  1. Took a day off of work to check out Fright Fest at Six Flags Great America. Going on Columbus Day is nice, as the crowds are not too bad, and its mostly families there. Today, I went there to check out the sights and sounds of Fright Fest. No coasters for me today. Anyway, onto the pictures. Double knife carrying Clown. Scares many. He burped at me after taking this picture. Pirates area in Yankee Harbor. Didn't see any pirates walking around on this day. The Mayor of Necropolis, Mayor Slayer. Axe carrying Pumpkin head. Area 51 has been moved to the back of the park now. Feels a little more cramped back here, and some of the bigger props are missing. Tinseltown Terror, new this year in Southwest Territory. Only problem with going during the day, no actors are really out. Love At First Fright.... Love At First Fright. Very popular stage show during Fright Fest. Fright Fest Decorations .... New to the Entrance Plaza this year is this Tree limb, pumpkin head guy. He stands up and welcomes all to Fright Fest. Cool addition. Signature Shot of Entrance Plaza with Blood Pool
  2. I'll post a few puppy shots of Stitch, our pug/beagle mutt. Chewing. Stitch at 5 months Stitch at 4 months
  3. I really felt that way when I heard SFGam was getting the Wiggles World. I thought most little ones were not into the Wiggles, mostly because mine were not into them. I was wrong. And now my 4 year old daughter loves the Wiggles, all because of of SFGam.
  4. My Pug/Beagle mixed mutt, Stitch.
  5. SFGAM now has a ZERO (0) tolerance policy for smokers. She was probably not given a chance to move. If you break the rules, your out. Don't plead ignorance. Signs are on every garbage can, almost every employees shirt. PA announcements are made. If she or anyone else refuses to smoke in a designated area, they will be escorted out. The SFGAM PR person must not of been notified of the change. It is now a 0 tolerance policy on code of conduct issues.
  6. I seen it a few weeks ago on sfgamworld. Always enjoy all your Photo TR's!
  7. The pic of the lady on the chair, looking at you while your getting it on "froggy-style" is priceless.
  8. Ryan and Samantha pounding fists on LBGC! Love it
  9. "Look at all these tools waiting for Firehawk to open." LOL! I loved most of the quotes on your KI TR. Very, very funny!
  10. Wow! Awesome pics. The Single Rider T Shirt guy, the Left Hand grab, and the faces on those being launched are just awesome!
  11. Great TR! Really makes me want to go to IB.
  12. Great pics. The park was not crowded at all on Sunday. Most rides were walk-on's as the water park took 1/3 of the crowd out of the dry park. Not a bad day at all.
  13. Enjoying the report! Great captions. Love Barry's long lost relative!
  14. Chloe Alvey sounds cute...
  15. Sweet pics! The closeups and looks on some of the people's faces are just awesome.
  16. Great TR! DejaVu has been pretty decent THIS year. It has not had any major down time, and has been up in fact, most days. That said, even on days when its up and running, give it a few hours, and it will be down eventually.
  17. Not really a trip report, but heres some pics from my day. Took a half day from work and went to Six Flags Great America from 1pm-6pm on Columbus Day. Had a great day, enjoying all the Fright Fest stuff. No coasters on this day, but I did get to see the shows and just enjoyed the scenery. All pics posted here: Enjoy! Joe Big Pumpkin Guy welcomes you to the park Demon, themed for Fright Fest They even change the names of certain stores in the park Clown roaming around Orleans. Mayor Slayer. The Mayor of Necropolis, Great America's city of the dead. The Trolls. One of the highlights of Fright Fest. They guard the Troll Bridge! Witches welcome you to Hometown Square Fright Fest decorations around the reflection pond Random Area 51 themeing. Zombie inmate during the parade. Teen Wolf Clown during the parade. This guy roams around and yells at people with the big megaphone. Random Russian dude roaming around Area 51 in Zombie Jamborie parade. He is licking the Alien for the camera More cool Fright Fest decorations Necropolis, or basically the picnic grove with a haunted house that costs $8 bucks
  18. Great TR Derek. Haven't been to Sea World in ages, gotta add a day on next time, it looks like a fun day. Your pic of the Magic Carpets and the caption had me rolling!
  19. That que house for the Eagle is HUGE. When the ride opened over 25 years ago, the house was always full, longest line in the park. As other newer faster steel coasters were built, the lines got smaller and smaller, and that part of the que is never used. That actually used to be used to house a carnival at Sfgam over 25 years ago. Its a shame you didn't enjoy SfGam too much. It really is a nice clean park, with great employees.
