  1. I remember now what this park is, they are the ones who bought the first Aquacourse attraction! Source
  2. I'm following this with excitement! Can't wait for a POV.
  3. Roller coasters have a tendency to cost less in the US than Europe and Australia.
  4. I just remembered this project all of a sudden. I did some Korean googleing and this is what I found, looks pretty kick-ass so far. (I really have no idea on the date of them, or how fresh they are). Looks like the play structure will be a copy of the original giant one at Hershey. Also the Volcano in front of the giant surf pool will look pretty dope when it's finished. Here's a video with the ride conept art Here are some more photos, from right click protected sites, that I don't have the energy to work around right now. This one shows the volcano under construction This one shows the big Pythoon slide, as well as slides for the indoor park Source
  5. So hopefully Proslide water coaster coming soon!
  6. Seems like this park keeps making the perfect additions. Hopefully they will give it the length every fun house in the world deserves.
  7. Awesome! Can't wait to see the tower rise!
  8. ^ The only thing I dislike with Polin is that on some specific slide models there support work is horrible. Example:
  9. A launch of that magnitude wouldn't be efficient to use. Magnetic launches still tops out on around 120 km/h or 75 mph in order to be feasible.
  10. It's not very likely, Hopi Hari will most likely hold on to that one until they can afford to build it. If the rumors are true about all the Intamin rides, then they have most likely gotten a good package deal on the rides, so it's probably a new one.
  11. Ha Ha, so funny that you would notice this. It bugs me every time I look at the wave pool. This was a simple mistake made on the plans. it was supposed to be corrected but somehow got built the wrong way. Please don’t bring it up again and let’s pretend it’s there to make the waves bigger and better. Noted! Won't bring it up again. Is it an actual Polin wave machine, or is it a wave specific company who makes it, like Murphy's or American Wave Machines?
  12. Yeah, good luck to them to sell this ride!
  13. Good question, I'm not sure. It's probably only a building if I would guess
  14. That is awesome! Both trains should have been like that IMO.
  15. Looks like this park have now gone in to actual construction, so I start this thread. So far it is reported that the park will have an Intamin 10-inversion coaster, a Jetski coaster as well as a water coaster similar to Divertical. So far however, only a Zamperla spinning mouse, and what looks to be Volare track is on site, so we'll have to wait and see if the Intamin rides shows up or not. Here are a few photos: Some videos can be viewed here, here, here, here, here and here. Source The Zamperla track can be seen here.
  16. Any word on the height of this thing? I wonder if it will be same as Texas Starflyer/Eclipse or taller? Source
  17. Good thing the Mack factory is pretty close to Liseberg. Imagine if the ride was built in the US, then it would have had to be sent by air, probably costing around 50 000 dollars.
  18. What an awesome set of photos! Can't wait to see similar photos when the place is done! I noticed that the wave pool is slightly different on both sides, one edge is sharp, while the other is not, is there a reason for that that will make the waves better?
  19. I really like the new look for the flume ride! Source
  20. This is awesome news! They have distributed it for years, but now they can most likely make a pretty big profit on each one they sell.
  21. As I understood it the trains was the major factor in deciding, but yes, maintenance is easier on the Mack ride.
  22. This! Liseberg is very good at what they do, I donut think they would ever let the new development come at cost of the regular park. I wouldn't even be surprised if they continue to make some major investments in the park in the coming years, despite the developing of the new area. Turns out the Project Green Fire was going to be 84 meters tall or 275 feet. Now back to studying!
  23. An awesome update came today on the Facebook page! Love the color of this one! Looks like it will be a pretty big lazy river entrance outside of the wave pool Looks like they are going for some heavy theme on it. Really like the look of this Waterslide tower that isn't steel colored! Source
