  1. Very nice, it was blissfully smooth until just after halfway through when it started to get a bit pumpy. It also would of been nice to ride with a head.
  2. I would'nt say 'realistic' but more 'inventive' which is just as good if not better than a realistic one.
  3. Does anyone have any pictures of the old one?
  4. I thought it was good but not great, the layouts fantastic but its a bit pumpy at times but for the most part was smooth and the 3-D's felt a bit messy. Anything else I would say was already posted above and it did seem like you put a lot of effort into it.
  5. Aww...you have to be American to enter and you don't get thet type of opportunity in England. Oh well! Looks fantastic, it would do loads for the park. I wonder how much it cost them.
  6. ^A double shot (or whatever type it is but I'm sure its a double shot) always look small and tame but the ejector air-time on them from what I heard is of an epic scale.
  7. No other word for it but amazing but I've got time on my hands so I'll expand a bit. It had a really cool and fun layout, something not found on most Euro-fighters made on Nolimits and was very smooth. I agree that the colours are a bit dissapointing but I'd thought I'd spend some time to make a suggestion. I know its simular to MM but It's the best I could come up with, also I suggest putting in a few trees to make it look a bit more realistic. I suggest using the same brown used on the cars for the supports and using a darker grey for the track. BTW If you want me to shut up just say! EDIT:Whats is name by the way?
  8. ^ Last time I checked Titanic's a true-ish story about a sinking ship, this is about a flooded hotel (well Titanic in a way was a hotel so I see what your getting at). Besides I'm talking about the story's simularitys, not the concept simularitys. BTW Sorry If you feel If I'm being too critical, I'm just saying what I thought of it.
  9. As a film I'd say its OK. I have a few critisms with the plot, firstly the story was nearly exactly like Titanic's, losing what could of been a very original film. It also felt like a visual-specific movie with a love story plot thrown in the beginning and end for good measures saving the visuals for the middle, this meant that the story did'nt really develope properly and the result is a plot thats very predictable and fairley weak. However its a nice idea though, I haven't heard of a film about a flooded hotel that also burns down on the same night. As a RCT project the films fantastic, it had some good filming techniques at times and the sets are great.
  10. Looks great and completley un-expected, lets hope SixFlags start theming larger rides to this scale, that is if they start making them again!
  11. Tussaud's (or British Merlin parks but I like calling them Tussaud's) need to get their act together, this has got to be the biggest copy of all time. I missed the days of John Wardley when their theming and designs were completely original. I know most people in England haven't been to Dollywood and this ride would proberbly do the park well but still... I also don't agree with the supposed 'Texas chainsaw Massacar' theming, it might put off a few people. Well at least its something! (I think chessington needs a new family coaster personally but I doubt anyone agree's but who knows)
  12. I recently got a new laptop but when I transfered nolimits over too it I got a problem in that the simulator gets extreamly choppy when I face the camera towards extensive support work meaning I can't ride woodies or most steelies for that matter, anyone know what going on?
  13. Very cool, it was smooth for the most part until halfway through where it started to get pumpy but nothing that serious. It also had a very sweet layout, it seemed to do a lot from a mere height of 60ft. I don't really care for the use of tools, they do help you make a smooth ride but wouldnt you like the glory of making a smooth and fantastic ride by yourself. Well, I shoud'nt say too much because I can't use them either! (mayby someday ) As for the idea, got insperation from Spongebob did you!
  14. ^ Remember how fast Rage went up, very efficient work in my books.
  15. For the most part it's smooth but it does'nt WOW me really, it has nothing to hold my attention or that other coasters don't have. Nice try though!
  16. The Gravity Group and Martin & Vleminckx have teamed up once again to produce two new coaster models, the Fireball and Hornet. I don't know about anyone else but these look really cool, I wonder if anyone will buy them. Note it won't be found on GG's website, I just checked. If you want more info on the rides click here... www.martin-vleminckx.com/products.htm
  17. I noticed that myself, I tried to do something about it will still keeping it realistic-ish and long but nothing worked. So I kept it the way it was, better than just ending it I suppose. EDIT: ^ The flag relation was unintentional but I'm glad you liked it! Video released! Enjoy! (dont worry, it does'nt stay in old style so don't be put off) Ripleys Thunderbolt.rar Ripleys Thunderbolt.wmv
  18. Video can be found a few posts below! This coaster is a ride I made a while ago (during the Christmas holiday) but I never bothered putting it up because at the time I didn't think it was that impressive. However I tweaked it a bit over time and this made it a bit more 'ridable'. It's kind kind of a soul sister to my other woodie twister 'Great American Twister' and shares a few elements relating to that, it's just as compact as it but its also longer, taller and faster than it. It's also more 'original' than its older sibling. Anyway... Ripley's Thunderbolt was built by Mr.Ripley along with several other classics at pre-WW2 British amusement park, the park was a hit and remained popular all the way to 1999 when the park became bust. However, the Thunderbolt was restored and now it entertains rider's under an independent owner until this day. Enjoy! I suggest the back seat! 19. Not trying being mean here or anything but I don't think its THAT amazing, yes its good but it did have a few pumps here and there and it is'nt the best layout I've ever seen. However it is fast and does has a lot of airtime!
  20. Very good work. It was original, smooth and interesting. However there are a few problems, firstly there were a few pumps and secondly I walked of without a head. Other than that it was fantastic!
  21. The logo's nearly exactly the same, good job I liked the old one.
  22. Much better! Also, about the heartline theres this tool called the Auto heartline generator that heartlines your track to improve laterals, its a bit hard to use though if your not used to it!
  23. Very impressive, it was smooth, original and had a nice theme. I like the way you released it also, however one criticizm is that its not the most entertaining ride in the world, don't know why I think that, I just do. Still, fantastic effort!
  24. Darn! You beat me to it, I was just about to make a ride not to different to yours. Oh well, back to the drawing board. As for the coaster it was great fun, however in the second half after the brakerun the transitions were a bit choppy and I'm not a fan of that last turn and the first drop after the brake run. However, I love the colours! BTW Nice to see you make NL coasters again!
