  1. 1. Nemesis! 2. Montu 3. Katun 4. Batman La Fuga(and other clones) 5. Talon Monster at Walygator is really pushing for that #5 spot...
  2. The biggest disapointments for me where: Millenium Force and Bizarro(SFNE). Both where voted best rollercoaster in the world and still get great comments from others in the fanboy worlds. But for me both of them are a let down what i would expect from rides like this. Both are great and awesome rides, it's just that i was hoping for something more i guess. Well maybe riding I305 before riding those 2 was not the best choice, but a top ride will always kickass when compared to other coasters. Sometimes it's a tie... and: Yin you crack me up with those names...
  3. Don't miss out on Phantasialand! Heide Park(Hamburg) is in North Germany, where Holiday(Near Frankfurt) and Europa(1 hour above Basel) are more South Germany. Phantasialand(Cologne) is about half way there...
  4. ^^Well Knoebels is just awesome! It has a great sence of family friendliness, and everything about that place just screams: 'ride me too!' Something i'm just missing at other non-themeparks, Lagoon is proberly the same thing from what i've heared.
  5. Importance of Theming? For me it's all about the parks before i look at the rides. There is also a big differance between 'Attraction Parks' & 'Themeparks' for me. I can still enjoy both of them, and some Attraction Parks are putting more and more themes near there newer rides. A good ride will always be good, but the theming just makes it look better. And with theming there is more to see and enjoy at the parks. Wich for me makes want to spend more time there, most Attraction Parks lose my attention after a couple of hours and your jusr running for one ride towards another ride. When at a Themepark i could also just sit and have a drink and just look around and enjoy other people having a good time.
  6. So here's my opinion on these rides: Europa Park - Silver Star: Great ride, some floater air over the hills. - Blue Fire: My favorite at the park! Just before Eurosat and Euromir! Don't forget about those too... Mirabilandia - Katun: On of the best B&M inverts i've ridden! On par with Montu for me! -I SPEED: AMAZING! Can reride everytime everyday! Tripsdrill -Mammut: Smooth & fun! But nothing other then that. -G nseaew ( However You Spell It ): Great family coaster, more parks need rides like this. Toverland - Troy: Another GCI, this was my first GCI. But does alot of the same stuff as other GCI i've ridden by now. Still solid and great ride! Heide Park - Desert Race: Great launch! Smooth and very fun! - Colossos: One of my favorites woodie's! Great airtime, to bad about that back breaking helix. Oakwood: Haven't visited park untill now. - Speed - Megaphobia Park Asterix - Tonneree De Zeus: Also on of my favorites woodie's, can be rough but a very good ride! It's crazy! - Gourdix: Crap! Your welcome...
  7. Some awesome pics! And as always a great TR! Is it April yet?
  8. Friends of mine told me that Norway is the most expensive between Denmark, Norway and Sweden. But Scandi is know for being expensive, for me i would prefer to visit Farup Sommerland(Free entry with club tpr, last year!) and Djurs Sommerland over Tusenfryd. There is a Ferry between Frederikshavn and Gothenborg. And even one between Frederikshavn and Oslo.
  9. If you have 5 days i would stay in Kopenhagen and make a day trip out of Liseberg with the train(takes about 4 hours). Leave Kopenhagen very early in the morning and you can be at Liseberg before it even opens, then take the last train back to Kopenhagen. Or you could spend a night in Gothenborg, and visit the city as well. Did a train trip back in 2011, saw a train to Gothenborg and took it!
  10. Thanks Elissa, Recently i went back to the travel agency and now i got a different story. So i only booked my themepark tickets and a hotel in Tampa with them. They had a great deal on the 10 days Disney tickets and Orlando Flexticket! Somehow they could not make a reservation with a preferred option anymore. So i decided to book my own hotel, looked around for the Disney Resort(Port Orleans). And it was way more expensive then with the travel agengy. So i decided to book a hotel outside of Disney(Marriott Springhill Suites, Lake Buena Vista), i can cancel it untill the 19th of September so when a great Disney Deal comes in i can still take that!
  11. And what's up with that strange Google Translate translation? Will i be looking forward to riding Baron 1898 this summer? Yes, ofcourse! It's a mayor new ride that will be great for many parks around the world. Will it be favorites material? Proberly not, but it looks fun to ride and watch over the coming years! Lot's of rides in Europe got hyped these past years for me, i'm with Robb on that part. Oh no! I'm European how can i say that? Well, because i've ridden most of them by now and think that they didn't live up to the ground breaking rides some gave them to be on Dutch forums. Am i still looking forward to riding other hype coasters in Europe? Helix is the one that comes to mind, and yes i'm still looking forward to that one! A good friend bashed that coaster even before TPR got there last year, and we have many of the same rides on our high spots of favorites! FAVORITES! Not top 10,20,30... I can't really list my favorites, they are just to different. But back to Baron. Will i be there on opening day? Maybe, maybe not. Don't know if i will make the trip that day, but it will proberly be fast after opening!
  12. ^You are welcome to come and try it this summer! Think it looks great! Seems very Efteling to me, looked at the tower this past weekend. It sounds low but 30m looks high enough...
  13. Hello everybody, Since i'm planning on doing a trip to Orlando in September(20/09-03/10), i've got a little question to ask you guys. Do the buildings at the Port Orleans Resort have elevators? I'm asking this because at the dutch travel agency i just asked a price from can't give me a 100% guarantee that we will get a accessible room. They can only prefer it towards Disney somehow. Since the price was very interesting compared to others i prefer to book with them. And since i don't want to let my girlfriend walk to much over our stay(she needs a wheelchair and has an ECV to get around in town), i don't want to take any changes with her having to walk up and down stairs if we don't get an accessible room. Walking in the room itself isn't a problem, as long as she doesn't need to walk to long. Thank you!
  14. That seems like a great spot, let's build a coaster! Oh, wait...
  15. Or they don't announce anything until it opens... That whould get the crowds pumped if you ask me, really on these kinds of forums.
  16. Me like! Still sad that i had to miss this TPR trip... Great tripreport! Tha'd' makes everything a little bit better...
  17. For other things to do, you could use: www.coast2coaster.eu it's a map showing 'all' coasters on the planet. And it includes Alpines too... That are the weeks of the Germans Easter holidays, don't know about crowds. But Europa just eats people with their rides and shows! For discounts you could check if you still get free entry to Europa with Liseberg or Tivoli Season Pass. This used to be the deal, don't know if it still works this way. It does with Efteling.
  18. I don't really look for forcefull or forceless coasters, i prefer the ones that make me smile the most. But talking about G-Forces i prefer airtime over everything else, nothing beats being pulled out of my seat and flying over that hill. Big or small it all counts to me.
  19. Good bye! I'm wondering what will become of that huge part of land in the middle of the park. It could pit an entire themed land in there, something like Curse of the DarKastle would be great! And prehaps they could fit in something like the smaller Gravity Group Woodie's(Wooden Warrior/Twister) in there too
