  1. Mike I'll look for you on ESPN. Hope you get a pic made with the winner!
  2. Robin, your photos are totally amazing! Thanks for capturing mine and Ivan's insane spinning moment on the Jukebox ride at Liseberg (probably my favorite flat ride experience of the whole trip). What a REALLY great day that was. Glad to hear you and Peter got to experience the awesomeness of Lynet. Looking forward to seeing you again!
  3. Wow I'd totally forgotten about the mini Intamin tower at Opryland. Very cool...thanks for sharing your photos!
  4. Great photos and good to hear you had a great time! Can you post a link to your photo TR? I think I may have missed it while I was on the TPR Scandi trip.
  5. ^ Love the YGG reference Chuck. Thanks for the pics too, and it was great seeing you in Scandi!
  6. Too pyschedelic?! Wow...those parents obviously did not grow up watching Sid and Marty Krofft shows in the 70's. I can't wait till Gabbaland gets built!
  7. Hey Robin...it was great meeting you! Glad we were able to hang out for a few days. Nice photos and looking forward to more!
  8. Hey everybody...I'm back from the big Scandi postcard shopping spree and had an amazingly great time on the trip. Thanks again Robb and Elissa! I stocked up on plenty of new cards to show everybody here. First though, if there ever was a time to share this next postcard, I suppose this would be it. Here's a little tribute: Colorado Adventure - The Michael Jackson Thrill Ride at Germany's Phantasialand.
  9. So how did your trip go? Hope you enjoyed your time here in Tennessee!
  10. Snacky snack snack SNACK SNACK SNACK! (sorry...I'm having post Scandi trip snackitis)
  11. Great photo TR Peter! See you in Scandi soon.
  12. ^^ Think of it like anything expensive you buy (car, computer, etc.) that comes with a warranty. I don't know about you, but if the seller of the item didn't offer that, I'd be less tempted to buy.
  13. I was able to buy a house back at the end of January, and have already received my tax credit. Barack rocks! One thing I would suggest is getting the seller to include at least a one year home warrenty to cover anything that breaks after you buy the house. My HVAC went out back in April, and I was really thankful I had the warrenty to cover costs! It was quite a process as I started looking for a house last August, found one by the end of October, started negotiating with the realtor and seller in November, and finally closed in January. It can be a painful ordeal but is totally worth it in the end. I wish you the best!
  14. Glad you enjoyed the POTC pics. I really did have fun playing it! I'd love to see those Shrek photos!
  15. This is the last postcard I'll be featuring for a couple of weeks while I'm away on the TPR Scandi postcard shopping extravaganza. Well I have to leave you with a bang right, so here is quite possibly the highlight from last summer's TPR Europe trip, Expedition GeForce, and a big shout out and thanks to Robb and Elissa for ALL they do to make these trips possible. Enjoy, and see you all here in the Paradise in a few weeks! The back of this card translates to EGF totally rocks!!! EGF in all its glorious Intaminess!
  16. In case anyone missed my Nashville Zoo and Bowling Photo TR, here are some shots of the POTC table I found when we went to the bowling alley. This was a pretty fun game with several neat toys like the sinking pirate ship, the storm spinner, and the treasure chest. Ahoy mateys! At least I can have a little bit of Disney in Nashvegas! An aerial shot! Pretty toys Exclusive TPR POV! Arrr...there be treasure in the corner
  17. ^ Oh thank you that reminds me I need to add some of the pinball shots to the pinball thread! Thanks for looking guys!
  18. Mmmmmm SCHWARZKOPF! Thanks Scott. I think I need to go change my underwear now.
  19. ^^ Hey Joel thanks for the video. Now don't let it break before the Scandi trip gets there!
  20. Thank you Shane for rescuing my thread from oblivion! Well regardless of the name, I really wish I'd visited Circus World/B&B...especially when it had that oh so sweet looking Schwarzkopf! By the way, what were the other "quality" HBJ theme parks?
  21. Summer travel season is basically upon us...$2.28 in Nashville.
  22. ^^ Scott I think they're still "unseen". Sorry I tried my best. ^ Eric the Grassmere Zoo is a vast improvement over the old zoo that used to be north of the city. It's definitely worth checking out. Thanks for reading y'all!
  23. ^^ Yes that's it Chuck! I couldn't remember the park location. So it's just kinda meh?
  24. Did that Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory dark ride ever get built and open? Seems like I remember hearing about people riding it, but I never hear anything about it now. Is it just bad, underrated, or never opened?
  25. After our amazing visit to the Nashville Zoo, we decided a good way to finish off the day was to go bowling, so off to Pla-Mor Lanes we went. I pretty much am the world's greatest gutter ball bowler, and today was no exception although I started out pretty good. Oh well enough of my blabbing and on to the photos. Thanks for checking out my very first ever photo TR on TPR! Thanks for a great time Pla-Mor Lanes, and when in Nashville everyone from TPR must visit here! Future proud parents! Josh is more comfortable with the size of these balls. We finished bowling, but before we left we found this exclusive first for TPR...a POTC pinball machine! I was VERY proud of my 60 points. Is there really anything better than bowling alley food? The cuisine at Pla-Mor Lanes has been ranked tops in the world, and this picture shows why! We rejoiced at their demise by eating these fries. I really should be a rapper. It was ok because this Pla-Mor Lanes employee sucked them up - tiara, prom dress and bowling alley couture - into this giant machine. What the...we had to pause so these high school prom attendees could walk through the middle of our game. I am sure that Chris is quite jealous of her tiara! About this time the gutters all started trembling in fear. Boogie down Mayor B! Emily's brother, Jeff, shows us how to "get 'er done" with his big blue ball. Josh rocks the almost strike. See?! STRIKE!!! One would never guess that Emily is 3 months preggo! This is how you do it with a big blue ball. Josh is very stoked about his big blue ball. I've got a big orange ball. Trekkie fanboys rejoice! Josh takes control of the Starship Enterprise. Emily is multi-talented and models the bowling shoes for TPR. If I could do this I'd never leave the house. This bowling alley theming is only rivaled by Disney! Pla-mor Lanes has a very elaborate sign.
