That.Is.Awesome!!! So this would be one of the extremely few rides (along with Zacspin's) where I would actually prefer an OTSR instead of the new lap bar only design.

I have known this project for years, but I never thought it would open. It started building around 2011 I think, but then they ran out of funds. It looks like it is now back, and they have been moving fast this new year. The location is just a few minutes away from the Cartoon Network Amazone water park, close to the big tourist hub Pattaya. It's awesome that the Whitewater West curse of Thailand is over. I remember a lot of projects they have announced that have all died. Now the Vana Nava place is done, and this is happening. I really hope Mechanica rides better than the one at Skyline park, that ride wasn't exciting at all! But it's definitely gonna be a great looking ride!

It's actually very easy to see the difference, once you learn it. Proslide and Whitewater uses different manufacturing techniques for their body slides. This is from Proslide. It looks like regular water slide finish. This is from Whitewater. Notice that it's much more smooth and shiny. Same thing goes for their translucent slides. Proslide Whitewater

Damn it! I actually got excited to see the thread bumped, I was hoping for construction photos The park is in a very small place, kinda placed a bit off. Unless there is an enthusiast living closely (seriously doubt it) I don't think we will see any photos until the park releases them.

Interesting, they look to be from Whitewater. I have no idea why I excepted this to be from Proslide, considering Cedar Fair have recently bought from Whitewater mostly. This. They are for sure not brown. I would guess they are the dark orange color.

Unfortunately Skara is not adding anything for 2015. Hopefully some money will still be spent in general improvements, but I honestly have no idea. I think it's generally a bad thing when parks are not adding anything, as even the smallest of children's rides are something (they need a new toddler pool, for an example). If this is for saving up to a big attraction then I'm for it!

Oh, interesting! Yes, there's nothing wrong with the upper part of the trains, it's the technical bottom part who is the problem!

Really pointless addition IMO. Park should get a really high quality family coaster, or even two. Their current family coaster selection is a joke for a park of Cedar Points standard.
