I'm looking at 2 different things. First, it is "sort of" a clone, so maybe there won't be those problems. Second, there are 2 major differences from Wicked @ Lagoon: Different trains, and the cliff-hanger element. I predict that the cliff-hanger will be the buzz-kill in the first couple weeks. "IF" it's installed. I dunno how many times KW hasn't stuck to original plans.

^ I hear May 20th is the goal. So it definately won't be open on those preview weekends.

I'm with Robb. If this makes Texas Giant awesome, this could be a hot new trend that fix sucky coasters everywhere! And at half the price of a new coaster, rides like Rattler and Mean Streak could be totally new experiences. Good luck Six Flags, I routing for ya on this one!

Wow, has Las Vegas Blvd gotten that bad? I did that walk every other day in the 90s. (Except in the middle of summer!) The only thing I ever ran into was someone asking for a cigarette, or someone trying to sell a bus pass. But police action was the norm back then, so I never really payed attention to it.

Don't these animal play with "toys", ie. a buoy attatched to a rope? The whale probably thought her ponytail was the end of a toy. Also, what happened to the accounts of her being grabbed by the waist and thrashed?

Thilled to see the final design, it looks awesome. The fact it's going to China, not so much.

Never been to SDC, but is that hill really steep. Looking at pictures on RCDB, doesn't seem to be a match.

Not sure if I'm convinced yet either. Just seems really uncanny, and that access road goes all the way around the park, and forks of into the park at Phantom's revenge.

With very little excavating, this is a match. I know, it's CRUDE beyond belief, but follow the lines.
