  1. But if they really wanted the Sky Fly it could fit. Only the loading side needs a footprint. A Sky Roller can also be built with a loading platform similar to some of the Star Flyers. Only brainstorming here...
  2. Theres also a new smaller version coming out this year for Tivoli Friheden, it's called a Sky Racer. It's basically a small spinning wheel on the ground with rotating seats with wings, 16 meters in diameter. Should fit in nicely, if that's what they are going for.

  4. Great April-fools joke collaboration on Facebook between Gröna Lund and Liseberg about switching coasters. On the Liseberg page it actually looks a little bit legit due to the dismantling of Kanonen And who can forget last years April-fools joke about a 95m tall ride in this space
  5. It's a bit of dampening to relief the steel frame from stress
  6. Great news! maybe it's one of these new self-spinning rides from Gerstlauer/Technical Park?
  7. Thats a really great looking ride, the skyline looks super impressive!
  8. Looks like Plane-on-a-stick is coming to this park for 2017! The one in Milano have been for sale for quite some time and looks like it finally found a buyer.
  9. Biggest investment in park history for 2018. New hotel with 28 room and conference facilities. Really liking the direction the park is taking, it is on the road to growth.
  10. My palms are getting sweaty just by watching that video!
  11. iSpeed and Katun is insanely hard to beat.
  12. Been thinking the park needs a good solid family thrill ride. This looks perfect and very unique! If I know Intamin right we will probably see the concept evolved further down the road.
  13. Here we go, courtesy of CoasterClub Denmark: [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]
  14. [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew] All the years I've been waiting for another Intamin invert is finally nearing the end POV should probably be available soon.
  15. It should be IMO. Ground construction have been coming along nicely and parts are now on site. The park also pumped out a lot of concept art on it on their Facebook recently. They probably need 2-2.5 months to erect it and finish it of. Also they probably don't need it open until June as well due to the weather in Poland.
  16. Wildfire have gotten the go-ahed for 2017 from the local town, in accordance with their and their lawyers interpretation of the law and the previous interim permit. Kolmården have not yet decided, they want to have their lawyers go through the material first as they don't want to jepordize the ongoing work with the zoning plan. But everything should be fine for 2017. An announcement is probably given in the next few days/weeks. I could try and translate why a go ahead have been given an all that, but let's just call it complicated law and lawyer stuff.
  17. Update on Wildfire! The ride was operating last summer on an interim permit that was valid as long as the appeal case was in motion. That's why they closed it the same day as the final ruling came in. New zoning plan is done and out on display for people to raise their concerns. It will be voted into effete in May according to the current plan. It's already known that appeals will come, so the process will probably take another year or so to clear out. Big question is if they can open the ride as usual this season or not. The town can give out another interim permit, but if that were to happen the interim permit can also be appealed. Also the town and the park is now very careful now not to do anything against the rules, due to obvious circumstances. We will know more in a few weeks, but they are taking a big economical hit on not being able to market the ride. Wildfire training is done on operators of other rides, so they can open it on short notice. New ride for this year, flying carpets! Been known for quite a while, but it's the first rendering of it. I thought it was going to be a regular flying carpet ride, but this seems more aimed toward children.
