^ I don't think it would be about the game. It would probably be about some billionaire that builds a theme park and the rides start breaking down and crashing.

I'd like to see RCT3 but with advanced NL like track designers, and add some Thrillville in so that you could play the games.

And for the name cheat, does anything happen when you type in Robb Alvey?

Nope, he did not put one in for himself.

I have to say if there ever was a single person on this planet with the skill, passion and knowledge about games and theme parks Robb would be it. If I was Atari I would be offering him mega dollars to bring his ideas into what the the next RCT game should be. It would be worth every cent!

If there would be a RCT4 I would like to see a wingrider coaster, the new b&m prototype wing walker trains and the ball coaster with a launch and where it can have a chain lift and where it is under the track like an inverted coaster and a eurofighter and the dive machine coaster with griffon trains sheikra trains. Sorry if my typing is bad but I

on my iPod touch. And I have to add the flatrides soon.

^I've seen people who have better grammar than that that use a cell phone number pad.

What you are asking for Atari to do is a bit unrealistic. If they do this, I'm positive that they will allow some kind of customization like what they did with RCT3. People where able to give stuff to the community and Atari encourages it, so even if you dont get what you want. It'll still be possible more than likely.

The only thing that I do hope they do is have the coasterball lift thing. I actually found some use for that, to be quite honest.

I mean no offense, to clarify.

Ok, but I'm just giving ideas to Atari, and I would love to see a realistic park like NoLimits in Roller Coaster Tycoon 4. I think making a theme park should be bigger, or that you can type in how big you want your park. That would be cool.

Fixed

Please use proper grammar when posting, if Mcjaco sees bad gammar, a ban is not far off...

If you did not know.....there is a little program in RCTs 1,2, and 3 called Scenerio Editor, with enables you to create a park, change the size of it and create every aspect of it. You can create realistic parks in RCT1, 2, and 3 if you know what you are doing. It takes time, and effort. If you would like to see realistic parks for the RCT series, why not create them yourself. A tool is only as useful as the person using it. No matter how many tools are set before you, if you do not take the time to understand how to use a tool, no matter how realistic it is, your parks will turn out bad. Take the time to fully understand the aspects of the game. Truely appreciate what kind of an amazing piece of software engineering you have before you, and you could create the greatest RCT park ever. Time. Time is the key to your problem. Take time to become skillful at the game, and then create a park. Take a look at other's parks and learn from them. Experiment. Then you will understand that RCT is not just a game, but a tool that can only be truely appreciated if you play to learn. Learn the tool. Master it. Mastering it takes time, and only a select few can truely become masters. You can become a master if you truely works at it. Am I a master? No, of course not. I am still learning. Slowly but surely I have become more skillful at building parks. Take a look at my park Carlsbad Gardens from beginnging to end, and you will see that I drastically improved of the course of a few months.

If you do not learn at least understand that not everything you want can become reality. Just because you want it doesn't mean you will get it. If someone tells you not to create a "Make me CFRs, CTRs, and CS Thread" DON'T MAKE ONE! Respect your superiors, that is the first step.

I hope you have taken the time to read this. This is vital knowledge you need to understand this game. If you cannot understand....maybe TPR isn't the place for you, maybe some other site is. I do not know.

^I'm the master, infact you can say that I'm the best player of RCT2 in the history of time itself

Now, I didn't want to start a thread on its own about this, as we have this. I want to do a panel discussion on what some people want in for RCT4. If you are interested PM me with a skype account (you need a mic). I have way to much to say in text, and would rather do it in audio format. Anyone else wants in, again PM me.

Problem with that though is that it's hard to get a companys name, or its just better not to have it. In the past games, Atari or II never put down company names. They might have taken the track concept and train design, but the companys can't claim that under copyright I belive.

Remember, this game is not just going out to the coaster enthusiasts out here on TPR and Atari. Almost everyone I know has heard or played of RCT (1-3), and there is a good chance that all of them arn't as enthusiastic about coasters and stuff.

This is why when the more hardcore gamers of this game request certian things like catargoiraztion by company, it causes a lot of unnessasryness.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I plan on wrighting some kind of super article when I get on my home computer....the one that has spell check and what not

^^^ The reason NoLimits has copyrighted company names (i.e. Gerstlauer Eurofighter) is because Ole Lange and NoLimits were approached by the companies (Vekoma, Gerstlauer and Maurer Söhne, I believe) to have some of their designs included in the program. Also, NoLimits is targeted to a more hardcore enthusiast crowd. Putting in the names of all those companies into RCT4 (including some, like TOGO and Arrow that don't even exist anymore) would be downright impossible. Having some, but not others, would also be a little weird, in my opinion. The solution is to continue adding generic coaster types that are blatant copies of real life styles.

Now, I wonder if it would be out of the question to create fictional coaster companies, like "Sparrow" creates multi-dimensionals and corkscrew types while "G&N" deals with inverts and floorless....

I'm sure most of you have noticed the data files in RCT2 had names like INTGIG (Intamin Giga) and BMStand (B&M Stand-Up). But yea, that would be cool to have company names, doubtful though. I like the idea of using Locomotions multiplayer in RCT4. That would be alot of fun for online and networking. Hopefully we will here something soon about RCT4. Atleast let us know they game has been started. Any news would be good.

If they intend on keeping it like RCT3 then they need to seriously address the lag problem when the park gets too big/a lot of guests/during night mode. That's also another reason I'm all for going back to RCT2 style play - never had an issue running the game when my parks were large and/or had a lot of guests.

So there IS a thread about this already... who knew?

So, is this game really coming out? All I've seen are fake trailer about it on youtube... convincing, but fake trailers...

I hanestly wouldn't know what more they can do with this... I mean, besides maybe improving the graphics, maybe they can fix a few other things that work our nerves in RCT3. Other than that, I don't know. I'd still buy it if it came out though.
