  1. While that is potentially true, it would really stink for Six Flags if their brand new coaster was automatically branded a bad ride just because it's wooden! So I hope that the general public figures it out so that Six Flags can have an across the board winner - granted I think good word of mouth should fix that.
  2. ^ But wouldn't Disney say that even though they were eliminating the permanent position that there would still be a Cast Member with the ability to delete offensive pictures? At least that would put a positive spin on the story. Seeing as they said nothing about other Cast Members having the ability to do so, I am going to assume that there is no way for these pictures to be removed from the screen until they are bumped. And if there is, it most likely will not be utilized.
  3. Did I read this wrong, or aren't they removing the "deleted naughty pictures" post? Because that would take this from a 0% chance of a picture appearing to 100% of it showing up, right? Or am I reading this wrong?
  4. Why are you guys even worried about figuring this out? It's not like anyone asks for an explanation as to why the Batcave has an inverted coaster in it, or why Superman's ice fortress needs a 400 foot escape tower. Six Flags story telling theming has always been half hearted and rarely extends onto the actual ride. It's a wooden coaster with some Terminator props in the line. Because some of us have a differing opinion from the "Terminator + Wood Coaster = Doesn't work" crowd. I don't see what's wrong with trying to explain a contrasting point of view.
  5. I don't think each individual car's "front" has to have a stellar look because when you see them all hooked together you won't really be looking at each individual car. I'm interested to see how they do the front car... But these look really nice thus far!
  6. ^ Yeah, that sounds about right. I'm going to go have some PB&J... Knott's Blackberry Jam.. Mmm.
  7. You must not have been reading the article very closely... It clearly says that they will be installing a Plutonium Chamber on the back of every train in order to increase the speed of the ride. Sure, it isn't conventional, but it's staying true to the theme of the ride.
  8. As long as they have those misters like on Tatsu for the first part of the queue, and then the air conditioned portion of the queue before the preshow.. I think that would be great!
  9. Great pictures, as always. It's fun watching this all come together.. I look forward to following it more in the coming months!
  10. "You're telling me you built a time machine... out of a zeppelin!?" Where's the fail button?
  11. I love that the queue appears to go under the structure of the ride on the way to the station (That's what that metal framing is - right?). Perhaps we'll even have a... I don't want to jinx it... Air conditioned queue!?
  12. Crap. I guess I won't be able to sell my idea for a true "dueling" coaster now. Oh well... haha!
  13. I cannot dispute that. However, unless they start putting coin slots on pouches, you won't see them at a Six Flags anytime soon.
  14. That's his point. Six Flags is passing off the lockers as a way to speed up dispatch times (and I'm sure they do) but I have to believe that their true reasoning is to make money.
  15. I've been following @RealShamu for a while now, and it hasn't gotten old yet! He's hilarious! It looks like you had a lot of fun, even whilst being teased by your woman, haha. Manta with no line FTW!
  16. It certainly makes me nervous on rides like Deja Vu, but I can't say I mind that... It's nice to be scared on a roller coaster every once in a while!
  17. Adding Yoda will completely erase Jar Jar from my mind if he does indeed become a part of this attraction.
  18. Yeah, I have things going on the first two days, so I'll be heading out there on Memorial Day as well. The ride looks fantastic, and it looks almost done, as far as actual track structure goes! I can't wait to ride this thing, especially if these tunnels end up happening.
  19. It seems that every day there's one bit of news that tries to silence the hysteria, but the next day, hour, minute, etc... People are freaking out again!
  20. Wow! That looks really great, I can only hope that the whole themed area looks so awesome .
  21. Everyone knows that chain link fences and concrete are VERY futuristic! Disney is just being true to the theme.
  22. Why not add it this year? Or if money is a problem just build it all next year? Unless they're going for a "Come ride the ALL-NEW Pilgrim's Plunge!" spin in a couple of years, which I suppose is understandable.
  23. Wow, that's really neat! I'm close to being a bigger Halloween Attraction enthusiast than a theme park enthusiast! Great pictures, and report, loved it!
