a huge Jeep fan. If any, the Liberty and the Commando. Cause...I like Liberty...and I like to go Commando.
  24. ^^ Bedrooms and living rooms across the world will be full of people swinging and flailing as Nintendo users try to do actions on their games. Will look quite silly. Its a cool concept, but, may just be that.
