Jiffy Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Wow, this couldn't have been anymore perfect. My parents asked me where I wanted to go for my graduation trip, and naturally I said Magic Mountain. I planned my trip for the weekend of September 6th & 7th and then found out that this year's West Coast Bash date for Magic Mountain is on the 7th...hehe guess I'm going to West Coast Bash. Hope to buy the tickets soon
Rockitfan Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I'm so excited!!! I'm going to the Six Flags Magic Mountain even!! Can't wait for ERT on X2 and YOlocoaster!
Kyle Coleman Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Just bought tickets for both days. Looking forward to another awesome weekend with everyone.
JeromyL Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Just bought tickets for both days. Looking forward to another awesome weekend with everyone. Â I'll be picking mine up on the 1st
Someotherguyuser Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Just recently got my ticket secured! This year, I'm only going to Knott's, but I'm excited!
rcdude Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Just purchased tickets for the Knott's day. It looks like this could be the best year yet for that event. Unfortunately, SFMM isn't justifiable for me this year, but I know Knott's will still be awesome.
Intaman Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I did WCB last year and I had a great time; however, X2 was down, so I think that and the fun time to be had can incentivize me enough to get out there this year.
JJLehto Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Yup, tis official...I'll have school during this time. Was hoping I could get a schedule that would work but no good. Ah well. Will there be a WCB 2015? If so, sign me up
Tremindouz Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I have always wanted to go to WCB but something always seemed to come up. Weddings, baptisms, works trips… It looks like the stars have aligned this year. I just bought tickets for me and my wife! I'm so excited.
skaunit Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Hey Robb, Is there any chance of bringing back a scavenger hunt or anything remotely similar at SFMM this year? KBF fills our day so well, but for the SFMM day it just seems so empty the past few years [i didn't attend 2013 though], espeically compared to my first year at WCB back in 2009 [construction tour of Termapocinator]. *edit it was 2009 which was my first WCB, and that was the construction of terminator... 2010 was "take the tunnel" Â I'm not complaining by any stretch, simply curious if we have any games/activities to look forward to for the SFMM day outside of ERT?
KBrylczyk Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 ^ Yeah! It's a new game this year! It's called "Bend over and take it raw" and it's trademarked by Six Flags. It's not WCB-Exclusive, though, unfortunately, so apologies for that.
robbalvey Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 I'm not complaining by any stretch, simply curious if we have any games/activities to look forward to for the SFMM day outside of ERT? Unfortunately, not. Sorry!
Kyle Coleman Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Anyone still looking for a hotel I just scored the knotts hotel for three nights for 65 or so a night on hotwire a few minutes ago.

Unfortunately, not. Sorry! Â On a vaguely related note, is there any possibility of some kind of discount or coupon or something for folks who would like to go to Hurricane Harbor during the day while there's nothing else going on?
jlines Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Anyone still looking for a hotel I just scored the knotts hotel for three nights for 65 or so a night on hotwire a few minutes ago. Does this rate include parking? I can't really tell on HW's site. Priceline express deal says it does, but the deal is higher so that negates the savings. I do have a Platinum Pass so would that get me free parking at the hotel anyway?
Kyle Coleman Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 I used hotwire for wcb last year and it did not include parking. It was seven bucks a day last year.
KBrylczyk Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 ^^ Econo Lodge across the street. Free parking, 5 minute walk to the front gate. $40/night.
kristenstep23 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I went to Banshee Bash Friday and it was awesome. I am considering if I can find some funds somehow going to the WCB. Does anyone ever share a rental car? I am thinking I just want to get there go to the bash and fly home the following morning. If I can figure something out I will make it the following year it is something I have wanted to do for awhile. Would like to go to Disneyland someday and at least do some of the stuff they don't have at Florida.
JeromyL Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 We will have at least one extra spot in the rental car, Shoot me an email and I'll give you our itenerary
christinesmi Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I'm trying to get tickets but I am receiving a message that it's for members only. Can you tell me if you have received my clubTPR membership information?
i<3coasters Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Ahh! Didn't realize how soon this was coming up. Just got my Knott's tickets, check in the mail tomorrow!
SingleRiderCam Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 WCB is coming up faster than I thought it would. I will buy my tickets soon.
