  1. It's a small world and it smells bad.
  2. Violation
  3. ^ that's two words, but whatever Scandal
  4. Just thought of another one that I'm kind of proud of. I've ridden every coaster at Canada's Wonderland during it's first week of operation. This includes the original 5 that opened with the park in 1981 and also Taxi Jam (which I rode with my nephew on opening day in 1998).
  5. CeNtrifugaL
  6. I was there once when I was 11, but my memory of being there is fuzzy at best. It feels like a first time trip.
  7. My next park will be Walt Disney World in February 2015. Unless I spontaneously go to California at Christmas (which is remotely possible) or I fall in a wood chipper (which is within the realm of possibility at all times).
  8. an open letter to Prince: Doves have neither tear ducts nor salivary glands.
  9. I'll most likely have recurring fitful dreams about fried chocolate pickles for the remainder of my life.
  10. I have been on every B&M and Intamin coaster in Canada.
  11. Standing outside the entrance to Kingswood Music Theatre makes me wistful for days gone by.
  12. I spend countless hours planning extremely detailed Summer coaster trips: generating airfare, car rental and lodging quotes, researching and comparing hotels, planning driving routes, considering which roadside attractions interest me, checking back frequently for deals and such to trim the budget and even looking at restaurant menus. I usually only take one or two trips per Summer, but I thoroughly research 12 to 15 completely different trips before making my final decisions in the Spring.
  13. Leviathan (CW opening weekend in May) Leviathan (CW closing weekend in October) I didn't plan it that way; it just happened.

  16. The Bach 6 ½ AL is one of the best trombone mouthpiece sizes for students. Some students will need to move to a larger mouthpiece by high school, such as a Bach 5G, but many will not.
  17. Wow, I can't believe it's been 2 months already. Time to change the filter in my Keurig. See ya'll in 2 months.
  18. Launched coasters. Front. Otherwise, I like big butts and I can not lie.
  19. Canada's Wonderland is my home park and I love it. The distinction of favourite park goes to Six Flags Great Adventure though (with Hersheypark coming in a very close second).
  20. The first time I rode Tomb Raider (now Time Warp) at CW. It was doing what I now know to be it's standard "beat the living daylights out of you" thing when a large nut (the type that screws onto a bolt) appeared out of nowhere rattling around the cage. It cracked me in the head and blood was flying every which way. When I got off the ride I looked (and felt) like I had just been mauled by a tiger. Hardly a near death experience, but I did get 4 stitches in my forehead. I've ridden it once since then and even without the bludgeoning it was still a miserable experience. I always quicken my pace a little when walking past it.
  21. Loving this TR and your perspective. You started posting it on the exact same day I began booking my 2015 trip to Orlando. I've been hanging on every word you type.
  22. I've already booked and paid for a February trip to Orlando. Haven't been to WDW since I was 11 so it's kind of a big deal for me. FOR SURE: WDW BGT Universal CW PROBABLY: Liseberg Gröna Lund Djurs Sommerland HOPEFULLY: Lagoon SFMM I've been trying to get to Liseberg for several years. More than anywhere else it's the park I most want to visit in 2015.
  23. - Vekoma SLC - B&M invert - Intamin Stand Up - B&M Stand Up - Togo Stand Up and the park is called: La Ronde À L'infini
  24. A couple of years ago I went to SFMM on the final Monday in August. It was a gorgeous sunny day, the park was basically empty and miraculously everything was running. I felt like a king.
  25. I just started "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" by Dave Eggers. I'm only 7 pages in. So far all 7 pages have been great.
