Took a day off of work to check out Fright Fest at Six Flags Great America. Going on Columbus Day is nice, as the crowds are not too bad, and its mostly families there. Today, I went there to check out the sights and sounds of Fright Fest. No coasters for me today. Anyway, onto the pictures. Double knife carrying Clown. Scares many. He burped at me after taking this picture. Pirates area in Yankee Harbor. Didn't see any pirates walking around on this day. The Mayor of Necropolis, Mayor Slayer. Axe carrying Pumpkin head. Im Dead Sexy... Dead Bride. Cool Gravedigger Ahh..here we are. Necropolis. City of the Dead. (Not very scary during the day, but oh well) Area 51... Area 51 has been moved to the back of the park now. Feels a little more cramped back here, and some of the bigger props are missing. Tinseltown Terror, new this year in Southwest Territory. Only problem with going during the day, no actors are really out. Love At First Fright.... Love At First Fright. Very popular stage show during Fright Fest. Fright Fest Decorations .... New to the Entrance Plaza this year is this Tree limb, pumpkin head guy. He stands up and welcomes all to Fright Fest. Cool addition. Signature Shot of Entrance Plaza with Blood Pool

SFGAM now has a ZERO (0) tolerance policy for smokers. She was probably not given a chance to move. If you break the rules, your out. Don't plead ignorance. Signs are on every garbage can, almost every employees shirt. PA announcements are made. If she or anyone else refuses to smoke in a designated area, they will be escorted out. The SFGAM PR person must not of been notified of the change. It is now a 0 tolerance policy on code of conduct issues.

Great pics. The park was not crowded at all on Sunday. Most rides were walk-on's as the water park took 1/3 of the crowd out of the dry park. Not a bad day at all. -

That que house for the Eagle is HUGE. When the ride opened over 25 years ago, the house was always full, longest line in the park. As other newer faster steel coasters were built, the lines got smaller and smaller, and that part of the que is never used. That actually used to be used to house a carnival at Sfgam over 25 years ago. Its a shame you didn't enjoy SfGam too much. It really is a nice clean park, with great employees.
