TheStig
^Yeah, thats what I said and thats why Im not going to get one! Im still looking around for a good marker to play with, like an older Angel Speed or an older DM model gun. But I seriously want to start playing again, and Im tired of playing with my 98 custom, so I need to upgrade badly....
trustkill22
If I get a new gun this year (saving up to buy a car) it will probably be an invert mini. I have heard good about them and they are just good looking.
phazan
I just got back from Sherwood in Vallejo. It was really fun, I liked that place a lot...Plus, I got to drive by SFDK! MAN! I'm tired.

Jew
Felt the need to bump this thread. Anyone out there still playing paintball? I'm still playing with my PMR and Halo B. Only ended up getting the Ultralite frame because I like the feel and got tired of the buttons falling out of the stock frame whenever I had to change the battery. I'll probably upgrade to a used DM6 or 7 (have you seen the prices for new high end guns? It's $1,500 for the top of the line Smart Parts gun...) when I get more money saved up. Speeddeamon128
I played paintball 2 weeks ago. It was fun but freezing. I used a Spyder Extra. I didn't hit anybody but when we played president I unfortunately was the president & made it to point B unharmed. However the terrorists were a$$es & shot me twice in the arm after the game ended. Also when we were packing up my one friend was waisting C02 & shooting air at my other friend's face. Unfortunately a paintball was still in the gun &...OUCH! Is anyone gonna hit up Oklahoma D-day? Oh and btw, lets try and keep this thread up please!
Jew
^^You guys should never be allowed to step foot on any paintball field EVER again if that is how irresponsible your group is going to be! That's NOT funny at all.
Speeddeamon128
^Actually it was played in the woods somewhere. We don't play in indoor paintball places because we don't feel like paying. As for my friend who shot the one in the face yes he is very immature & one of the ones who shot me during president.
niiicolaaah
I have never played paint ball but it sounds like a lot of fun and I would love to play it some day! For some reason, it reminds me of Capture the Flag, which I used to be obsessed with when I was younger.
Speeddeamon128
^Capture the flag paintball is fun! Both teams hide their flag & have to try & bring back the other flag to their base. I play it all the time.
Jew
^Nicole, that's exactly what paintball is: capture the flag with guns! ^Actually it was played in the woods somewhere. We don't play in indoor paintball places because we don't feel like paying. As for my friend who shot the one in the face yes he is very immature & one of the ones who shot me during president. No offense, but this is why paintball gets such a horrible reputation. Granted that f you guys are on private property where the owner gave you permission to play, you technically aren't breaking any laws. However, not playing at official fields where safety actually matters, and doing something as stupid as what your friends did, is exactly what gives paintball such a bad reputation and keeps it from becoming more mainstream. Some towns have even outlawed paintball!!
paintballer
Geez, Who's stupid enough to shoot your friend in the face with Co2 or not?!?! I sure as hell wouldn't have.
Angry_Gumball
I would like to play again. Time hasn't allowed for such a thing though... ^^We used to play up in the hills across the street from my house. (This was back in 2002) We even called the police dept to find out if it was OK incase someone got concerned. They said it was OK as long as we were careful. We would all observe caution just as though we were on the field: Once the CO2 was in, it was barrel condom or mask. Any spectators in our group had to wear a mask as well. That lasted for a few months until one member of our group accidentally shot someone's fence (getting way too close to someone's yard) when another tried to nail him. That unfortunately ended it. We did have a rule to aim longways along the hills, not up the hill or down so that no paint would hit a house. Someone called the Highway patrol, and they came waddling up the hill. They just told us that we couldn't play there as it's state property...so I guess the local PD had no say-so. We then packed up and left. To this day, we haven't gone back up there to play. Jew
^^^Had there been any injuries from thet accidental shot to the face, your friend could have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Angry_Gumball
until one member of our group accidentally shot someone's fence Thats when it's ok to wipe! Speaking of wipers, one of the last sessions we did, the opposing team continuously kept wiping. I knew for a fact I nailed them so once I got hit I just said 'screw it' and wiped...and continued playing. Another time, I was hit on the word 'go' and I told my team mate that I think I got hit. He wiped my arm where I was hit and said "I don't see anything!" I snickered and continued playing. If the other team can wipe and get away with it, so should we then. Jew
^That's great. Still doesn't change the fact doing that had to be one of the idiotic things you can ever do with a paintball gun. Your friend sounds like he's lucky to be alive if he was shot point blank and the paintball didn't break. ^^ That's why I always spend a little bit more for high quality paintballs. The bright/thick fills make wiping almost impossible.
KingOfNynex2003
Ok this is going to take a while because I've got a lot of stuff: my gun is the ETEK2 from Planet Eclipse http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vUXTNVMPeE&eurl=http://www.planeteclipse.com/site/eStore.asp I upgraded the bolt to a Cure2 Bolt and I got rid of the BBSS and put in Lazer Eyes A Kingman Spyder Sonix gun with a new barrel (I actually used this gun in my first year of playing speedball and actually did pretty good with it unbelievably) a Pure Energy 50/4500 air tank and also a 30/4500 Empire Contact Pants http://www.shopatron.com/product/part_number=emp_cont_pants_blue/685.0.5231.0.0.0.0 Draxxus Pants http://dxspaintball.com/spotlight/?id=133&DXSpaintball=scenario# Eclipse Distortion Jersey http://www.planeteclipse.com/site/xView.asp?img=09DistJer_White.jpg JT Reaper Mask http://www.jtusa.com/?visionsystems=8034 JT Proflex Mask http://www.jtusa.com/?visionsystems=7912 JT Flex 8 Mask http://www.jtusa.com/?visionsystems=7911 an Invert Harness 2x3x2 https://www.shopatron.com/product/part_number=Invert_apack7_blue/685.1.41139.26529.0.0.0 NXe Harness as well that can hold the same http://www.nxepaintball.com/NX_OEP32B_p/nx-oep32b.htm a Planet Eclipse Crawler Bag (I couldn't find it on their site but take a look at my jersey and it's essentially the same as that design.) and finally I've got an Empire Magna Drive Loader which is the best speedball loader on the market right now and even though it does look ugly it outperforms the HALO anytime. http://www.shopatron.com/product/part_number=38521/685.0.28804.0.0.0.0 and to top it all off I use nothing bu EVIL paint because it's been rated the best in the world for speedball (which happens to be the only thing I play now) Hope all of you enjoyed reading what my gear is.
