  1. Does it really matter who mature or not, were on the forum to talk about Roller coaster and stuff (hence Themeparks, Rollercoasters and donkeys) So let get back to the topic
  2. It atually looks better than I thought (and much shorter) and I wouldn't hesitate riding it but I still think it isn't worth it for its price (sorry Intamin)
  3. Theres some infomation on this post here www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35004 Remember, Search is your freind EDIT: ^^ Darn! You beat me to it!
  4. ^^ I think its smoother than collosus (Im guessing that because he said he liked it better) Nice photo's BTW, nice to see photos of parks that are rarly photoed (Is that a real word)
  5. This looks like it offers a fun, long ride. Perfect for the park...I wonder where they got the idea from (cough..MOA...cough) My only critism is towards the end theres to many lift hills and the tracks a bit choppy, but it still looks fun EDIT: Apparently MOA is owned by the same company, you DO learn something new everyday (I wish Metroland could get something like this but theres no room, at least its been saved from the chopping block )
  6. Apparently this Gerstlauer launch coaster cconceptsbeen around for a while, they just 'updated' the launch coaster page lately. I'm hoping a park will get one sooner or later, they look much better than the X-car launch coaster BTW ^^ I think you quoted the wrong person
  7. If anyones interested the GCI interns have posted some great photos of troy from the top of the lift www.greatcoastersinterns.com/photos.php
  8. Look good however... I think the old trains looked much better But it will defiantly improve the ride experience!
  9. Mayby you should make it a poll?
  10. I read a Interview with Amanda Thompson (think it was on this site) and from what I remember, she said they aren't as rich as people think but they are lucky to have a park as good as they have, (One of the best by miles in England) As for the water jets, I would of thought they would be a close-miss rather than on the train. (I wouldnt like to be sprayed in the face by a water jet at 40 mph...well...I think I dont) They proberbly wont be working very often anyway knowing BPB
  11. Looks like Griffons almost finished (which is good), I never knew Busch gardens had a Skyride, hopefully you will get some great photos from there of Griffon! BTW Hope she enjoyed the day (I would like to go to a park like that )
  12. I always thought a Eygptian theme would be cool (being in a pyramid shaped building in a Mythological area) (Hint-Hint)
  13. Sorry for digging up an old-topic but for anyone interested in the "UPGRADE", there's infomation and pictures on there site Thorpe park website
  14. That sums up the entire project, if they were building a GG, GCI or even a custom Euro- Fighter (all cheap by building standards), people would be keeping an eye on this project 24-7, with this, people (even coaster enthusiasts) keep forgetting it exists , hows that going to help the park! Whats more it (apparently) sucks
  15. Wow! Its Winjas, Rock'n'Rollercoaster and Revenge of the mummy rolled into one! Hope its as good as all three of them!
  16. Good news Premier's building a rollercoaster, I haven't heard anything on them since Revenge of the mummy, lets hope to see a ride like it (with Michael Jackson instead of the mummy) This is looking to be a fantastic project however... Led Zeppelin: the ride, its worse than Hollywood dream: the ride (speaking of which, there concept are eerily simular) EDIT: Opps! Forgot about Italian job, that would be cool
  17. ^^ The camp you went to was proberbly Craig-tara (at Ayr, I know because I went there on holiday last year) I also went there when I was younger AND Twist'n'shout is my first (and only) looper That killed off two minutes
  18. Nothing spectacular or normal for that matter... It hard to find a good picture of Grand National mainly because Valhallas in the way, this is the best one I could find! Dive into hell = Fun
  19. I went there last summer and really enjoyed it, I rode Twist and Shout 13 times when I was there. The park would do great with that S&S tower ride.I also like how it has ruins of a castle at the entrence The main problem with the park at the moment is that there isnt enought rides to fill the day, we were there for 3 hours at max, however, I hope the Barnstormer will change that.
  20. Ahh! I wish I could hear news like this for metroland (English indoor park at Metro center, 3 miles from my house ), the only news we have for it is its closure
  21. ^^ I 'think' because he lives in Stockholm he has ridden its semi-clone (Where it is situated) and obviously didn't like it. However, despite not have ridden it, I think it looks very good (one of shcwartskophs (not sure how to spell it) best)
  22. The track seems different to what the model shows (I didnt notice that hill dip thing after the tallest turn), but Gravity group do change there mind a lot, look at voyages simulation and then the official on-ride and you'll know what I mean. It looks really good so far, the gravity group may have struck gold (again) aswell as the park
  23. Nice photos! BTW What makes you think it will interact with water, Im just a bit curious
  24. Lightwater valley...Need I say which one If you count Metroland, it has to be the 'new rollercoaster', make a wild guess why (If you dont know which one it is, its the ladybird...not really...its the Ultimate)
  25. Constructions started www.ukrides.info They've also released a new poster... (lets just say it isnt much better than the other one)
