SixFlagsOMA80 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 The website and app now redirect to Enchanted Parks. New Passes are now only for Enchanted branded parks. I noticed the new CEO was active in one of the SFSTL fan pages on Facebook. I'm hopeful this change will be good for our park and bring it back to the better days we had in the 80's & 90's. It for sure can't get any worse than how SF treated this park after Premier Parks killed the SF Company after the Time Warner buyout. SF and it's stockholders need to go to hell. Thank god we are managed by a private company now. 4

Apparently La Ronde doesn't close until second quarter with some additional things that need to be done first. SF CEO John Reilly issued a statement with more blah, blah, blahing about optimization of their parks with growth potential, which we were not one of in the eyes of SF. Still pissed we are losing our free pass to Cedar Point after this year. Mike It's really going to be funny if Mid-America, Worlds of Fun and Valleyfair end up growing faster than the lower tier parks remaining in the Six Flags chain. 1

KBrylczyk Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Huh, so how do I process my 2026 Six Flags pass? When I bought it they said I had to get it processed at St Louis and I was planning on going opening weekend.
DannySixFlags Posted April 12 Posted April 12 I hope Enchanted Parks are really in talks with WB like they said. They can manage to work out their contract somehow, right? I just miss the Aquaman Avenue sign. Had no idea it was removed until the Six Flags Wiki Discord server told me.
prozach626 Posted April 12 Posted April 12 I'm so jaded that part of me wants everything related to the SF franchise memory burned to the ground, but the Loony Tunes nostalgia would be nice. Dumpster all of the comic book shit, though. 1

The only issue would be if Six Flag's agreement with WB is for exclusive rights to the characters in North American parks. If that is the case, Six Flags will argue that they should pay less for their contract if other parks are allowed to compete with the same characters in North America and likely sue for breach of contract unless they were compensated for the loss of exclusivity. If that amount is too large, and EPR/Enchanted Parks don't make up the difference then WB may decline a new contract with WPR/Enchanted and stay loyal to Six Flags.
prozach626 Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I think they'd be just as likely to use it as leverage to drive up the cost of an EPR contract. If they cut ties with WB now, it may cost more to retheme the rides now but save them money in the long term. They're already going to have to retheme a ton of rides, so they might as well rip the Band-Aid off now. I don't foresee them keeping WB.
Danrarbc Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Keeping WB was always a pipe dream. The only thing I could see is a targeted Loony Tunes-only license. And only because Cedar Flags might decide they want to use Peanuts as the sole kids IPs. Alternatively they make a deal to sell the Peanuts license to Enchanted. It truly doesn’t make sense for Cedar Flags to have both. That’s the part of the merger that’s always been a question mark IMO. It doesn’t make sense to have both. 2

SixFlagsOMA80 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 James, the new CEO was interviewed yesterday. Sounds like he is trying to keep both IP’s - Peanuts and WB/DC. Also info on dining plans might be released by the end of the week(if you have a SF meal plan and if they will work this season)

I suspect the CEO knows full well they won't get all of them but it would help if they can get at least one.

Did you upload a photo or chose take one at the park? You may need to contact the park to see if they can activate it. I didn't need to activate my Knott's pass before using it but I also uploaded a photo when I purchased it. I just added the pass to the app and it worked. I couldn't find it on the SFStl website but the Michigan's Adv site has it in the FAQ that the 2026 SF passes will be honored. I don't see anything mentioned about meal or season fastlane plans so who knows on them. So they take them but can't answer any qustions about them. https://miadventure.enchantedparks.com/park-info/faq/ 1
SixFlagsOMA80 Posted Thursday at 02:58 PM Posted Thursday at 02:58 PM The return of CHASER LIGHTS? One can only hope that is what this means --- other updates are more subtle but meaningful: The park has restored details on classic attractions, including ongoing work on the carousel and plans to enhance the Screamin’ Eagle this year with new lighting and anniversary touches that will let riders experience the coaster after dark, much like when it first opened. https://www.stlmag.com/family/final-summer-six-flags-st-louis/ 2
Danrarbc Posted Thursday at 06:31 PM Posted Thursday at 06:31 PM It has to mean the chasers are coming back. That's the experience it had when it opened. 1
teacherkim Posted Thursday at 06:54 PM Posted Thursday at 06:54 PM Ok I swear I posted a couple weeks ago but maybe I'm older than I thought and only did it in my head, lol. My thoughts: I am 100% willing to give EP the benefit of the doubt and wait and see how they manage things. I'm not going to trash the old ownership, that's just yelling into the void, but I do hope that now having the status of one of the top parks in a chain (no matter how small said chain is) some good investment is put into the park. I think good places to start are the shows, which they are already doing, and working on staffing which I know is easier said than done. Assuming that they are not able to keep the DC characters I think a re-do of Justice League for next year would be fabulous and relatively cheap and easily done off season. Another good step in the right direction would be to make some real improvements to Frightfest. For those of you that want HITP back that will be a lot more expensive and always lost money. FF is a proven money maker. A few new flats are easy too. I won't expect a brand new giant coaster early on, that's just not realistic. As far as the announcement that the dining plans won't work...........I mean it's a bit annoying but at least they are offering compensation if desired and they still work at the SF owned parks. To be honest we seldom used both our meal credits at the park. I was already asked to pick a new home park for our memberships on the SF app with no mention of the fact that said memebership will continue to work at the sold off parks this year. Of course. I don't really care about DC characters and I have mixed feelings about the Looney Tunes characters. Sure they are nostalgic but the prescence or not of characters does not affect my attendance at a park, although they do enhance the atmosphere. Perhaps it would be just as well to have some characters a little more relevant to today's children. I mean when was the last time LT was even on anywhere? Or even more inclusive to some enhanced themeing, like having Igor roaming around Darkmoor at EU although I don't expect it on that scale. Screamin Eagle! The acknowledgement of it's anniversery is wonderful, the pins on opening weekend a nice touch, the implication that more is coming promising and even the thought of new chaser lights intoxicating. In all seriousness though maintenance of a classic like SE should be an indication of how EP will value the park. I'll be optimistic until there is some reason not to be! p.s. - I can confirm there will be an article about SE's 50th in an upcoming edition of Rollercoaster! for those that receive the ACE publication. SteveStL Posted Thursday at 07:45 PM Posted Thursday at 07:45 PM Is that ACE event still being held here in 2027? if so, that would be a great opportunity for Enchanted to make a name for itself, plus all perks the park would benefit from.

Well ACE events are big enough changing plans even a year out is something they don't want to do. Yes all three parks are still taking part in the ACE event - ours will just do it under its new name. 1

At this point yes, I have heard nothing to the contrary and that is CoasterCon, ACE's flagship event. It will be great PR for Enchanted Parks! 1
