Another Fear i have.

Glass Block. I was installing glass block in my basement and one 8x8 inch section fell and hit the ground. it fell about 9 inchs...

Until that time, i had no idea those things were pressurized. It went off like a bomb. I wound up covered in glass. I got about 10 cuts from the shrapnel.

Per the glass block maker: Glass can, at times, become pressurized, but seldom explode.

That was reasuring... lol

  • 5 weeks later...

I am scared of swimming in the middle of Lake Hartwell, gah that place is full of trash, as well as any lake around here, when they built em' they just flooded towns and stuff there are still trees underwater and houses. There are also boats and a train i think. It is just creepy to be 500 feet above the cold bottom of a dark lake.

I'm scared of ACEers. Especially at buffets...

Seriously---and strangely---my biggest fear is losing a limb. I don't know why that is, but the thought of being without an arm or leg just freaks me out.

And being diabetic doesn't help.

^ I have a fear of death also, but that is slowly subsiding since I'm believing more in an afterlife. I can't find the logic in being alive and just dying. See, if you were to die, then you wouldn't have memories, you wouldn't remember anything, which means, you wouldn't remember anything in present time. It's slightly confusing since I have this interesting theory on memories.

Oh yeah, Newark, NJ area scares the Sh*t out of me at night. I think it's related to the possability that the psychics told me that I died on the Hindenburg in a past life. It's freaky because it might be true.

^ Let me rephrase it to help make more sense

When you go by your day to day life, everything you do, see, touch, etc leaves a memory in your head. for example, I can remember one event when I was two years old and it felt like yesterday it happend to me, yet at the same time I question the memories existance meaning (did that really happen to me?).

But when you die, some people believe thats the end point, no after life, your just a body that rots in the ground. But you wouldn't be remembering anything nor recall any memories.

Which means, presently in time, you wouldn't be seeing it and remembering anything because in the end your not alive to recall the memories.

I know it's still sounds a bit confusing but let me give an example that might help

I've been in a few hypnotist shows and when the the hypnotist says that I wouldn't remember anything from what I did in the show, that does not happen. Because first off I remember everything that happend and what he said. If it were to work, I would only remember walking up to the stage and then walking to back to my chair, no memories in between.

This does happen to people because it happend to my friend Holly.

I hope this helps.

My belief is that you do have a soul and when your physical body passes on your soul moves on and brings those memories along. So the memories you remember are in term probably in your "souls brain"

Thats my theory that I think a lot of.

I'm afraid of.......

Breaking any bones in my body, as I have yet to do so, and hopefull it never happens.

Scared of some heights, Like being on top of a tall building.

But i'm mostly scared of Car-Crashes...it sounds weird but nowadays, they are becoming more and more frequent...and since I live behind a higway, I hear them all the time....my ultimate fear would to be in a Car-Crash.

I'm afraid of Weapons of Mass corruption. like, saying a Country has bio weapons and nukes. You turn around, spend billions to rid them of those weapons and after two years, you find zilch... nada.. donut.

And, we are paying for this. (U.S. people only that is....)

What's life like in New Zealand?
