^I wouldn't call the hosts "douchey," but they were very "earnest" and a little annoying.

I was thrilled to see them on TV again.

Sucked when they were booted off Mythbusters. . . but good fit here for the kind of show they are doing.

I didn't get a chance to watch tonight. Who tuned it? Was the show decent?

I liked it, tho some of the footage (for an enthusiast. . at least for a TPR website enthusiast ) was a bit dated -- ie: the footage at SFMM was filmed before Colossus was converted (or burned!). . .so that made me wonder how long they'd been working on the show.

but I liked it, and so did my Partner -- we watched together. Loved seeing Tory and Kari (as I noted above), and thought they are a very good fit for what the show is trying to explain.

Lots of time spent showing beautiful footage too. And we geeked over the Nothing But Net segment in Dallas. . since I recognized the drop ride from here, and it's just up I35 from us

Watching tonight's episodes as well... Would that happen to be your footage of Olympia Looping, Robb?

I really like the way this show breaks down the science and engineering behind all of the rides. Very cool stuff! Though I'm getting a bit tired of hearing, for example, "150 feet -- that's as tall as a 15-STORY BUILDING!!!"

They were up at Glenwood Caverns earlier this Summer for this show. I believe it shows later this fall. Glad to see your consulting, hopefully some knowledge actually goes down.

That was included on the first episode aired tonight; they blindfolded and earmuffed Kari while putting her on the Glenwood Canyon Flyer, took metrics, then repeated it without the blindfold and earmuffs to show what a difference there is when certain senses are missing.

As far as the height comparisons, MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY lol. We get it....every 10ft of a ride equals a story.

However, I do love the show. Interesting take on things. And lets be honest....if coasters are on tv, we don't need an excuse to watch.

So they chose Hades freakin' 360 to measure how the forces you feel vary among different seats. Tory did not look happy to be re-riding!

The rope swing jump off the platform in the stadium in South Africa looks incredible. Bucket list!

Yep, unfortunately I was not there the day they filmed. It's a fun ride, though I get sick sometime operating it. lol

WOW, they actually used Olympia Looping in episode 104! Pleasantly surprised to see something like that make it onto a main stream TV show. Looks to be Robb's footage so if you're to thank for that Robb, thank you Instead of Olympia Looping though the hosts get to ride Hades 360..thats a serious best-to-worst turn right there.

So I finally got around to watching it. Wow, that entire segment was all our footage! I thought it came out looking great! Was happy with all the edits that they chose and glad they used many of the different angles I gave them.

It was also interesting to see the Steel Dragon footage. You could easily tell which rider cam footage was the stuff I gave them and which footage they used from their rider cams of Insane Coaster Wars. One rider cam was very smooth...one not so much! Was nice to see they used a lot of our POVs and off-ride shots from Steel Dragon as well.

I've seen the first 2 episodes, and while it's entertaining, interesting, and very informative, I can't help get over how many repeated shots they use in each segment (the only one that they didn't seem to repeat shots was Steel Dragon 2000, so kudos to you, Robb). I guess sometimes they just can't get that many, but it kind of gets annoying to see the same exact shot of somebody screaming 5+ times in a 5 minute period.

Other than that, I do enjoy the show, and there have been some attractions on it I've never even seen before, so that's pretty cool.

I've enjoyed the show so far. I even learned something. However, who's idea was it to film them on Hades 360? Poor unfortunate souls.

No kidding. You could definitely see the "Hades face" on them at the end of their first run.

Not sure if anyone else is still watching this show, or if everyone's forgotten that it's on, but I tuned in last night and caught the first episode of the night. Saw Robb & Elissa's mugs staring back at me during the Formula Rossa segment! Naturally, the episode was loosely themed around cars, with Tory taking a test-drive out at Sonoma Raceway. Thought I must have accidentally tuned into Top Gear for a few.

Ive got a season pass for it, it's a great show. I love the scientific spin on it..so far it's been my favorite of the coaster/thrill ride shows. I think it's funny how the hosts are often riding some horrific rough coaster like Hades 360 while showing video of a much better ride somewhere else that they're not riding.
