Great TR! I used to go to both Rehoboth and Ocean City a lot while my dad was stationed in Dover. Grotto's is awesome pizza, and Thrasher's fries are the best too. The thing I love about Rehoboth is even though it gets pretty crowded, it still seem pretty tranquill compared to all the other main beaches on the coast.

I got 9 ducks also. Nice job of hiding them pretty well too.

I saw Journey, Heart, and Cheap Trick last night. Cheap Trick was ok, they had a few songs I knew. Heart was really good, especially there 70's rock stuff. Barracuda was friggin awesome. Journey was really good also. Its strange to see a Phillipino guy up there belting out Don't Stop Believing, but he sounds exactly like Steve Perry and has great showmanship. I was very impressed with them.

I scored some free tickets to see Sammy Hagar and the Wabos last Friday at a local casino. It was a very energetic and fun show. It helps that he knows his crowd and plays a lot of Van Hagar stuff. Its still no where near the best concert I've seen this year. I don't think anyone will top the Foo Fighters. On a side note of the Sammy show, I could have sworn Dave, (meteornotes) was there rocking out. I've never met him, but it looked just like the dude in his TR's. I thought it was all about death metal and carnivorous bees?

In and out of Wal-Mart in 36 minutes with kids? Well done, if we are getting stuff we need for us and the kids its an hour.

I went to US Cellular when it first opened, (before they bastardized the name), and was not impressed. My favorite parks that I've been to in no particular order are: The Vet (I'm a Phillies fan) sadly I haven't been to CBP yet Miller Park Busch Stadium (the new one, the old one sucked, it was like a wind tunnel) Camden Yard Kaufmann Stadium (it may be old, and the team might suck, but its a beautiful place to watch a ballgame) Here in Omaha we have the Omaha Royals. On Thursdays they run a thirsty Thursday promotion with dollar beers. The majors will never do that.

I would up The Dark Knight quite a bit. Major cities sold out of the midnight showing so fast, they added 3 am and 6 am showings. Its going to be ridiculous. Not only will people who loved Batman Begins see it, but people who want to see Heath Ledger in his last film will go. Plus Ledger is getting Oscar buzz so that will draw a few more curious people.

After reading the blog and seeing the pics of construction, they better be having 2 attractions open next year. That contruction is of a building, so unless they are building the station first, its probably a new haunt. Or maybe they are building the gift shop for the ride. Please don't let all this hype be for a freaking new haunt.

Awesome Euro report. I too love the friends and loved ones portion so you can put faces with names and such. Do you know what day you are going to be here in NE? I'll definitley have to meet up and ride our 1 coaster at Fun Plex.

The International Wildlife Organization warning? Lame. I do like how they are trying a little viral marketing of their own. Obviously no where near the level of Farenheit however.

My thoughts go out to the family. What a tragedy that could have easily been avoided. Its good to see that his dad isn't losing his head and suing Six Flags though.

Awesome fair! The fairs here in NE suck. You'll get the Kamikazee, a fun house, octopus, cliff hanger, roundabout, and an orbiter. That's it other than the kiddie rides.

There's a haunted-house ride at Funland at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware (about an hour north of Ocean City), but I didn't have time to stop and check it out. The haunted house at Rehoboth is all kinds of awesome. Its consistently rated as one of the top dark rides every year. Too bad you missed. Its only open at night though.

Great pics Big Mike!! I had no idea Canada's Wonderland had that many coasters. Is Behemoth along the lines of Nitro or Goliath? You should let me know when you are going to be hitting up Fun Plex here in good ole Omaha. If I am in town i will definitely try to meet up with you! I have lived in Omaha for 15 years, and the Big Ohh opened last year. I still don't have my hometown credit. How sad is that. By the way, Boo Red Wings. My Flyers just didn't have enough this year. There young though, they'll be back.

This looks pretty awesome. I like how the ray exhibit itself is a walk through. originally it made it seem like the coaster would fly through the exhibit, which means you probaly wouldn't see much unless it was traveling up the lift hill. I'm still kind of curious to see how the wings "skim" the water without completely slowing the train down.

Man this brings back some old memories. I used to go to Ocean City every year when I was younger. I haven't been back since '03 when I took my wife there. Thanks for posting these!

Awesome report so far as usual Scott! I love the somewhat obscure hip hop stuff you throw into them. Even if its not Jay-Z's best work teaming with Mr. Janet Jackson. On another note, I agree with the Not-So-Great Movie ride. It just seems like nothing but a time waster now.
