  1. Hi and welcome to this Photo TR, i hope you will enjoy reading and mostly just looking at some of my newest pictures. Last week me and my girlfriends went on a holiday to England. A place with many themeparks and some real classic coasters. Well lets stop the talk and lets get down to business... Nope, even more talk ahead. After we arrived in England we got denied a rental car So this was a huge disappointment for us, and we had to make some changes to our plans. But lucky enough we got around pretty good with public transport and with a wheelchair too... After a long journey, we made it! We welcome you all to Drayton Manor... ...home of Thomas Land, and more! So that's why we are here for? YES! It's our first credit of the year, and ofcourse we start in style with a kiddie-credit. Feel the Thrill! Fell the Speed! Feel the Anger! Well time for a little more G-Force? Or do you prefer GeForce, well do you? GeForce? Really!? But, but, but... ...! Then just enjoy, me! Time for some Europian Stand-Up Horror? Ehh, Joy! The smoothest ride in the park is a Vekoma? HUH!? Zoo time! He! Walking here... Have you seen Harry around here lately? Time for the last credit of the day... Some random flats... OMG! It's the Buffalo coaster! Woohoo! Well thank you, but not going home yet...
  2. I also vote for Europe on this one While the US has some really big and amazing rides spread out of the country don't forget Europe has them too! And possibly some even better overall parks here in Europe, still thank Six Flags for installing Goliath at Walibi Holland
  3. Well it's looks pretty... That's about it!
  4. Coming all the way over from Holland to ride the coaster this year! Can't wait to test the Voyage, Legend and Raven for myself. Too bad about the timberliners not running this year, really liked them on Wooden Warrior in 2011
  5. Might visit this one day! Still a lot of credits to do around that part of Germany... Great pics as always, Hanno!
  6. ^Well maybe it only hurts when your tall enough like you, Hans. Never get tired of looking at GeForce!
  7. Washing machines elements are so 2012!
  8. Well somehow i just hope that Led Zeppelin moves to another park. Think it will fit in well with studio type parks, maybe even Universal Studios Hollywood?
  9. It's also a Simpsons-secret: '' Every ride has to end in/near the giftshop!''
  10. Well my coaster with the most rides in has to be Dutch Goliath! Don;t get to the park very often anymore, but still on of my favorite rides in the World!
  11. Someday i will visit these places too! Great pics Gary!
  12. Didn't the New England Cyclone alreadt get Topper Track in 2011? I doubt that it will get an Iron Horse make-over soon... My vote still goes to Colossos at SFMM, and when already having a crew in SoCal they could do Topper Track for Ghostrides as well Well as untill now i didn't get a change to ride them, but still planning a trip for 2014
  13. This is looking great with the big blue sky behind it!
  14. Sorry to say, but i don't see solar panels in these pictures. Or am i overlooking something?
  15. Great start, Gary! Can't wait for more...
  16. I just always like that shots!
  17. - I would say Birmingham and or East Midlands Airport, i did an EMA visit in 2008. But i would not do that again, i think Birmingham would be the easier way Don't know for train service from airport to Alton - There a bus from Stoke on Trent trainstation - The AT Hotel is just great! - Not really budget, but the North Stafford Hotel is opposite from the trainstation(at least by the looks of it on Booking). - Maybe Drayton Manor, but i don't think thats easy with public transport.
  18. 'Oh crap!' We should have a pic like that this summer too! Great ones again Hanno!
  19. I'm going to England in May for myself. Only i just passed for my license, so i'll have a car. Public Transports seems to be good, i would say if your going to Alton you can also go to Blackpool Just don't expect to do it in a daytrip but take out 5 days in total for it Day 1: Travel to Blackpool from everywhere(Possibly Londen). Day 2: Visit Blackpool Pleasure Beach Day 3: Travel from Blackpool to Alton. Day 4: Visit Alton Towers. Day 5: Travel from Alton to Londen. I would also like to say that public transport around the Londen area is just as good as here in Holland. But outside of Londen and maybe the Liverpool/Manchester Area. It's still good but there not so much trains/busses as in the city's For a hotel near Londen i would consider to look around the Heathrow Airport. There much better price and their close to Thorpe ect... And if your a club TPR member maybe buy an Merlin Annual Pass, this also include some of Blackpool's and Londen's other attractions
  20. 1. Maverick! ...(big gap here) 2. Millennium Force 3. Top Thrill Dragster 4. Raptor 5. Magnum everything else blurs after that...
