  1. I would imagine they would want all of the track installed so they can move all the cranes/construction equipment out for the time it's scheduled to be completed. It's much easier to push some dirt away then install sections of track. I'm really excited to see this unique new coaster in action. Sure it's not like Lotte World's but it still looks fun!
  2. 2 hours for a broken Nightmare at Asscrack Canyon or whatever it's called at The Great Escape in Lake George, NY. And it was just a stupid jet star... I'm glad those credit whoring days are over.
  3. My homepark, and workplace is open year round. Attractions close typically in the off season for scheduled maintenance. It's a small world, for example has been closed since January for a massive rehab but will open just in time for the holiday season. Haunted Mansion closes at the end of the summer when the season is dying down for its scheduled maintenance and yearly Nightmare Before Xmas theming. My ride never seems to get extensive refurbs but I'm sure one is on the way.
  4. So I guess that's it for the Medusa name too, seeing how it's going to be rethemed and all.
  5. ^ Thank you... For the love of god "quit your VINING" Stop being a bunch of girly men Terminate all negative discussion of the fact that you are getting an awesome new coaster That is all, sorry, I had to do it.
  6. I wish they actually made a Eurofighter like this. Nice work!
  7. I, for one, am very happy with how this kit turned out and will definately be getting the Phoenix, some expansion sets, and a floorless train ASAP. And lots of paint! Can't wait to see what else you guys have in store for us!
  8. Blue Sky Cellar is open and it's definately worth checking out. The Paradise Pier model is amazing, maybe that's just because I've always hated the "tent-like" look of the carousel and Screamin' but the model promises some much needed improvement.
  9. ^ It was the same mistake Disney made with Rocket Rods. A little banking would have allowed for a much better and most importantly, still existing ride.
  10. We have real fire over here at Indy too, it's been done at many attractions worldwide.
  11. I know this is a little vague but the announcement states: "When Transformers opens in Universal Studios Singapore in 2010, it will be the first of its kind in the world. We may see a surge of Transformers mania" I wouldn't be surprised if this ride DOES NOT use the same ride system Spiderman and Darkastle use. The announcement says HD 3D effects will be part of the ride but that doesn't mean Kuka providing some kind of ride system is out of the question... With Kuka and Universal teaming up for the Potter ride in Orlando, I'd say maybe there's still some kind of chance it will use robocoaster technology. What an opportunity to incorporate robotic ride technology!
  12. http://coasterdynamix.com/forum.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=1241 For any other CD builder on the site, they have finally released all the details on this new working model coaster. I think I might get one and turn it into a floorless model, the possibilities will be endless!
  13. No fair! I wanted a shift for one of our Halloween events but so far, nothing on the schedule but Indy!
  14. Maybe now that Maliboomer's days are numbered the residents and hotel guests can compromise and get those ugly tubes off an otherwise beautiful coaster. Maliboomer is much taller and presumably generates much more noise. Maybe... one can only hope. Disney can always do what SFNE did: Tell the residents to keep their windows shut and buy them some air conditioners.
  15. It's still taking a while to get used to seeing a gigantic steel coaster at KI. They're creating a monster!
  16. I might be going this weekend, and I'll post plenty of pictures and a review. I for one am happy there's more than just "pig people" in the maze, chainsaws rev up any haunt, relevant to the series or not.
  17. I hope the tunnels are going... They'd be the only hideous thing left when the refurbishment is over.
  18. This guy probably thinks he's badass too... lol... Moose, I'm a native Rhode Islander and my dad told me that same story when I was a kid. My first roller coaster ever was Lincoln Park's Comet Jr. but before I was tall enough to ride the Comet, it was left to rot for decades.
  19. An S&S spokesperson showed this concept off, as well as some other stuff at West Coast Bash, it looks great!
  20. From Indy's dispatch console: "How many loopings, please?" It was cute.
  21. You got my vote, I'll even throw in an Indy fastpass. Good luck to you guys!
  22. Looks great! Your other other projects are very impressive so I'm sure this won't dissapoint.
  23. Not fair! They have Dunkin Donuts in Korea but not socal? Grrrrr...
  24. From the two screens I saw I am extremely impressed. Your Main St. Station is perfect. I need to dig up my RCT2 disk so I can see everything. Could you, by any chance show some screens of your version of Indiana Jones Adventure if you get a chance?
  25. I hope they release a render of the layout in addition to the unclear drawing. New Intamins are always exciting.
