robbalvey Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 The funny thing is, when I was thinking "Drywall" I wasn't actually thinking the of plastery stuff. I was thinking of Stan Ridgway, the ex-front man for Wall of Voodoo's bizarre little film project he did in the early 90s: http://www.stanridgway.com/drywall/ Not even too sure what to make of it or how it came about, but I remember thinking it was VERY weird! And for whatever reason it was the first thing that popped in my mind when the text box for the forum management screen came up! --Robb "Random is a good thing!" Alvey
JamesMC Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 Hey Robb, perhaps you were listening to a Mexican Radio? Other than that the obvious connections would be elusive.
robbalvey Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 I know! I know! They're building a nursery using drywall and Rob's craving lentil soup... You know....I've kind of been craving that soup again......
Nrthwnd Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 No - no... Time for a change here... POTATOE SOUP W/CHEESE IN A BREAD BOWL! Thanks to Julie/USRoadTripper and her recent scrumptious 'find' at Knott's!
Freefallbestrideever Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 wow this thread is still alive lol, on-topic, my family is putting in some new tile this week
robbalvey Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 No - no... Time for a change here... POTATOE SOUP W/CHEESE IN A BREAD BOWL! They've been serving that for YEARS! Great stuff! One of the few remains of the "good times" at Knott's. But for the REAL good "soup in a bread bowl" you gotta try the ones at Disneyland! The chili in a breadbowl is GOOD STUFF!!! --Robb "Although no theme park soup-in-a-breadbowl beats Panera for me...." Alvey
BelizeIt Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Lets see, Robb revives a 4 month old thread that highlights "They're building a nursery"............. Perhaps Robb + Elissa are about to make an announcement (or maybe they already did) that the Ultimate Rollercoaster Enthusiast of all time is on the way!
robbalvey Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Sorry, I was really just up late and hungry! --Robb "I love how people always seem to read into stuff!" Alvey
BelizeIt Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Actually Robb, when I got home from work last night I was going to post something in the Rant thread, and I noticed that the last post was from you about how Apartment hunting sucks. (Then I got a phone call and I forgot to post my rant) So combine "They're building a nursery" + Apartment hunting sucks (you need a larger place) = my above post.
robbalvey Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 ^ Um...yeah..... Let's see... I was hungry....and we need a new apartment because our lease is up at the end of November, and it's nothing but college kids in our complex now.....And what the only thing we would need more room for all these boxes of TPR stuff that seem to keep popping up around the place! --Robb "Sorry!" Alvey
coasterjunkie91350 Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Robb your lease is up soon why are they so short mine on this house is not even a yr long
Ryan King Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Robb you lease is up in november? well now is a good time to look at a mobile home my older sister and her husband have a 1300 sq foot mobile home im sure that somthing like that would be perfect for you and elissa. Wow...I got nothin! Im out!
Ryan King Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 ^ Um...yeah..... Let's see... I was hungry....and we need a new apartment because our lease is up at the end of November, and it's nothing but college kids in our complex now.....And what the only thing we would need more room for all these boxes of TPR stuff that seem to keep popping up around the place! --Robb "Sorry!" Alvey Boxes of TPR stuff? Im not sure that thats really the word to describe the Alvey's Apartment...please, allow me explain... Put yourself in the postion of walking up to a scene of hiroshima and nagasaki in WW2...Maybe throw in some TPR T-shirts & DVDs...Elissa's Stuffed Animals ECT. The Island in the Kitchen is stacked high and mighty, almost bigger then Sky Tower, which is stacked with MORE Stuffed Animals, Blankets, Robb's Deep Frier from the last Party TPR Party...Car Keys...Season Passes...Coupons. The closests have a huge number of decomposing bodies in them...and more TPR T-shirts and DVDS. But the ONLY area, that seems to think you might still truely be sain, is the computer desk. The ONLY thing in Life that both Robb and Elissa have to spend time in front of, TPR is a big job...but ya know...we love it. -Ryan "Wow! I totally rambled for like 1 paragraph!" King
SharkTums Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Oh dear. Anyone who knows ANYTHING about Robb or I, knows better than YOU! We would pretty much rather live in our cars than a trailer!!!!! You are WAY off! I feel dirty even responding to this.
TheStig Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Heh, move back down to FL, you can hate old people with me, it'll be fun! No really, dont. But hey living in a trailer is like living in an apartment, except for the fact that someone could repo your ENTIRE HOUSE in 10 seconds flat. Now THAT is living! Colin"Stay away from the double wides"C
Gnome Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 and you have to admit that the trailer trash lifestyle is very convinient.
coasterjunkie91350 Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 I WAS out for a bit with mom taking her to the doctor and low and behold my younger brother came in and goofed around on this i was going to post somthing to help you and he said somthing way out of line sorry you guys live in a good area its alot better then a rental home for 2300 a month and a landlord thats a total moron
gonecrzyNSC Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 I know! I know! They're building a nursery using drywall and Rob's craving lentil soup... You know....I've kind of been craving that soup again...... See, I'm psycho...Er...I mean PSYCHIC.
