  1. I am interested too. It does look like it could be fun. Now if they had a mode like Titan in Battlefield 2142, that would be awesome!
  2. I know with the Express system, staying at an on-site hotel/resort meant that your room key doubled as an Express Pass. Are they still going to do this (in some form) with the Q-Bots? Thanks for the update! As stated, Despicable Me looks great!
  3. Looking awesome! I can't wait to get there and ride it!
  4. Apparently the Travel Channel shoot that was supposed to happen on Millennium Force Saturday Morning was moved to Monday. I wonder if Wildcat being in such close proximity was the reason? I hope Millennium will be ready for when the park opens on Saturday.
  5. I believe they took down the other cams temporarily because of the Luminosity construction.
  6. I think a wooden coaster built by Intamin would be a good addition ANYWHERE in the US. It's mind-boggling how there is only ONE in the entire country.
  7. ^ Just ignore people like that and keep your chin up. Paying attention to them and reacting to their antics is exactly what they want, and will only drag you down in the long run. He obviously has insecurities in his own life that need justifying by constantly making fun of you. I usually feel more pity towards those type of people, more than hatred, for that exact reason.
  8. One other thing I neglected to mention is the fact that Crosby has a camera on him every minute of every shift of every game. So of course every single one of his actions is going to be put under the microscope, no matter how minuscule, to be analyzed, re-analyzed, and over-analyzed by everyone in the hockey world.
  9. ^ We get it, you hate Crosby and the Penguins, you've made that clear in every one of your posts since the playoffs have started. You haven't said a single thing about your own team, and you're so hell-bent on bringing down Sidney Crosby, you have completely ignored the fact that Hunter has publicly called out Boston for targeting Backstrom's head. But talking shit on Sidney Crosby is way more important than the fact that a team is purposely targeting one of your star, recently concussion-riddled players, right? I'll admit that act was a bit childish, but it's not like things like that don't ever happen at all (Pronger does shit like this all the time). It plainly had a purpose. He's doing whatever he can to try and get the Flyers off their game and get his team back revved up. I've been to games where a goalie would lose his stick and the other team would purposely knock it away from him. Things like that happen all the time, and much more in the playoffs, this one just so happened to be caught by a TV camera. Besides, Philly is obviously having no difficulties whatsoever getting under the skin of every single player on the Penguins, so what did you expect Crosby to do? Go and shake his hand, thanking him for a rousingly good series? "He fought Giroux, who's smaller than Crosby" - You act like Crosby is some Chara-sized monster. They are the same freaking height and listed at only a 20-something pound difference between the two! You criticize Crosby for fighting, then criticize him for "punking out." Pick one! You have no idea what was said between the two teams during every minute of every scrum (or even during regular play for that matter). You're forming these opinions and jumping to these conclusion based on the actions you see on TV alone, which is very little to go off in the grand scheme of things. I'm sorry, I have been holding back for most of the playoffs because I am completely and utterly embarrassed by just about everything involving the Penguins, but your posts are starting to irk me.
  10. The Penguins are embarrassing themselves and their fans by acting that way and showing everyone that the Flyers are getting under their skin and off their game, to perfection.
  11. CF seems to be going down a lot lately also. Hopefully everything will eventually be sorted out.
  12. Awesome! Can't wait to see more!
  13. I can see it now, a PHI vs LA Stanley Cup Final with Carter and Richards raising the Cup at the Wells Fargo Center as members of the Los Angeles Kings.
  14. What a joke the Penguins are right now.
  15. "The industry" is still doing just fine. Plan smart and you never have to worry about crowds. Ever. I've been going to Cedar Point my entire life and have never waited an obnoxiously long time for anything (while still being able to ride everything I wanted during every single one of my visits). I am absolutely ecstatic about this. Considering I work 50+ hours a week, going on weekends in the middle of the summer no longer makes me cringe. Heck, I could even see what it's like at the Point on the 4th of July now if I wanted to, without any worry. This is an awesome thing, and it opens up so many opportunities for someone like me (and many other people I'm sure).
  16. ^ I thought the same thing. Some possible foreshadowing perhaps? Awesome pics!
  17. ^ It probably depends on how prone you are to motion sickness. I'm guessing that because you're an amusement park enthusiast, you wouldn't have any problems. Some people with severe cases get dizzy or nauseous from playing regular, non-3D games also. I'm guessing that warning is more there for liability reasons, like the seizure warnings. Anyway, a few days ago I bought a Nintendo 64 off Ebay. I traded mine in years and years ago and have regretted it ever since. I can't wait until it gets here!
  18. The reaction by Hartnell proves that Cy Clark's antics work to perfection. For an elite talent like Hartnell to publicly mock a fan is completely elementary. When you make it known that you see any fan, or anti-fan in this case, they will milk it for all it’s worth and get the best, or worst, of you in any way, shape, or form they can.
  19. There is more to building a new ride than just visual vertical construction. Just because you don't see any activity, doesn't mean there isn't any...
  20. ^ There are endless possibilities. I'm not going to sit here for hours in MS Paint highlighting all the areas, but there are a ton. Up front by the entrance in DD's old spot, by WT near Ocean Motion's old spot, behind Raptor where Calypso and the car ride is all the way up to Wildcat (and even including the old Pirate Ride building's spot if need be I guess), all the space in Frontiertown, next to Mean Streak, next to Millennium near SRF, SRF's spot itself, behind Millennium near the rapids ride, next to Gemini, next to Maverick/CCMR where the cars and buildings (shows) are, so on and so forth. Heck, if they wanted to they could even take a coaster all they way outside the park to the water like they did with Magnum. That's just from a layman's perspective, I'm sure construction and architectural experts cam come up with 100 times more spots than I can. You'd be amazed how much land is freed up by simply moving a flat or two here and there, and/or re-routing the train or one of the three car rides they own. Trust me, they are nowhere near to running out of room, and don't need to remove a coaster to build another.
  21. According to coaster enthusiasts, the contract has expired every year for around the past 5 years or so. First it was an "exclusive" contract, then it turned into a "limited to the US" exclusive contract after DMs started popping up in different countries, now it's "the contract has expired so we should see another Dive Machine any time now." Honestly, the supposed "contract" is and always has been a myth. *Maybe* they had one for a year or two before the Dive Machine novelty wore off, but I think it's just the fact that parks don't have any desire to build one. Not that I believe this is going to Cedar Point...as a matter of fact I DON'T think it will at all (as I have said numerous times in previous posts), but they have plenty of space. People thought the same thing before MF and TTD, and they managed two monster coasters that took the title of world's tallest and fastest.
  22. ^ No one knows for sure, but that's what the general assumption is based on the coding found on the track labels. As much as I would like to see one, I think we are years off from seeing Kennywood getting a large coaster like a B&M or Intamin, sadly, if they ever do at all. Maybe Dollywood will show Kennywood that it's possible to still keep the traditional atmosphere of a park even after adding a massive B&M.
  23. ^^ I'm still confident in the coding system, and that it's a wingrider. Everyone seemed very confident in what each code meant back in the yellow B&M thread, now they're all of a sudden a mystery? I also would not be surprised if this is for an international park.
  24. I second this statement. How do we know for sure this is a Wing Coaster and not a Mega/Giga or a Dive Machine? I'm not gonna jump to conclusions yet about where this is going. I have a feeling a US park is getting it though. There's a chance that someone in Asia has their eye on it, but it's way too early to tell at this point. I'm guessing the "WI" on the label. The track gauge seems too small to be a Dive Machine anyway.
