Milkchan Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 The trailer and images are up at http://www.lucasarts.com/games/thrillville/ The game seems to use the RCT3 engine. It also includes what I wanted in RCT3 is controlling a person and walk around in the park. It also lets you play alot of minigames, you can drive in a gokart race, and play minigolf. Looks like its fun.
kennywood!007 Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Looks awsome, I'll be addicted to it as soon as I get it..lol
darklingscribe Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Man I hope those Screenshots are from the PSP version. Because if those are shots from the Xbox or PS2 this game's graffics suck.
Reon Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 ^Hey, if its THIS interactive, and doesnt crash my computer; Im sure a slightly-crapified graphic drive is acceptable. I cant wait to get it!
Angry_Gumball Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 I had a feeling that the game would look almost like RCT3 right down to the construction. It looks cool though but I'll stick with my RCT3.
gunslinger Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Hm. Maybe if my computer explodes I'll rent it. the "walk around as a person" thing sounds kinda neat, it's nice to see it's FINALLY an option. But if I'm walking around looking at rides straight out of Sim Theme Park.. Eh.
RRollergod Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 I personaly like it, definatly somthing to do on a rainy day. I'm just wondering how you "talk" to your guests?
DATman Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 ^^Can't you say anything positive about this? It hasn't even been released and you're giving it a thumbs down. Play it before bashing it... I only wish that I has PS2 or a PSP...
Richard Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 I'm just wondering how you "talk" to your guests? I'm guessing it'll be like the 3D point and click games, like Monkey Island or Grim Fandango (I'm a huge fan of those games =D) Where you get an option of things to say. This kinda looks like a mix between those games and rct3, I'm loving the trailer too.
Dailey Enterprizes Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 I like the "build your own rides and mini-games" feature because that's the one thing that I wanted Chris Sawyer to put in his games and didn't. Anyway, so far it's RCT3ish, but I'm guessing it's still in the early developement stage, so we have to wait and see what becomes of this.
RRollergod Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 i just hope those pics arn't really for the game and just samples! Those are worse than the themepark series.
waterviper Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 I just saw the trailor on this and I am already sold! This looks like an amasingly fun game!! Unlike Gunslinger who thinks it's gona be the worst game to hit the console scene, I think this is gona be one hell of an addicting game with many many hours of game play!!! I am totally looking forward to playing this!! I think this is gona be a huge hit and become poplular with the coaster/theme park simulation crowd!! This is most definetly going to be a great addition to the coaster/theme park simulation games!
