I'm not a Disney "fan" so to speak, but more power to them. It's like some of the bars here in Fort Lauderdale, charging up to $25 for a simple cocktail. If there are tourists, those prices will continue to climb. But being a smart tourist will save you tons of moolah, as R&E pointed out!

Oh sure, but anybody who's been lucky enough to be a theme park employee can pretty much say this has happened to them at least once. I worked at Kennywood in 88-89. Happened many times, on many rides.

It should be law that nothing new and innovative can be premiered at Fuji-Q. Lord have moistures, that's going to be one LONG day. But really, what ride at FQ is comfy and fun? Will this new element bring more pain and misfortune? Only time will tell. Looks like this could be an ear-banger. EDIT: ^ We were thinking the same thing!

This totally reminds me of downtown Pittsburgh, on 5th Avenue, where you wait for the Kennywood (61C) bus. Awesome trip report!

Great report, I too am a deep-fried fan. We had our own little little deep fried food court here in Fort Lauderdale last weekend. I ate EVERYTHING! (Side note in response to your report: Chicken and waffles is nothing new, we had that when we were kids.) Our little food court. Chicken on a stick! YUMMMMMM! Nom Nom Nom!

Holy crap! That's a HUGE chunk of time. The obvious question that comes to mind for me is, how is that compared to it's opening season ride time? Did this reprofile bring it back to it's original ride time, just improve the current ride time, or did it surpass the original?

And you JUST MISSED the world's largest gay cruise. This is what your boat looked like last week. The gay cruise was just before the Alvey's. Wonder if the floor is still sticky?
