  1. I want to say thanks to everyone for the help and feedback! Simply stated, we had a blast! I have never been able to do so much at the magic kingdom on any visit. When I got there at 4 it did rain a little but after that, it was little to no rain throughout the night, just a drizzle now and then. We got to meet mickey with no wait! That is unheard of but hey, I'll take it. We even met 4 princesses in the matter of 10 minutes. Splash mountain was a walk on, as well as the haunted mansion. We decided to have a late lunch, early dinner at liberty tree tavern. Of course we had no reservations but they were able to seat us. The price point was really good for family style and the food wasn't that bad at all. To sum it up, by the end of the night we were exhausted and skipped some rides out of sheer tiredness. Needless to say I will be returning next year.

  2. At first I laughed, thinking you were referring to the clientele, then I remembered they had the safari park.

  3. "Too many" pushaw...and it's still less than it did in the first year before they reprofiled the first turn. Anyway, according to the Wikipedia page its 4.3g. Coasterpedia lists 4.5g. So somewhere in there.

  4. So, I visited Hershey Park for the first time last Thursday. Park layout and operations aside I really liked the park (more than Kings Island for example). Besides its grand and corporate entrance, I feel like the park still has a lot of charm, hopefully this will not be lost in the future. As I do feel the park is finding itself in this transition between regional to destination park. - The biggest surprise was definitely Skyrush. I absolutely loved that ride. The restraints aren’t comfortable but they aren’t unbearable either. I'd say there on pair with the new Mack restraints... although that might be swearing in the church to some. It does not really happen anymore that a ride gives me an "oh sh*t" moment, so that was a pleasant surprise. - Great Bear was also great, if the ride was 1/4 longer with 2/3 more elements it would definitely be my favourite invert. - Storm Runner was great too, hydraulic launch coasters are some of my favorites and this one actually has a layout after the top hat. - Candymonium is a great ride, especially the first drop & 2nd hill are great. It just pales in comparison to skyrush as B&M hypers all feel very controlled and calculated. Again, I ended up having a great day. The low crowds really helped as the ops were not that great. Can't wait to come back to see what RMC did with wildcat.

  5. ^In your defense, the giraffes are probably more civilized than many New Jersians.

  6. I am visiting this park on Friday for the first time since July 2016. Generally speaking the reviews I read online regarding literally anything coaster or theme park related are more negative than what my experience turns out to be, but after what happened last week and what is happening with the chain in general, I am... prepared for the worst? I suppose. With that being said, I had a great time at SFMM a couple weeks ago. Hot as heck but the park was running great with basically everything open and little to complain about. But of course that doesn't mean this park is the same. Time will tell I guess. I remember it being a great park with decent operations and overall a really good time. But 6 years is a while.

  7. If this place has really fallen into this bad of disrepair I wonder if sea world could buy it? It already has the animals and the rides.

  8. It would appear that some sort of major rehab is afoot! Good news! Maybe new trains, possible re-theme to Two Face with one train launching forwards and the other backwards! Lots of possibilities!

  10. I don't think the guy in charge is the right one to for it. As for patience, I'll spend my money elsewhere until I see changes to make me believe it's worth the price. It was marginally worth it in 2019. It's not even close today, even with the current sale and the return of the meal plan.

  11. The key is, you can’t just make the investment once and call it a day. We’ve already seen that song and dance when Dan Synder did his takeover of the company. When they made their big push to make things more “family friendly,” they made investments like the ones you mentioned and then never maintained any improvements. You can only squeeze so much out of the consumer (especially with six flags clientele), but the shareholders will still want you to squeeze more out of somewhere…

  12. Not sure why there's internet reee-ing (Oh the internet...right) it was a very small area. What did people think was going up? I kinda like it personally. This is absolutely correct, in all my experiences in recent years SV is on avg like 45 mins (sometimes 30 sometimes 60) and yes yes we all know its fast lane not no wait and 45-60 mins is better than 2-3 hours but it still does suck when you are forking out so much $. I would agree only way to "solve" it is to try and price people out but that's not even totally necessary. As someone said above the lockers and how you merge back in really **** things up. It makes the FL line longer than it needs to be. Its a shame, and for people who haven't been/dont go often you kinda need it (unless you can go off season and on a weekday)
