  1. ^ Since I've never ridden one, I would have loved to try out that Waltzer. I suppose it might be a little too late now?
  2. ^ & ^^ & ^^^ You guys are killing me!!!!!
  3. I actually had some ideas I came up with for a McDonald's theme park last year. In a way I can't believe one hasn't already been built. If the mouse can, why not Ronald?!
  4. Buck 77 in Nashville.
  5. ^^ I like the idea of keeping the music theme and broadening it to be more appealing to all family members ala Opryland. I think to give it some local ties, the name should include Myrtle Beach. I am going to go ahead and call it now...Myrtle Beach Music World.
  6. Glad we got to visit here Peter. Orochi had no midcourse brakes on during our rides, so it was definitely more forceful in the second half than Raptor, and I liked it better too! Yes, the Togo Wildstorm flat ride should be saved as well as the WACKY reversing inside/outside log flume with the curved final drop. That flume is awesome! Still wondering too about that Intamin looking giant airplane ride which we never saw operating.
  7. But what about Six Flags Cuts? Will I still be able to get that Schwarzkopf makeover?
  8. Wow Bill incredible additions to this thread! That postcard set surely must be a prized part of your collection. Love the snow and downtown ones especially. By the way, how is this "Coaster"? It looks pretty sweet. Much thanks for sharing!
  9. Shane I am sure you have a box of Euro postcards stashed away in some dark remote corner of your attic waiting to be discovered!
  10. LOL crazyness!
  11. Sweet TR so far Divv. Looking forward to the rest of it...and some Doritos credit pictures!
  12. Mickey and Minnie say Happy Valentine's Day y'all! Cutest rodent couple ever!
  13. Hi Michael and welcome to TPR! I am honored to have your first forum posts in my postcard thread. You have some great postcards to share already...Thanks! For postcard image resizing, I downloaded and use a program called "Fast Image Resizer". It works great. Once you have scanned your postcard, you can drag the image over to the "Fast Image Resizer" and drop it into the program. It has many size options, but I usually use the 800x600 resolution size. Once you have the image resized and saved to your computer, then you can post it to TPR. Easy as that! You can download the free "Fast Image Resizer" here: http://adionsoft.net/fastimageresize/ Thanks again for the AWESOME postcards, and please share more!
  14. Techno Jump looks like a sick ride. I wonder how the hairtime is on it.
  15. Oh man I love Amazing Race and watch it everytime I get the chance. I had no idea it was about to start again, so thanks for the heads up! I'll reserve judgment on picking my fav team until I've actually seen the new episodes a few times.
  16. CF please hire new theming/paint consultants...like me and Shane!
  17. ^ I wonder if I would like it now since my tastes in flat rides have changed drastically from when I was a crispy tyke. I've not been to KW since about 1980, so hopefully I can give it a go one day and find out if I like it as an adult. Are there anymore of these flats at any other parks?
  18. Well I never knew state fairs had postcards. Cool! I remember being a little kid and riding that circular jumping ride in the foreground. It was one of my first flat rides, and I absolutely hated it! I pitched a fit and made the ride op let me off of it lol. Maybe I just rode a lemon of that ride, but it would jump the ramp and then slam really violently into the ground!
  19. I agree it's pretty and all, but it does not say Nighthawk to me. I would have preferred black and green or black and red.
  20. My first go on LW's planes back in 2004 was fairly unsuccessful. I found it really hard to control the plane and spent most of the ride upsidedown. Then I went back in 2007 and had an awesome ride. It seems like I remember LW refurbishing them that prior winter so maybe that helped. Anyway, this time around I caught on to the technique of shifting my body weight to get my plane spinning really fast. It can be an insane ride once you get the hang of it!
  21. Punxsutawney Phil says "6 more weeks of winter", and in honor of Phil's home state of Pennsylvania, here's a shadow-y postcard of one of the greatest woodies EVER - Phoenix! It's true. REPREZENT!
  22. I don't think I picked up any postcards from NSL on our rockin' 2007 TPR Japan tour, so this is awesome Shane. Arigato!
  23. I love mini golf and this is a really fun PTR. Thanks for sharing!
  24. This is an alarming trend. Boo to the CF!
