  1. The circle swing in the water reminds me of this playground contraption near me when I was a kid. It consisted of a circular wooden plank/platform suspended on wires about waist high from a central steel pole. You could spin and rock the whole thing as you sat or stood up on it. It was really quite awesome, but I'm sure many a kid's jaw was busted good on it!
  2. Shane this is really looking great. I love all the colors. When the slides go up I would be so tempted to take a sled for a test run!
  3. This was a great idea restoca! I hope we see another one of these "guess the postcard" games.
  4. ^^^^ Bill I think it's a gigantic insect of some sort attacking the beach goers! restoca...I will also guess Cedar Point since I doubt it's Dollywood.
  5. Incredibly sexy photos Hanno! I love the look of these trains. Thanks for sharing!
  6. With the Bizarro news coming out of New Jersey this past week, we probably won't be seeing this postcard in the garden state anymore. Unique cut-out card I love this graphic design!
  7. Awesome TR. It looks like Blue Fire could not have had a more perfect opening day! The new area looks amazing too. Thanks for sharing!
  8. ^^ Lol yes screw the animals...make way for more walking paths to insure our guests get their exercise!
  9. You may be right Larry. Efteling really seems to like to make their guests walk a long ways between attractions (talk about wearing me out!), and Gilroy is fairly compact.
  10. If there was any one park on the TPR Europe trip last summer that reminded me of Busch Gardens Williamsburg, it was Efteling. I could also see them operating Gilroy Gardens.
  11. WOW cycamps...really awesome cards! I especially like the Riverview card. That main entrance was quite iconic.
  12. We talked about this at work today and will probably try to go this weekend, but it will probably be Saturday I'm thinking at this point. Woohooo looking forward to seeing *THE* two KW's on the big screen together!
  13. This video gives you a little taste of how FUN going on a TPR trip can be and just how absolutely amazing Japan really is. WOW Robb, has it seriously already been almost two years?! I can't wait to go back with you guys again someday! I don't think it can ever be said enough times but THANKS for all the great times you and Elissa provide on the trips.
  14. Yes SFOG did have a dolphin show in the theater near the Lickskillet area entrance.
  15. Thanks for letting me borrow the keys Shane. Great invention I might add by the way, and I just might have to take you up on the offer again sometime!
  16. DUDE...where do I sign up?! That sounds too good to pass up. Oh and GREAT card Shane!
  17. When I asked Shane if he'd mind if I took the time travel machine out for a spin, he said, "Sure...go for it!". I cranked up the engine, and with many a sputter, clank, and whirrr, the machine came to life and immediately took me to a place deep in the heart of the southern USA, "The Land Of Screams And Dreams" circa 1978...
  18. Does anyone remember the 1980's Los Angeles band, The Long Ryders, and their almost hit song, ? No I didn't think so, but apparently they should've been at Holiday World... Please don't run over any pilgrims!
  19. I believe this is the same bobsled ride featured last night on Travel Channel's new show, "Bridget's Sexiest Beaches". It looked really cool!
  20. ^ CLASSIC! I'd totally forgotten that SM was getting a redo. Unfortunately I haven't been to WDW since about 1989, but I think that will all change once a neighboring park opens a certain new section.
  21. Have any Clawshun executives been seen at the park yet?
  22. ^ I LOVE to see parks lit up at night! Too often these days it seems that parks close before it gets really good and dark. ^^ Seriously Shawn. We need to plan another meetup...preferably on a TPR extravaganza! ^^^ Oh and how could I forget the swinging ship at Aqua Stadium Shane. It really was amazing looking...almost as if it were made out of crystal. Yes that one is the most gorgeous one I have ever seen as well.
