Thanks for sharing the pics! The layout reminds me of an "out-and-back with loops" Everything just seems like the typical B&M elements, but that not to say that's it's bad. It's been a while since B&M built a regular sit-down coaster. (theres only 3, i think: Kumba, Dragon Khan, and Wildfire). I will definately be there come opening day. -

Wow 100 people, huh? Like someone said earlier, there is gonna be ALOT of repeat TRs...Seems like yall was having fun before yall even made it to the first park..which is a good thing. Made me almost wish I wasn't at work right now (almost- I still gotta make my $$ ). Can't wait for the next update! -
cool..i like. Dont usually see many Sea World TRs. The blur in your pic actually works and gives a sensation of speed. This makes me want to go back for the atmoshpere (and Kraken since I never rode it). The last time I was there was when Journey to Atlantis opened....

Nice PTR. It was cool to see other things than just coasters. And I have to say...I usually just look at the photos of rides and stuff but i like the "Gary Holds Camera and takes picture of both himself and Melissa" pictures.. I think yall are the most photogenic couple I've seen on here.. -

SFDK and Upcoming TR Questions
jten11 replied to scooterdoug's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
i cant really answer your first question, but for your second one, YES. This is what part of this site is all about (most of the time). I was definately scared when I posted my first TR (its in there somewhere...) I wasnt sure how it was gonna be well recieved or not, but it was acceptable. So I say go for it. -
^^ I think it makes sense to close the drop towers. Its about the same process a recall on a defective product goes through. Who knows what else could be wrong with it that we don't see? It's definately better to be safe than sorry.

Yeah I agree. To me it look likes a very balanced theme park(and beautiful). And the fact that they have good-looking coasters but with no inversions is a perfect draw-in for families. That goes to show you a park doesnt need a 10 inversion, multi-looping coaster, or something like that to be a succesful park. (Something some American parks needs a lesson on) -
SFOG's Goliath's New Terrible Locker Policy
jten11 replied to Ccron10's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That is ridiculous regardless if you're a enthusiast or a regular joe. $2 just to rent a locker for that short amount of time is outrageous. Bad enough you gotta pay for your ticket, parking, and food, which are all overpriced, but now $2 for a locker just to ride Goliath?? Yeah, yeah you probably thinking "what u expect, its a theme park, everything's expensive", but its just the principle of it. Had it been cheaper like .50 or at most $1, it wouldn't get as many negative remarks as it is now. Does it really take that long to just put your stuff in a bin and get to your seat? The majority of the times when I see long load times, its mostly the ride ops slowly securing everyone into their restraints. If a ride op sees someone with a loose article, let them know to store it in a bin BEFORE they get on. Countless of times I see people take about 3 or 5 seconds to store their items and get back to thier seats. Goliath has one the shortest wait times at SFoG even with a long line. But I'm pretty sure with that new rule the loading capcity is going to be LONGER because I bet alot of people is going to be unaware of it or not paying attention to the signs. Its sucks that Six Flags would do that to my #1 ride ever...(even though it doesnt directly affects me, but like I said, its the priciples) -
What is your favorite genre of music?
jten11 replied to SonOfBeastSucks's topic in Random, Random, Random
I dont have just one favorite genre: Classical (not boroque) Hiphop/Rap R&B (not a lot) Alt. Rock (SOAD, anyone?) Electronic (trance, some techno) Dancehall ..and everything else (even some country.. ) -
I can't stand slow drivers! Tallahassee is noturious for that! It's like they don't have anywhere to go, so they're just crusing, while I'm behind them bout to be late for work cause it take ten minutes just to make a damn turn! Why are you going 35 MPH when on a road with a 45 MPH speed limit?! I can understand that its not really a fast-paced city, but come on...(Unless I just got a heavy foot.. )

What is your next park?
jten11 replied to onewheeled999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wild Adventures either in August or September.....after that Ima try for IOA in Oct. -
hmmm pretty interesting. Being that i rode Superman Ultimate Flight twice, I feel that I can input on this...Depending on how where you're looking, you can consider it an inversion. If you look forward while going throught the inline, it seems like you're going upside down. If you're looking downwards, it seems like you're bascially in the lay-down position looking towards the sky (which could be an upside down view if you're looking forward). So to me it all depends on how your head is positioned.
