  1. Yeah, I do like everything else about it. Can't beat a 450 HP base model, and I can't wait to see more specifics on the Z51 trim.
  2. I'm not sure what to think of the new C7 Vette. I wish they had kept round rear lights.
  3. Nice drawings! I like A the best. It looks the the Blue Batmobile overlays for the Impreza hatchbacks, and I've always been a fan.
  4. That reminds me of a picture I have saved from when the PS3 was released. Don't go too overboard...save some for the people that actually want to play the console instead of re-sell it.
  5. When I'm somewhere and see signs like "Do not climb on the railing," I always think something like that is unnecessary and self-explanatory. Unfortunately and sadly in our society they are needed everywhere we go. What goes through these parents' minds when performing such acts like dangling their child on/over a railing? Poor kid.
  6. The plastic look is because it is unpainted. There are also color-matched versions, and the OEM Ground Effects package from GM can be color-matched. Aftermarket Splitter GM Ground Effects Pretty much any cosmetic external accessory one can buy for the Camaro can come either painted or unpainted, depending on what the buyer chooses. Another popular accessory that can be either is the Heritage Grille.
  7. When I was shopping around for cars, I test drove a solid yellow Camaro SS that didn't have any stripes or anything. I like loud colors, but with no stripes to add balance, that was a bit too much in my opinion. I really like the accents and striping on the yellow TF3 Camaros, though. I love my 45th Edition Camaro in Carbon Flash Metallic, but I think my absolute favorite Camaro/Corvette color is Inferno Orange Metallic with subtle black accents. ------------------------------------------- On a different note, Chevrolet is going to offer a production Hotwheels version of the Camaro starting early next year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EU7L5vyK22U More pictures can be found here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=258165
  8. I disagree. I think the green and black combo is one of the best looking color options for the Boss 302.
  9. Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. I haven't seen WT with wheel covers in a long time. I had forgotten it even had them at one point! I've always been amazed at Son of Beast's massive structure. It's mesmerizing.
  10. A Platinum Pass grants you unlimited access to all Cedar Fair properties, amusement or water park. Your group car would get free parking, yes, as long as you are in the car. I did that quite a few times this summer, just hand the card up to the driver to present it to the person at the booth. Early Entry is usually never crowded, and is basically an ERT session. At least I have never experienced a crowded Early Entry. This summer, I did EE at Kings Island, Canada's Wonderland, and multiple times at Cedar Point. All were basically marathon sessions. Most notably, I rode Diamondback 11 times without having to leave the seat. Cedar Point is about the same, you just keep running around and ride as much as you can, assuming they don't let you stay in the seat or the ride setup doesn't allow it (TTD, MF).
  11. Similar to what Robb said, I think it depends more on the ops themselves, not the park or ride. I have been denied in some of your DO parks, while I have been allowed in some of your DON'T parks. Also, there are many times I have been both allowed and denied on the same ride, during separate occasions, but under the same circumstances.
  12. That's just it. B&M doesn't push the envelope AT ALL. Every one of their coasters is a cookie-cutter of another. Intamin is new, innovative, much more thrilling, and their rides put parks on the map. This looks like a fun and cool coaster, but the hype just isn't there for me on this one. I remember when MF and TTD were being built, the anticipation and wonder were through the roof. Gatekeeper is more of a meh feeling, because I know it's going to feel identical to B&Ms out there most of us have already ridden.
  13. When I was there in late July it was raining pretty good, but everything was still open. I was impressed!
  14. Kingda Ka has magnetic fins at the top that slow the train down before it descends.
  15. For anyone playing Guild Wars 2, just a warning that there have been a LOT of phishing attempts lately. A password change and activation of their e-mail verification system is probably a good idea. I got an e-mail this morning saying someone from Budapest, Hungary tried to log into my account, and reading their forums, there have been many attempts from China, Japan, etc.. Here's a good comic on how to make a strong password.
  16. I have always been impressed with Kennywood's Ghostwood Estate. They wanted to create a great ride, so they brought in someone from the outside (Halloween Productions Inc.) that had experience and knew what they were doing, instead of trying to throw something together themselves. In my opinion, that's the way to go if a park wishes to do more than just decorate a ride.
  17. Just bought Sleeping Dogs for 360. Really good game so far...pretty much GTA in Hong Kong.
  18. Mantis also has a dive loop, it's the element after the vertical loop.
  19. That post was edited to add the art when it was released.
  20. Maverick was leaked a day or two in advance also. It's not easy keeping things like this under wraps these days with so many ways to access the information.
  21. I'm sure the opening will be delayed a month at least.
  22. ^ Maybe the tunnel/opening itself (I doubt it, though), but not the track.
  23. Yeah, only the heartline roll was modified. It was replaced with a milder S-curve. The turn at the end of the tunnel leading up into the trim brakes was untouched.
  24. From what I have read, it is definitely going to be different to what everyone is accustomed, and there will be a good amount of changes. Die-hard Halo fans might not be so keen on this one, but I think it's for the better. The series needs a little refreshing.
