That's not a Larson; I believe it's an SBF/Visa. The catch car on a Larson is MUCH smaller than the one shown in the picture gerstlaueringvar posted. I could be wrong about it being from SBF but for sure it's not a Larson. It's a Fabbri tower

I'm just so god damn excited! We here in Sweden have become so spoilt in recent years! I still can't believe this thing is real. And to think this is only the start of Kolmården's amusement attractions, I can't wait to see what it looks like in 20 years with all the attractions and animals combined I love the direction Parks and Resort have been taking with their parks the last 10 years, becoming more involved in the new rides that are on the market, and more corporation with North American producers. In this pace, I would not be surprised if we even see something amazing at Skara in the coming years. Megalite anyone?

I would really love for Kolmården to turn out to the Swedish version of Epcot! I'm expecting a coaster here though, it fit's so well with what have been said here and in First Drop Magazine, as well as the ride's budget. I haven't speculated anything in this thread, so I don't think I should start now. Funny how busy I have been in school, I haven't really noticed these last weeks, it feels like I learned about this project just three days ago. One things for sure, I will have my computer with me at tomorrows lecture 10 o'clock!

I really like the look of it now! I was a little bit disappointed when I saw the trains go around without the car attached, as it looked really slow ( I know it's a family ride). The reason I thought so was because the earlier animations the trains were not spinning on the outside section. Now with this video it looks awesome doing some slow spinning along the track (also looks like it's running a little bit faster)! I wanna (like the rest of this board) go to Europa Park now!

Lightning Run!

An update on my favorite project for the year! It's shaping up nicely, but still a crapload of work left. The slides will go vertical next week. Speed slide with drop box. Nice! Theming? The wave pool is getting a whacky pattern. VIP pool. Mat racer! Source

Saw this the other day! I think it's really great that water parks is starting to add splash battles, it fits perfectly into the concept.

I like the look of that! It just looks like it misses that "tiny tiny spot" of aggressiveness that the Intamin version have. Can't wait to see a summer heat POV of this thing. Oh believe me, there is definitely ejector air on that hill!

I know that Maurer uses Stakotra for their X-car trains (at least they used to), they may produce their smaller vehicles themselves though. I think Vekoma may outsource some of their newer trains as well, at least that's what I remember from when I read about the Battlestar Galactica accident. Vekoma blamed the manufacturer for the seat loosening, and the manufacturer blamed Vekoma's specifications.

It's an Intamin ride. Only number that have been released is that it's the parks biggest investment in a single attraction ever.

Holy crapballs, that looks awesome! I love the disco room during the backwards section! Contender for best flume in the world? Looks like it could be. Can't wait to try it in a couple of years!
