Vote for Theme Park Review!
bigstevet07 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Voted. To bite off Beemerboy's campaign slogan, a vote for TPR is a vote for PMW. -
HAD a crappy head coach. They already took care of that. Durant isn't crappy either, he's just too raw right now to carry a team of scrubs on his back. Durant will get double teamed everytime he touches the ball when there is no one else on the floor to worry about. He is also extreemely clutch for a young age. He seems to hit the big shot when needed, even though that is rare for this team. I think Durant will be fine.

^ I definitely agree with Derrick Rose being the real deal. I wasn't sure if he was ready to run an NBA team just one year removed from high school, but he is truly special. I used to be a huge Sixers fan, then they traded Barkley and I was done with them. The NBA was so bad in the late 90's early 2000's that I completely lost interest in it. I am starting to get back into it now though as it has greatly improved. I am trying to pick it back up with the Sixers since they got Brand, (Im a huge Duke fan), but they just lack something with that team.

Guitar Hero World tour Vs. Rock Band 2
bigstevet07 replied to kalvin's topic in Random, Random, Random
Huh? I was just looking at both set lists, and they do have a few songs that are the same, but its not even close to half. They may have some of the same bands, but most of them are different tunes. -
Definitely, he is friggin hilarious. Is he still performing in Vegas? I know a couple of years ago he had a new Comedy Central show, but that's all I've heard of him lately.

AND THEN THERE WERE NONE - WEEK 8
bigstevet07 replied to coasterdude5's topic in Random, Random, Random
The save the va-jay-jay line had me rolling, and it almost worked. But alas I am married and now the va-jay-jay is an afterthought. Sorry Natalie, but you gotta go. -
AND THEN THERE WERE NONE - WEEK 7

Sorry SoCalMan, but I can't think of any of your posts. The others posts are great and friggin crack me up all the time. I'm thinking of jumping on the mcjaco bandwagon just because he loves beer as much as I do. Us alcoholics have to stick together with the economy like this. -

LOL, that's exactly what I did with my Entourage seasons. -
Yeah this is pretty much me.

My favortie shows on right now are: Entourage (last season was ok, but this season is way better... the episode when they went to Joshua Tree and tripped shrooms was one of the best ever) How I Met Your Mother(very underrated) Scrubs (sad its the last season) Simpsons and Family Guy I am really starting to get into My Name Is Earl. It really should be called My Name Is Randy because Ethan Suplee steals the show. -
According to Vegas oddsmakers, the Rays are the favorites to win it all. They are -1.35 on the money line. As a Phillies fan, this coudln't make me happier. The Phils relish te underdog role. I guess steamrolling through 2 playoff series and going 7-2 in those aren't good enough. GO PHILLIES!!
-
This should be an interesting series. Both teams are playing their best ball right now. I think the Phillies have a slight emotional edge on the Rays. Charlie Manuel's mom died during the NLCS, and Victorino's grandmother died too. I think the Phillies will definitely try to do this for them.
-
I couldn't believe the Sox came back last night. I went to bed when it was 7-0 and figured that the Phillies would be playing the Rays. Then I woke up and Sportscenter was talking about the Sox still alive. It will be interesting to see how the young Rays respond to such a collapse. I think the momentum has definitely shifted to the Sox.
-
Well put Beemer. The only reason they even sold tickets before the middle of this season was because fans of the teams they were playing went to the games.
-
You really thought the Braves would do something this year? I'm actually surprised Cox is going to keep his job. Its time for a regime change there. Enough of that, I've waited 15 lllloooonnnngggg years to see my Phils in the World Series. It's time to exercise the Joe Carter demons!! Screw you Mitch Williams. Yes I am still bitter. Allen, I was also surprised to see the Dodgers pretty much give up last night. I think the Matt Stairs homer in game 4 was too much. They showed the Dodgers dugout after it and they were shell shocked. I'm not sure Bllingsley was a good choice either. His psyche had to be fragile after game 2. I probably would have throw Kuroda at home on short rest.

I think the fact the list is "Most Important" and not "Best" is sort of their way of being populist and picking the well known song instead of the artist's best work. It lets them get away with putting the Run DMC/Aerosmith "Walk This Way" super high up even though the actual song is pretty mediocre. But again...that's why I hate lists like this, unless every single song is accompanied by a longer piece highlighting it's actual artistic merit and reason for ranking, it all becomes very subjective. Yeah I am not a fan of lists like this either. But if it was most important, they missed the boat completely on the Heavy D track. Don't Curse was basically a big middle finger to censorship. It was aimed at placing the parental advisory stickers on CD's and tapes. I do think they got it right with P.E. number 1. They probably should have placed Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos on here too.
-
I agree with you and Wes. This list was a little dissapointed. I don't get how you can only have one track from Paid in Full, when just about everyone recognizes it as the best hip-hop album ever? Some of these selections (PM Dawn, Lil Jon, Mase) shouldn't even be close to being on here. They are pop. I thought they did Pete Rock and CL Smooth a major disservice with placing They Remnisce Over You at number 90. I've always loved that track and thinks it should at least be top 25. Overall it was ok, but they sometimes put the wrong song down. Big Daddy Kane's I Get The Job Done over Ain't No Half Steppin? Run DMC's It's Like That instead of King Of Rock? Heavy D's Now That We Found Love instead of Don't Curse or Blue Funk? Where the hell is Marley Marl's The Symphony with Craig G, Masta Ace, Big Daddy Kane, and Kool G Rap? Ok end rant, sorry I realize that these lists are usually done up by top 40 DJ's and go by airplay.

Hehe. Does he also like big butts? I bet you drove there in your hooptie too. Very well done report. -
^ That's cool. The closest I've ever got to a hole in one was on a 120 yard downhill par 3. I topped it, but it rolled down the hill and right over the hole. My handicap is around 20 also, or to be honest my swing it my true handicap.

Aliens are Coming to Alabama on October 14!

I think we are missing the most important part of their arrival. Will they be able to finally tell us what rides are like... on the moon?
