  1. ^ You all should try it. It's awesome. ----Hans
  2. The Booster is also my favorite fair ride. The speed and intensity are just awesome. The booster Maxxx will be in Hoorn this summer which is approx 16 km from where I live. There is only one problem.... I'll be in California when the kermis strikes Hoorn. or ----Hans
  3. The Script - Breakeven
  4. 4/10 Silverstar - Millennium Force - TTD - Kingda Ka After the West Coast Trip it will be 6/10. ----Hans
  5. I had some amazing rides on the Geforce last year. It was around 30 degrees celsius and you could hardly feel the first trim brake. The second one was slightly harder but also no problem. It felled like it had the same amount of airtime as on the bunnyhops on Goliath. In the afternoon a thunderstorm passed by and you could feel the temperature dropped like 10 degrees and suddenly the trims were much harder. The first one was still doable but the second one killed the ride. So if you want to enjoy TPR's #1 coaster and Holiday Park doesn't remove the trimbrakes, just go on a very hot day. ----Hans
  6. Sh.. I missed the one in the nutcrackers mouth. The answer must be five then. -----Hans
  7. It was really fun to run into you guys. I didn't saw you taking that picture of me. I do look stupid in that picture. I'm a bit ashamed since I live pretty close to that Waarbeek coaster but I've never been there. It such a great and old looking coaster. Hands down for De Waarbeek for conserving a classic ride. ----Hans
  8. I just got a speeding ticket from my trip to Plopsaland. It was a blistering € 106,-- ---Hans
  9. ^ Thanks for posting. I can't wait to ride it later this year. Looking forward to your Walibi World update. ----Hans
  10. This is really pathetic. People should learn to keep their temper. I even got a text message by a friend cause he thought I was involved. ----Hans
  11. I found two duckies.... Did I win anything.... ----Hans
  12. ^ There has been an accident last month with those "loopschommels". A 10 year old boy fell over the fence and got under the ride and got serious head injuries. So the rides were removed on the begin of april. ----Hans
  13. ^ I don't think that were real chicken. Otherwise those chicken must be 24 years old since no one would take care of them. The couple in the next video were the only one who did ride the Flying cars that day. [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=Fyingcars001_fb20[/coastertube]
  14. (part 2) You may pull the brake and travel with the tredmill to it's highest point and release the brake and so on and so on.... I don't have pictures of it when it cycled cause there was nobody to ride I will add a video. Then the big tredmill starts rolling and when it reaches the right speed a light turns to green.... Your'e strapped in this car with just a 3 point belt. The most insane flat ride i've ever done. In the last room there was this jumper and.... Down to the very last part of the report. ^ They have a real nice garden for the smokers. Time for a cigaret break. ^ Even drink and food prices were okay. And after the make over. The factory complex.
  15. Hi everyone, This tripreport is dedicated to the most insane indoor themepark of the Netherlands "Speelstad Oranje" which is "Playtown Orange" in english. The park is build in an old potato flour factory. The make-over happened in 1984-1985 and the place still breathes the same 80's style in fact it hasn't changed a bit since then. Don't know if that is a good thing or not but at least there is free parking and the admission for an adult is only € 10,--. I could stick with my sister who stayed on resort with her husband and four kids. So I had a free hotel and free admission. I would call the place dangerous in a way. There were hardly any ride operators and all of the rides are packed together so many of the rides aren't fenced off and you could easily lose your kids out of sight. But then again the atmosphere was very relaxed and laid back. Anyway there is a credit... well for me it's a credit.. it's powered you know. Maybe this tripreport will bring back memories to some of the Dutch and/or Belgian readers. Enough of the blah blah on to the pics. (Part 1) There were some construction pictures of the coaster. ^ On top level you can find minigolf. There are some weird spots throughout the park. Something is wrong about this. Some random theming. ^ ^ Some POV shots from the Zeppelin Or in my case.. little girl powered. Which are man powered. They are called Zeppelins. From the first floor we could get on the parks transport system. ^ ^ Well you get the idea. Spooky It was really... And Het Griezelhuis. This 4x4 kids ride. There isn't as much on the first floor as there is on the groundfloor. OMG there it is. Let's see where is the staircase. That concludes the ground floor let's move on to the first floor. There is still one part of the old factory around. ^ Oh what a great view you can almost see the wall. ^ ^ But the view is the disturbing part. It is kind of cool that they put bumpercars on it. The most disturbing ferriswheel I've ever seen. POV shot. Evil dragon. Some of the theming Around the second helix. A better picture of the first turn. First turn. This was the only part where you can take pictures Can't do a tripreport without the blurry station picture. Through the first turn. ^ Somewhat of an overview shot. Train flashing by. Credit time....The Tornado. It was a bit dark in this part of the building and Larry sorry I forgot to take a picture of the ride sign. A boat ride for the small kids. Indian river. Except that those bumpercars didn't stop so when your kid want to exit the ride it had to run for dear life. Well that is not so weird I suppose.... Another weird thing.... bumpercars for kids. had some airtime It almost... Pirate ship. .. I had to duck for the bridges. Some POV shots ^ ^ There are also some boat rides with unprotected water everywhere. They were faster then I thought. It are just plain waterslides only without the water. Those slides were everywhere. Slides. ^ and farmer the ride. Draaimolen. Two more small rides on groundlevel. Which narrowly fits under the ceiling. A small chairswing ^ Horsie the ride. Parents supervise your kids. Scooters. There are a lot of rides for the smaller children but most of the rides are unprotected like this one ^ ^ ^ There are just a bunch of kids rides on the ground floor. Most of them are old fairground rides. At the other side you can find a bunch of trampolines <---- is that proper english Check out the speed of the ride. ^ First ride. Cause the park is three stories high and things are bit confusing I'll start on groundlevel then work my way up through the building. And like I mentioned parking is for free. Entrance for only €10 So talked enough about food right now let's head to the park. I guess this is the main entrance. And an awesome themed bar. See they all enjoyed their meal. So we decided to eat here again on the next day. The fooooood was pretty good. Foooood. Which was nice and only € 15 for adults. On my first evening we decided to eat in the buffet restaurant. Back view of the factory. On arrival I got this awesome wristband which gave me admission for two cool days. One side of the pipowagen. The resort has some nice settings. We stayed on resort in Pipodorp. View of the opposite direction. Front view The "factory" is situated in a town called Oranje.
  16. Thanks for the update Hanno. The park seemed dead guess you could get a lot of Anubis rides. ----Hans
  17. Peter Pan Speedrock - Resurrection If you guys/girls are not familiar with this band go check them.
  18. I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for sharing and we all hope that more PTR's may follow this year. It didn't seem too busy did they do a two train operation on Goliath? ----Hans
  19. I don't think I saw you but if I see you on my next visit I'll definitely say hi. What's your job around there? Checking the lapbars or at the photodesk? The only Superman clone I rode was at SFA and it was indeed very disappointing. ------Hans
