tarheelblue55 Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Ive been thinking lately about hypercoasters and what they would be like with inversions. That led me to this though which is: If Magnum XL-2000 had been built with an inversion, what would the rest of coaster history from there on look like?
coastercrazy 9 Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I think that following the trend that Arrow set forth, which many companies still do, you may see almost all hyper coasters have inversions. I don't think a floating airtime zero-g would be that bad on a B & M.
Intaman Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 And was bought and relocated to Mt. Olympus...
Wes Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 What if you went back in time and stole all of Ron Toomer's coat hangers?
cfc Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 ^The future would've been a much less painful place.
Swimace Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 It probably would have gone something like this... Â http://rcdb.com/123.htm
cfc Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 What is a Magnum XL 2000? Â The most powerful condom yet conceived. It can prevent Superman from making Lois pregnant 40% of the time.
Philrad71 Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Can't believe no one has said this yet....it would have sunk.
australianalex Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I was actually going to answer the question but after reading the first 2 pages I'm ashamed to not have a pun.
sammmmmy Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Can't believe no one has said this yet....it would have sunk. Â Â This brings up a great idea they should make maggie go underwater and have a loop at the same time!
Condor Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Hey guys, what do you think TPR would be like today if LaMarcus Thompson never built the Coney Island Switchback Railway in 1884!?
alpengeistfan1 Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Hey guys, what do you think TPR would be like today if LaMarcus Thompson never built the Coney Island Switchback Railway in 1884!? Â It would still be here, except it would be a site totally dedicated to donkeys and bags of crap would be literal.
Jew Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 ^^We'd be ice slide enthusiasts. Like Jeff Johnson was back in the day
tarheelblue55 Posted December 26, 2012 Author Posted December 26, 2012 What if it had a 1,000 ft. loop.......After the 2,000 ft. Drop
