  1. ^ Yeah, get out your rifle, pin the shirt to a board, and have at it.
  2. ^ Magic Mountain now has attendants outside all the lockers, which should help decrease theft if that move is reciprocated across the country. Then again, if I had a dollar for everytime I heard "The locker won't open for me!" or "I lost my ticket!" ... :/.
  3. As of late, I have become a much bigger "Theme fan" than a "thrill fan". You know it's happening when you find yourself loving Revenge of the Mummy more than Maverick, and the Matterhorn more than Tatsu.
  4. I'll order mine as soon as I get my email! Looks like an awesome t-shirt .
  5. My friend and I just registered! I'm looking forward to my first TPR event .
  6. My friend is making sure he's free that day, then we'll be registering. Hopefully by tonight!
  7. Agreed. Although the ending is a little.. abrupt, hahah.
  8. Pardon me for breaking into this "Where is there room to build ___" discussion, but I saw something underneath Batman's station from the Flashpass yesterday that I thought was pretty neat! Is this common knowledge? I've never heard of it before, but it looks neat!
  9. You sir, are awesome. The friend I went with to Magic Mountain yesterday had, from the start, critiqued Terminator because "It's so short!" "It's going to be so slow!" "God that looks boring!" etc. But I am happy to say that he was promptly converted upon riding yesterday. I'm hopeful that most will have this same reaction.
  10. Here is my list, updated for Terminator. X2 was running quite poorly yesterday, so it's been dropped down on my list. 1. Revenge Of The Mummy 2. Maverick 3. Batman The Ride 4. Terminator Salvation: The Ride 5. Tatsu 6. X2 7. Blue Streak 8. Millennium Force 9. Deja Vu 10. The Matterhorn
  11. My personal favorite is: "This is our SALVATION!" Do they know that they're poking fun at themselves? Or is this ride just full of the greatest coincidences known to exist in the theme park world?
  12. ^ The irony there is just so awesome. I never heard one person complain about X2 being "The same old ride, just repainted" so it's quite funny to hear people complain about this on Terminator!
  13. ^ But most parks do allow a full choice in where the guest sits without any (in my experience) noticeable repercussions. Granted, this might just be a temporary thing until the employees can get used to the ride, etc.
  14. High schools around here (Fontana, Rancho, etc.) are getting back into school very early this year (I heard August 5th from someone?) so August should actually be a pretty decent month to go.
  15. Fifty percent of the membership of this site is based in Southern California, seriously, by the end of this weekend you will have seen enough generic Terminator pictures to last a life time. Thanks for the unique view at this great looking attraction!
  16. Here's my thought.. The people that don't like the idea of a pre-show are probably not the same kind of people that Six Flags is going for with a ride like this. I think that most families would be very happy with a ride like this because it makes them feel like they got "More bang for their buck" which is really what people are looking for these days. If nothing else, rides like this should definitely put Magic Mountain over Knott's as a family destination. It might take more than just Terminator, but it definitely looks like another step in the right direction.
  17. This list tends to shift around pretty frequently, but it's usually the same coasters in there. 1. Revenge Of The Mummy 2. X2 3. Maverick 4. Batman The Ride 5. Medusa 6. Riddler's Revenge 7. Deja Vu 8. Millennium Force 9. Blue Streak 10. Tatsu
  18. It makes me incredibly sad that I have not been on any of these. Next summer can not come soon enough...
  19. I generally prefer to see the coaster's name on the train because it feels more unique than slapping the park's name on every single ride. I especially love the front of the Millennium Flyer trains with the ride's logo on it. They just look so rad!
  20. Alright, thanks! I just want to ride it on Monday before my friend and I make our final decisions. Jake "Looks forward to riding The Governator's Budget Crisis: The Ride" Sundstrom
  21. Thanks for the update! Eh, Bizarro Superman just does not have the same sense of style that normal Superman would. Problem explained away. Done.
  22. When is the latest I can register by? I didn't see it in the first post, and I want to know how long I can procrastinate about it. Sounds like a great event!
