Well Shane this theme will be over for me this Sunday as I post my final nail in the coffin (hint hint) to the SCAREadise series for this year. I hope you all have enjoyed this special theme. It looks like the Six Flags Demon had a running waterfall. Did the Cali version also have it? It looks like it may have but that it's just turned off.

Kudos to SFMM and the GCI dudes! I can't imagine people complaining about the length. It's actually longer than Raven, which is one of my favorites because it does what it needs to do and packs a punch without being all drawn out. It's not the size of the wand but how you wave it. This wll be a good and FUN ride. I for one can't wait to get terminated.

^ Any and all postcards featuring scarily painted color schemes on coasters or in parks in general are perfect for this series. The more hideous and horrifying the better! ^^ Too funny about the Texas Giant card. Cackles!

Now that's my kind of fair (minus the drop tower price). I've always wanted to visit Pew-Al-Up ever since I learned of its existence, and these pics certainly don't disappoint. It totally looks like my kind of fun. Thanks for sharing these with us Shane.

CHILLING! I was just thinking last night how awesome it would be for an Alpengeist card to be in the SCAREadise series, and how I wish I had a card from it. Awesome addition! Matteocrepaldi...I'm looking forward to seeing those Gardaland cards!

With all these coaster announcements this week, Scandinavia is turning into the new Dubai. This ride looks fun if not exactly super thrilling.

Love the font used for the Black Widow logo signage. It's just so innocuously 1950's martini lounge looking to me and not at all what I would normally associate with a deadly poisonous spider. Was the sign neon or did it light up somehow?

Shane that's pure GOLD right there. LNM's first drop is still to this day one of my favs anywhere. I forget exactly what used to be in the lair back when I rode it as a youngster, but I seem to remember strobes, fog and a LNM character that would light up. I was sadly disappointed riding it again 3 years ago when the lair was just a dark helix. Why did they take that cool stuff out?

I can see the pics fine. One of these days I've got to get to Stricker's. I love the smaller parks where you can just enjoy yourself at a relaxed pace. Thanks for sharing.

Great card restoca. That's one coaster I never got to ride at SFKK since I didn't start going there until 2000. I did ride it at SFNE in 2005 though. Today I went on a little postcard hunt and was able to score a few cool old postcards from Worlds of Fun amongst others. Who would have thought the antique store a block from my house would hold such treasure?!

^^^ I rode The Rattler for my first time summer '07 and wow BORING! It's too bad all the venom has been sucked out of it. ^^ Give that man a Golden Ticket award! "Best Halloween Postcard" category...takes the cake no doubt, or would that be blood pudding? ^ Larry...great idea! Hopefully that will encourage others to share from their collections.
