  1. GADV season pass!
  2. I'm starting to plan my summer theme park trips, two are already set!
  3. CP is also getting Skyscraper from Valleyfair! that will replace the X-treme Trampolines in Challenge Park. CP Blog Screamscape V2 only has one twisted spike.
  4. Because they're effin bad a$$ and intense as hell! Duh! What other rides (besides GIB's) do you fall straight down 177 feet in inverted style trains? I second that. The experience on GIBs is absolutely insane and unlike any other! Just the way you slowly creep up the spike as ALL your body weight is on the restraint, is terrifying! It is one of my favorite coaster experiences.
  5. No, I see them fine. I just can't pass this test.
  6. ^ Yeah, same here. I really want to see this ride take shape!
  7. I was planning to go there this summer, now this is an extra bonus! Hopefully, as already stated, they'll rebuild Batman as well one of these years.
  8. I'm red-green colorblind!
  9. Institute - Bullet Proof Skin and Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen (PS3 )
  10. If they do keep this running well, I'll have to take a trip there. Hope I win the naming contest!
  11. Big Dipper at Geauga Lake. The first time I rode it, it jammed my neck and it hurt for a good week. I decided to give it a second chance this past summer and the same thing happened.
  12. Link to article. I wonder if this will affect the movie, which will then affect the various "Dark Knight" coasters around the country that Six Flags is building.
  13. My favorite is Drop Zone at KI.
  14. I went to KI in the beginning of August last year and let me tell you, the park was DEAD (except the water park). I don't think you'll need a whole day there to ride everything. It all depends if anything is closed in the beginning of the day. Assuming you've never been there before and want to ride all the major coasters, of course. When I went, Son of Beast was closed half the day and opened at roughly 3:00 pm, so it's basically a hit or miss with that aspect. You just have to be lucky.
  15. I actually really enjoy going to Kings Island because going there means I also get to see my cousin that lives in Cincinnati whom I rarely see. We have some pretty good times hanging out there.
  16. I doubt they'd sell Magic Mountain. In my opinion, I don't think they will. That is one of their "crown jewel" parks, if you will, and they need to get rid of the ones that are making them a lot less money.
  17. Do you or does anyone know what program they used? Also, yes, WT is the tallest and fastest impulse in the world and the only impulse with 2 twisted spikes.
  18. ^ You're thinking of the Thunderhawk that used to be at Geauga Lake and is headed to Michigan's Adventure. The Thunderhawk at Dorney Park is a wooden coaster. http://rcdb.com/ig239.htm?picture=13
  19. Too bad Wildcat kills your knees. Hurts just thinking about it. I'm only 6'1" and it hurt pretty bad. As for MF, I think it's overrated now, but not in it's early years. It's getting too shakey now, it vibrates too much, and has become a rough ride. I'll still ride it multiple times when I go to CP, but I won't enjoy it as much as I did, say, 5 years ago.
  20. I'm sorry, I don't follow. Kennywood does need another big coaster and they need to stop fooling around with these small rides. They need it mainly to draw people away from other rides, going in July or August, the lines are always too long. Racer is spilling out past the shooting gallery, it's an hour for the Log Jammer, Thunderbolt is full (although that moves quick), Phantom's 3 mile long bridge is full, then you get to the station which is ridiculous, Jack Rabbit is full, and Exterminator is full inside and outside. It's not worth waiting that long for something you've been on numerous times, hence why I said it's become a boring place to go because there's nothing else to do in that case. Besides, no matter what they do or add, I don't think Kennywood would ever become like, say, Geauga Lake. Only because Kennywood is the only park to go to around here. The nearest "big" park is 3 hours away, which is long enough away.
  21. This is awesome. Maybe this company will put in that needed B&M, or maybe even a Stunt Fall clone. While the old owners were always liked by me and everyone else and this is a sad thing, I think it was time for a change. I, honestly was getting pretty bored of the same old thing every year.
  22. This may sound unusual, but I like the lift hill the best, especially if it's a tall and slow one. I get to look around, talk with my friends/family next to me, and hear the awesome sound of the train going up the hill.
  23. I do it for both, to ride things I haven't ridden before with my family/friends while enjoying myself, and to get more credits. I couldn't care less how many I have, it's just a fun way to keep track of what I have ridden, especially when one gets torn down or becomes SBNO, I know for sure that I rode it. It's also fun to see like how many of each type I have ridden. Are credits a competition? Of course not. Just a way to make things more fun.
