  1. Well now, at least that's an...easier cycle.
  2. A "new" slide. Poor Ontario Place...
  3. First Look! New B&M Wing Coaster train for Nolimits Coaster Simulation - coming this Christmas! These are just like the trains on Gatekeeper at Cedar Point! Check out NoLimits Coaster Simulation here: http://www.nolimitscoaster.com/
  4. The foundation's being poured, and coaster parts are currently on a ship somewhere on the Atlantic Ocean. I'm not too fond of the X amount of cubic yards of concrete - hopefully they'll be able to do something to cover most of it up.
  5. My goodness, what a potentially vomit-inducing ride program...
  6. I was also wondering this! I'm guessing that they will Not that I'll make it out to ride this, I'm kinda hoping for the old restraints. I find them to be so much more comfortable. Those Dive Coaster trains are already wide enough, having the new seats / harnesses will just make them even wider. I'm with the "no" crowd on this one.
  7. I'm not so sure about that, I would consider Loch Ness Monster as the coaster with the shorter lines. It's the only major coaster in the park that doesn't use quick queue because quite frankly I'm not sure it never needs it. Also, Alpengeist's mid-course brake did slow the train down but, at least this season, still kept the train going fast enough to whip through the zero-G and the corkscrew. It did kind of meander after that though.
  8. A lot of news outlets seem to be referring to this project as a "BBC theme park" but I'm pretty sure the BBC IP will only exist in a large "land" or two, much like how Islands of Adventure splits between Marvel, Seuss, Jurassic Park, cartoons, Harry Potter, etc but without the islands.
  9. I'm disappointed that I never got to ride Alpengeist as it was back in the late 90s but it's still crazy-awesome, and my favorite inverted coaster.
  10. Found this interesting article while perusing my favorite Doctor Who fansite... http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/bbc-theme-park-set-to-feature-top-gear-doctor-who-and-sherlock-to-open-in-2012-9915192.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/11284388/BBC-to-open-theme-park-to-exploit-Doctor-Who-and-Top-Gear-brands.html http://www.theguardian.com/media/2014/dec/10/bbc-theme-park-sherlock-doctor-who-top-gear-hollywood This is an interesting idea, absolutely! But, like many other developments like this, we won't know if it will actually happen until it opens its gates...
  11. I would argue that the brakes are there for the sheer terror of looking down over the drop rather than G forces.
  12. No, but it's definitely a coaster. Really big surprise right at the beginning though, caught me off guard.
  13. The smallest ZacSpin is over ten feet taller than Avatar Airbender, and even in a pit Avatar Airbender almost touches the ceiling...
  14. But it's an Intamin just like Kanonen. In fact, it pretty much is a clone of Kanonen, only with a lifthill-drop instead of a launch. And mirrored. And slightly bigger. But the layout is exactly the same. Yeah, it seems like a 110 percent scale Kanonen. All of the elements, the loop, airtime hill and heartline roll especially, seem drawn out.
  15. Both Dragon Challenge coasters are definitely up there. The sidewinder-spiral thingie on Chinese Fireball is probably one of my favorite elements on a coaster ever.
  16. Is the general consensus that Rip Ride Rockit that it's not a good coaster? I made my first visit to the resort yesterday and it ended up being my favorite coaster attraction on the entire property though a lot of my friends were kind of indifferent toward it.
  17. This one looks...interesting. I'm guessing that the long straight bit will have brakes on it?
  18. That one AND a certain blue one built in Hershey, PA...
  19. Considering that at least two major 2015 roller coasters in the US will have vertical loops, I think that they're still a thing. Also re: shoulder harnesses, it all depends on the train design.
  20. So you come to our games forum to advertise what's effectively a Let's Play. Why don't you make some posts in the other forums first? Tell you what - I'll make this easy and lock your thread so you don't have a choice.
  21. Eh, I feel like Premier would mention that they're working on "a project" for the park off-handedly at the show. I wouldn't expect some grand announcement along the lines of Antarctica last year.
  22. The source didn't explicitly say which direction the track was going, did they? I-64, at least Eastbound, is the way to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, even if they spotted the track west of Richmond. I-64 goes straight through Richmond. I'm fairly certain that the track in the source's photo is for Busch Gardens Williamsburg's new coaster. Zierer used this kind of track on Wicked, their other tower coaster...
  23. I'm pretty sure riding Flying Turns counts as an achievement.
  24. To add some context to this, some of Knoebels' attractions are trailer-mounted but have existed in the exact same spot for years.
  25. My goodness, that looks vomit-inducing.
