Well, but USC has been doing it for awhile. Even though they do play 4 ranked teams and 10 bowl eligible, they are consistantly the best in that region. You never hear of any other team even being a threat to the Conference, just their Title hopes. They are a good team, just, IMO, they arent where the BCS has had em and not as good as they seem. Alot of inexperience on that team. Obviously thats why they lost to two, not so good unranked teams.

BTW Jew - You cant look at their schedule now and use the rankings for the teams NOW, you have to use the ranking they had when they played. (Upon checking, Im not even sure where you got those numbers. I used ESPN and it showed completely different numbers) So, really, they played the #19 Nebraska, #21 Oregon, #17 Cal and #6 Notre Dame. To further that, look at where those teams ended up. Nebraska ended up #20, Oregon fell out, Cal went down to #18 and Notre Dame ended up #10. So all of the people you played just got even worse. Plus, the BCS is completely slanted to the West Coast. Doesnt matter anyways, they lost to their SECOND unranked team. How good are they again?

The people who do just want to make money to make a living, support their family and do good work are fine. They make up the minority though it seems. Theres an age group where it seems most of the Americans work pretty hard, then another where it tapers off to trying to get every last penny for nothing and then another where they dont do ANY work and expect to get paid as much as the guy who works his butt off every day.

I wonder if Villains retracking is going to have a trim added to first drop. I hope not. I rode in May and in August - it didnt need a retrack. I see it as preventative maintenance. If youve ridden, you would know that it will age alot faster. PTC's are VERY mean to tracking, dont care if you are GCI (Wildcat and Gwazi). So it matters not. Im betting that HW saw a few small problems and instead of BEING like CF or SF and waiting 5 years, why not do some quick retracking? Plus, I dont think it was that much work. It was like 1100ft of track in just 7 weeks. Thats pretty quick. It seemed to take alot longer to retrack parts of Raven over last winter and it didnt seem like nearly 750ft of track. It was basically just the turn over the lake and the bottom of the 5th drop. Plus, Im sure itll wear better and better each year. That original wood took a BEATING that first year. Each year the cars and other parts of the track break in, itll wear better and better. But its no ones fault but the PTC's.

I never said the greed didnt infest all areas of work. I just know because Im an employee at one job right now and a supervisor at another. I see both ends of the spectrum at the same time and its all the same among all ranks. But in general, compared to other nations, Americans dont grasp the concept of doing their best for good (not outrageous) pay. Americans IMO think, for some odd reason, that they deserve more or are somehow better people or a better country than everyone else and thus deserve more money, more of basically everything. Which, of course, doesnt work.

This would be a true statement, assume all American work is good quality and at a good price but its not. Americans are completely opposite of China and the Asian areas in this concept. They will do tons of work for nothing and with little quality where "most" Americans will only do whats required and at the same time require insane benefits, 400 bucks an hour and complain every 4 seconds about it. IF, and I mean if, Americans did their jobs without whining, at a reasonable pay and did the best they could (which is what capitalism is all about) then wed be set. But Americans are GREEDY and SELFISH. Thus, Americans themselves (and their Unions) have completely drained businesses of all their assets and profits. Dont get me wrong, I know plenty of GOOD, harrdworking union employees but they are few and far between these days. And it only gets worse because the generation of kids growing up right now are EXTREMELY spoiled and cant do a lick of work in comparison to their parents. Perfect example is the motor industry. Why does it cost so much? American cars dont last nearly as long as foreign cars. But yet, foreign cars last longer, run harder and run cleaner. wtf? Its because the people overseas (though ALOT of the larger companies employ American workers in AMERICAN factories so dont complain) work harder for a little less and reap in benefits such as long term stability because their company isnt in trouble and they probably gets lots of other perks. Our systems are so screwed up. I wish I could believe that Americans work better, harder and smarter but we dont. If we did, we wouldnt be in the hole that we are.

I love turkey, but have no clue how to cook a whole one. I had one from 3 years ago sit in a freezer for dang near 8 months. Thats wasted food. Its something like an 8-10lb one so its a really nice size. Most of the people at my work complain - thinking they should get alot more but really its a nice gesture that they dont have to do. That and like said, theres alot of needy people who work alot for very little and couldnt even dream of gettin a full meal. I just hope you werent being sarcastic. I wasnt going to say anything unless someone asked...

What the HECK was wrong with the PTC's? Are they MORONS?! Stampida looks to be going from a cool coaster to a pile-o-junk. Those trains look horrible. Intamins would still be bad because it doesnt have enough ejector air (if any) to justify a bar that locks down so tight too.

I think the lights were more for the restraints than the actual moving of the mechinism. Vekoma originally designed the ride so that when you went to the lift hill, you would be still seated up. But, as you hit the curve to go up the hill (not the flat curve, the angle up) it would angle down at the SAME rate as the train went up. Thus, you would never feel like you were going down and youd seemlessly match the angle of the hill. However, that would have required too much computer work and too many moving parts doing too much and was opted to have it go up and down in AND around the station. On a more park related note - saddens me. I didnt get to GL this year, but I was super busy. I always loved to wait till it opened from being down and getting a quick ride while people ran over to it. Its a great ride.

Was going to say this over at CS till I had a program side track me. While that could be true, the same will be with the PS3. All it offers are larger areas to code and more and better graphics. And even though HDTV prices are dropping and more and more people can see it the way its meant, once you see it for a little while, its all the same. When I first saw Forza Motorsports and Oblivion on HDTV, I was like OMG!! But now that Ive seen GOW, its nothing new - just cooler gameplay. Which is all you can do. The novelty of the graphics will soon wear off because the only improvements the PS3 has are larger areas to include but youve always been able to do that just with smarter coding techniques. The Wii IMO does something so innovative that for years it wont get old. Because there will be avenues and games that havent been tapped for that type of interactive gameplay and down the road their next system will ONLY need a graphical update which is easy - do like Sony and just pour money into high tech components. Hopefully it wont cost the Arm and Leg youd NEED to play the Wii.

Here at my Meijers (where I work - super store) they have been in here waiting for the full 24 hours so that suprises me. We only had 6 PS3's and we have 6 Wii's. I want a Nintendo...after what Ive seen on Youtube...dang.

Theres already 15 people at the store I work at. We will only have 10 or less. Sooo...bloodshed I sense. Such a waste of money. Unless youve got a 40+inch tv WITH 1080P - its useless. You are paying all that money to get graphics no better than the 360 because of the lack of 1080P support on your TV. If you do have a 1080P tv, either you are very in debt, or, you live for electronics. I just cant see paying all that money. You wont even begin to see the potential released in it for a year or two. At least the guys at my store were smart. We are open 24 hours. Best Buy isnt. And right now in the Northwest Ohio area, its like 40 degrees and RAINING. HAHAHAHAHA to anyyone waiting outside. Its not worth it!\ I just saw a long montage for the Wii...I think Im sold. Not for awhile, but, the sword play, shooting, fishing, ping pong, etc. SOO much interactivity. PS3 is dead.
