The End of the Internet.
DenDen replied to Chroniq's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It was on the news here a few days ago that GoDaddy has pulled it's support for SOPA. It originally supported it, but after thousands of customers threatened to pull their accounts, they changed their stance. Seems that our government will never catch up to technology, or be able to write laws that actually work. They need to stop trying to appease the entertainment industry, which is mostly to blame for all this madness. -

Leave it to gizmodo the screw things up. I knew as soon as I saw sponsorship, it was all over. The Santa Claw is dead. So sad they allow this... -
To add to "nowaymang"s statement, in the 80's there was also a train under the Fort Pitt bridge almost in shambles, and a car from the blue train on display at Station Square along with old train cars outside in a covered area. (next to the Smithfioeld St Bridge.) Looks like the one in the picture posted was a restored car from the one under the Fort Pitt Bridge.

Wow, this is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. Thanks for sharing. I could see something like this in Pennsylvania. Plenty of forests like that. (Yea, dream on Dennis...) -

This is, in my opinion, one of the best message threads ON THE ENTIRE INTERNET! I've followed it from the very beginning, and it just continues to get better and better! Amazing history! Shane is THE BOMB! (OK, showing my age there, for a bit!) I can never get enough of these "inside" historic stories... Thank you Shane!!! -

Probably the greatest influence of my coaster enthusiasm as a teen and young adult. Is there an actual running list of all the coasters he designed? There were so many, and I've probably ridden every one in the USA. -
Not necessarily. I'm not into Disney or Avatar. I'm into actual rides, which none of that art has. So, if it were the case that it wasn't said it was Avatar, I'd still be underwhelmed. (Oh, yay, another "area" to walk and spend money in...) <- Sartalics would be perfect here! Has great potential, hope they do it better than Cars, which looks AMAZING!
