Which is better?
Calaway Park replied to thrillrideseeker's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
If NL and RCT3 formed into one game, I would NEVER buy it. Say goodbye to your frame rate, the games apply to completely different customers. -

NL is much better in the sim/coaster aspect of the games. Otherwise you can't compare them. -

Gerstlauer Looping Spinner
Calaway Park replied to Waterpark101's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Good point! It's "Gerstlauer!" I think anyway. I think you should name it "Galactic." -
Thrill Ride Seeker, you've said you don't even own NoLimits. It is possible to make a perfect recreation, it's not like RCT3. You can make every nook and cranny exactly the same. The only thing is that the physics in NL are about as close to perfect as you can get them [as CLOSE as you can get them, they aren't perfect] so the ride time may be a little off. It's not being immature, debating isn't being immature, and whoever taught you that was completely incorrect. He did state this ride is not a recreation, so just leave it at that. We never said we COULD do it! We just said it's possible to do!

Oh, please, PaMoA is already the loudest place in the upper midwest. An S&S tower would actually be quiet compared to everything else. While the park is subjectively loud, all the rides are actually extremely quiet. For comparison, the Gerstlauer outdoor spinners are practically silent, while indoors it is the loudest ride in the park. S&S Towers can be heard several hundred feet away outdoors, it would be, by far, the loudest thing in the park. Based on the location of the new drop ride, I can tell you not to expect anything big. I think most of you will be shocked to see where they plan on squeezing it in. I would expect a ride with a seating arrangement similar to a Frog Hopper. The biggest thing I could possibly see installed there would be something along the lines of an ARM Super Shot. I can disprove you about S&S towers being too loud, as Triple Five's other in-mall amusement park, Galaxyland has one [my home park] and I can assure you that it is perfectly quiet. All there is is a loud rush of air, and it's not even that bad. By the way, yes, Galaxyland and The Park At MOA are both owned by the same company. Did I mention it's 128 feet high?

Not the big purple one, but the red one that had a similar design to the Drier Looping that you had in your "NL coasters" Thread. And Eric Smith, I've been nice to him.. I wasn't being rude, and in fact, me and coasterfan200692 were getting along perfectly fine until I was rudely called a conceited jerk for no apparent reason. And me starting a contest was not a cheap shot to you, you know that, I have never once been rude to you. I know you're going to bring this back to me trying to "overpower" your little contest, but that has absolutely NOTHING to do with it! I've been nice as possible to everyone, and if you think about it, in the other thread where we were arguing I was defending someone. Pretty nice if you ask me! We've got a truce, and we're not angry at each other anymore, so for Christ's sake, DROP IT. I did help him out, pointing out the flaws tells him what to fix, if he had stated the local of the flaws and knew about them and asked how to correct them, I would've helped. But he never asked that. Actually, I think I did, last line of the first post......and tell me ways to improve it...... My bad, but you also asked what we thought of it. And I told you what to improve, and if you would like to know how to improve it, you can always add my MSN contact or my AIM screen name, I'd be happy to help. I'm not trying to be the bad guy here, I rated your coaster like I would anybody else's, and it's not being rude, it's a reality. I didn't just ramble off everything in that rate, I have two pieces of paper sitting on my desk right now where I recorded what I found wrong, I didn't just spout off at the mouth because I was mad at you if that's what you think happened. Your other rides were better, and I rated hard because I was comparing your skills, and I know you can do better. -

Good job on being nice and help him out I'm not being rude at all. I stated that they were terrible, because they were. Not because I was trying to magnify everything, what was I supposed to say? "Your transitions are MAGNIFICENT, everything was perfect, I loved your ride and I want you to keep making them like this, I'm not going to tell you what the flaws are your ride are so you don't improve!" I'm not going to lie to make someone feel better. The transitions WERE terrible, the building technique WAS very bad, and it was EXTREMELY unoriginal. Just drop it, seriously. Or add some 3d objects, make a station, etc. I'd like to point that out. He pointed out the flaws, never said how to fix it, and said that it was a waste of time. Your reaction? You agreed with him. Unless somebody is telling you to act like this, why the change of heart? -

The mess on the white section always happens to me, it's from blowing the excess coloured pencil off the page and then accidentally rubbing some in with your elbow, well, that's how it happens to me anyway. -

He didn't just start, and now, I know you never read my post, for sure now. He's been building for a long time, and has other fantastic rides. He has a Schwarzkopf looper that I really enjoy, this was the second ride he built, but he is MODIFYING it for release. He has made MANY OTHER RIDES since, and they are much better! -

Bite me I love your latest drawing though, what coloured pencils do you use? Just standard Crayola or Laurentian, or high quality ones like Prisma Colour? I saw your little article thing about your Patriot art, and it is very similar haha. -

Excuse me? Hm? I criticized it because I was trying to help him.. you post your ride to get criticized, so you can learn what the problems are, and you know what to fix. I never said I could do better, and how am I conceited? I never said I was better than him, you clearly never read my post. I stated constructive criticism. I really don't know what your problem is. And by the way, he's built many, many much better rides since. He's made a Schwarzkopf Looper than I enjoyed a lot, I only rated him hard because I know he can do better. This is his second ride, but he's released others since, and I just don't think he did what he could've with the smoothing.
