davisal771 Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Just bought myself a Canon 20D with a Canon 28-80mm zoom lens and a Promaster 19-35mm wide angle lens with skylight filter, all for $295 I got it used in pretty good shape on eBay, I'm really excited to get it and start shooting

Real Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Should be same as yours. My sensor is just sharper and 2mp higher than that 20D. I crop to fit the finished product so sometimes its non-standard.

Not entirely original but I hope to get up there this week to do some test runs. If it turns out like I want it too, it should be pretty freakin cool.

I'm a fan of bokeh as well, but not when it's the primary subject in the photograph. To me, most of those shots look like the Petri dish of a lab experiment, and not fireworks.

Â I didnt actually tilt it. Look at the railing. It was just the path of the ride. Which is why I love time lapse so much. Such randomness.

Real Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Yea, I hadnt realized the old drummer retired. She almost could be her daughter, they have similar features and hair style/color. I just kept thinking "She looks WAY younger" Then got on my phone and confirmed that. Definitely a pretty girl but very, VERY talented. Great voice too.
