  1. I've tried out the Tannoy- Wow! It's amazing, it puts you in control of the whole experience and it really feels as if you were a ride op! You guys are crazy to miss out- it's a lot of fun to fool around with, and the music is really catchy, it even has announcements telling people they're welcomed, and to get off the fence and such. Great program, you'll have fun with it if you download it. Seriously, it's just a simple add to Myspace...
  2. Well, it's cool, but I really really want to know what happened to Zest...
  3. Sweet, now it won't cost about 2000 dollars to play the game - 1500 for the computer, 400 for a high end graphics card, and 100 for the game and both expansions.
  4. http://www.rideentertainment.com/blog/ UPDATE! Ride layout in the park pictured in images! Scroll down to see! Ride layout modified from video, extreme twisting areas inside the Mindbender Rollercoaster! This ride mixes with nearly every other ride in the mall!
  5. AHG screws up perfect loops, AHG screws up almost any vertical track... magnified pumping is totally different story. And AHG does fix your track in the sense that it "fixes" laterals. And what I meant by perfect banking was banking with minimal laterals, if you know what your doing in the editor you can heartline almost as well as the AHG can. AHG doesn't say whether a track is enjoyable or not, so why ask? Yes AHG screws up any perfectly vertical track (but set to anywhere between 89-89.9° and the problem is solved) but loops have no problem if you remember the radius will change after putting it through AHG & accomodating for any loss/gain in speed . This and this are both loops done first time in AHG with no problems whatsoever... As for the final part, where is the harm in asking a question? Sure, you may not find it useful, but someone else might like to know if any tools were used (such as anti-tool people, who probably wouldnt download it if it was AHGd) If I'm not mistaken, you probably had the top of the loop unbanked before you sent it through the program. But ANYWAY, your ride is looking leaps and bounds better than your last one, especially seeings that your loops aren't flat on the top

  7. Pointless question. You can bank perfectly without the AHG. AHG isn't the best thing since sliced bread, in fact, it can mess up your tracks more than fixing them on occasion.
  8. I think Mountain Dew Code Red is better. Original Vault is better than Mountain Dew, but this version is definitely not as good as MD's.
  9. How about you read the description before you blabber? Anyway, the loop... the loop was flat on the top.... There weren't many banking issues, you banked it "Arrow," but it pumped everywhere, and there were a lot of jerks in some areas. Listen here you little geek, Im tired of you starting things with me, the banking in places was off, and that does not happen in normal vakoma roller coasters, Iv'e road plenty of them. Plus, I did read the first post, if it were me, i would have maybe mentioned the boundry thing. To the creator, I understand now, that makes things better. Buddy, I never started anything, you never read the description of the ride, I'm not talking about the first post, I'm talking about the ride description in the editor. Don't call me a geek for your own fault.

  11. Can you just leave? I know you only came in here to bash me from the Queue at CS for being excited over something you still, know nothing about. Get lost.
  12. Dragons Fury has 3 lifts and it's a pretty damn good ride Different type of spinner I know, but the last two lifts on it don't take long at all. You just zip right along them. So even though this has multiple lifts you might barely notice them. I think it has promise of being a decent ride though. Not that it's actually going to draw me to Edmonton anymore then before though. Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou. If you watch the video, it almost launches the train up them, the lifts are very fast, and they are probably completely unnoticeable. Although, the first lift is a chain, I doubt it will stay that way, it would get too loud inside the mall.
  13. Because.. Mindbender is tame? And the double shot? This park has a lot of things... and actually, I'm really thinking now, even moreso because the track colours differ, that this isn't the final version.
  14. http://www.gerstlauer-rides.de/english/Gerstlauer_E.html Now this is odd, the simulation picture on the Gerstlauer website is yellow.... And it's the same colours as Timberland Twister, but it has the WEM logo on it, so it's not just the sim of TT... Odd, That video at GL's website must be off then...
  15. It's because the ride is high off the ground, and they are already building a roof extension, but building one really big to make it a single lift hill would cost a lot of money. then why does the one at MOA have 1 lift? or why do they have a Shwartzkopht indoors, it's not too expensive, they could shorten the layout. Because the one at MOA is a heckofalot shorter, Yes, a MASSIVE 147ft. That is longer, in a spinning coaster that could be like 3 helices..
  16. If you can get on the dragon wagon at Galaxyland, then that's four credits there. Length: 1492' Height: 44' Inversions: 0 Speed: 30 mph Duration: 1:27 Alright, I'm really second guessing that that video is the coaster.. these stats look nothing like it.. it's only ten feet shorter than timberland twister... maybe it's just NL that needed the tires or something, because this doesn't appear to need four lifts if it's max speed is 1 mph less that TT's, and it only has one lift... and this one is longer...

Because the one at MOA is a heckofalot shorter, it's compact, stays in one area of the park, and they had room when they built it. And the Schwarzkopf is there from 1985! I think it was there when GL built it!

  19. Size and detail - $1000 Smaller detail: $300 Watching your Knex coaster fail miserably: Priceless. It's tough.
  20. Make the last part a funky warped helix with a tiny airtime hill out of it.
  21. Coaster......... no. Flat ride..
  22. Most of them are clones? I never knew that! "Construction on the park's 4th roller coaster has commenced. The coaster will create a very visible addition to Galaxyland with the track winding its way around the entire park. Each car on the coaster train will not only wind along the park-wide track but spin on its own axis while doing so, thereby adding a whole new dimension to the traditional roller coaster ride and ensuring no two rides are ever the same. This will be the first coaster of its kind in Canada. This new roller coaster will be a family ride, similar to the "Autosled", but will be around 3 times the length. The roller coaster will cover all areas of the park, heading over the "Swing of the Century", and even going through the second loop of the Mindbender roller coaster. A small section of the ride is to be positioned outside, heading through the roof (while remaining enclosed). Heavy construction is scheduled to begin in May, and will likely not be ready in time for the busy summer season. Workers have ripped out part of the purple-blue rocks in some places and have cut lines on the ground in some places to make room for this attraction." -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galaxyland
  23. It has like four lift hills haha, and there are a lot of turns. Look carefully at the video, I was very dissapointed the first time I looked at it, but I took a double take, and the end of the ride is pretty twisted. Isn't Dragon's Fury Maurer Sohne?
