Firefox has a feature on it that blocks images hosted on 3rd party servers. So if someone posts an avatar or image in a message NOT hosted on TPR, it will not show.

Is anyone here OTHER than Benzo having problems viewing photos while using Firefox?

What version?

They just came out with 1.5.

Check Edit->Preferences->Web Features->Load Images

Check your exceptions, themeparkreview.com might be there.

Ok, so am I to assume that if people are having problems with FireFox it is based on their browser settings and NOT an issue with the site?

No problems for me, either. A number of extensions and themes won't work in 1.5, though, so if any of them are vitally important to you, check it out before updrading.

I work with the bigger brother of firefox; Mozilla Suite and I have no problems with tpr
You know Mozilla Suite is discontinued and unsupported right? In fact I am not even sure that the Suite got the updates necessary to prevent the last exploit I saw posted for Mozilla apps.

Please if you are using a Mozilla based browser get Firefox 1.5 it has automatic updates which will help to prevent problems for you. It also has a number of nice new features.

I suggest people make the move to Firefox and Thunderbird if they are currently using Suite.

Thanks everyone! I really just wanted confirmation that FireFox was in fact working. I've only tested it a couple of times as for the site, my data shows that less than 10% of the visitors use FireFox (although I'm going to assume that the percentage of forum users is higher) but it forces me to use IE as the 'lowest common denominator' that I have to cater to.

Some people were saying that there were problems with FireFox and TPR, but I had a feeling it was more of a browser setting issue, and now a site issue.

Thanks again for your help!

So i'm using FF too - with caring about my browser settings. Working with TPR as perfect as could be.

Robb, this is a typical PEBCAK. Please, please, don't feel "forced" into downgrading your site for these kind of problems. It would be like putting OSTR's and 3 seatbelts on a sofa. Someone always *could* fall off...

I have to be honest, I tried FireFox, and I just didn't see what it offered over IE.

Not to offend anyone who uses FireFox, I just didn't get what was so different about it. I'm sure it's great for those who use it, but with IE and browers are concerned I took the "if it ain't broke...." attitude.

Sorry, but IE works just fine for everything I need it to do.
